If the country's people were terrorized, do you expect the government to just stand back? Do you know the history between the Middle-East and Israel? Israel had no place to go so the UN gave them a tiny strip of land in the Middle-East. But due to the greed and hate of the Arabs, they still attacked and ended up losing a lot of lands to the Jews. If an Islamic terrorist group, oh let's say, crashed 3 planes into 2 of your important establishments, namely the Pentagon and the World Trade Center, you don't expect fear and anger to come from that? Illegal for children to use a rifle? No it isn't, there is a Rifle Merit Badge in Boy Scouts where you need to show proficiency in Rifle usage in order to obtain. Not only that but kids do not learn how to safely use BB guns in Hunter's Safety Classes, they learn how to use a real gun. It is illegal for children to own a gun, not use them. If a secret shadow government organization, oh let's say, crashed 3 planes into 2 of our important establishments, namely the Pentagon and the World Trade Center, then made it look like it was done by some cave dwelling arabs. I don't know how you grew up, but there was no 'force' of me to get into military. Heck, I don't even know anyone planning to get into military. We have choices. Where did you grow up? Because majority of kids here would say they want to be a doctor, a nurse, an engineer, a teacher, etc. I myself have though of being in the Air Force or become a detective. I know the risk I'm taking if I choose that path, but it's my own choosing. It's because I might want to, not because my parents nor any propaganda forced me. I grew up in the United States where the media is owned by a select few and pull the strings in public opinion. I grew up in the United States where there are only two main political parties that are turning what was once a great country into something terrible. I grew up in the United States where we are losing freedom and aren't given a choice except between the lesser of two evils. Not everyone has the same opportunity to go to college so they are willing to join the National Guard to pay for their schooling. Instead of defending their country they are destroying another's. "Support our troops" is different from teaching Middle Eastern children hate of the Western countries. I've never seen children here being taught how to shoot an M-16 or to 'die' for this country. It's very different, it's foolish to think so. I'm sure a lot of children believe that they would die for their country if it was invaded by a foreign power. Would they consider themselves terrorists or insurgents if they killed some of the soldiers. They may not be trained to use an M-16 but many children hunt and know how to use a rifle. Exactly how? Are we taught to hate certain people with a passion? Are we educated how to fight against this certain people? Are we? No. Propaganda (if you call it so) where the army recruits is proper. They give people the choice, the liberty to choose what they want to do in life. It's different from being raised to be a terrorist. We are being taught to fear Latino Immigrants and Arabs. And as long as we keep seeing Immigration problems and bad news in the Middle East this will continue. When you wake up one day and you are living in the American Union and your currency is the Amero, it'll be too late.

All children are exposed to propoganda from either their parents or state-sponsored or corporate media both of with are biased and have an agenda. They are willing to die for their country, beliefs, and culture. How is that any different than the cliche "support our troops". Yeah I hope they don't die, but I do not support what they are doing in Iraq or Afghanistan for that matter. It's easy to buy into propoganda especially when you are exposed to it every day.

If you take away their power and food they are just going to panic and be more willing to fight to survive. Just more propaganda for them to feed to their people on "How the world is so afraid of their military that they are trying to starve them into submission." The US should allow countries to look out for their own interests and not those of regional security. No one is allowed to have a military that can challenge the United States because it is questioned as to what purpose it could serve other than attacking it's neighbors.
