Eh, you can't really translate a single grade average into GPA. Do you have different grades for different subjects or do they just give you a single grade for the year.

Like if they just switched overnight? We would probably do very poorly, I don't think we have very high standards in America. I got like a 3.4 GPA in Highschool, not the greatest but I was quite a slacker and often didn't do homework. My Freshman year of college I got a 3.35 average which is pretty good, considering I took Calc I and Calc II, glad I got those over with. I also was second in the most promising Freshman Chemists amongst a poll of the Chemistry Faculty.

Well first of all Your right Romans were not athiest they belive in false gods for things much like the Greeks. Second the Romans didi not compile the Bible. Well I have had braces for three and a half years now, and "should" get them off this summer. I know it will all be worth it, but you know what really bugs me? I had braces during elementary school for at least two years and yet I had to get them again...

I think fascist is a buzz word that is thrown too much. Although I agree with a lot of what you said - why would you consider it a move towards being a fascist state? Bush believes he is above the law, above the constitution. The government has the ability to datamine all forms of communication. The internet is the last barrier in the fight against tyranny, once the corporations have the ability to charge websites to be in the fast lane, the independent news sources will not be able to compete against corporate news sources online. It is not limited to the United States, globalists have already united Europe into one economic and political union and the same will be true for America, Canada, and Mexico.

I feel that America is headed in the wrong direction. Neither Democrats or Republics have the answer to all the problems facing our country. I think they are working together to make America a Fascist State. Democrats are pushing forward the Socialist agenda with large government programs that end up keeping tabs on your personal details making you easier to track. Republicans are pro big buisness and are using their Christian base right now to stay in power. I wouldn't be surprised if the next Democratic President end up pushing gun control laws "to fight terrorism" or "protect families". The corporate news media is pushing us into this dichotomy with only these two choices as possible options. Fox News may be bad, but the New York Times is just as deplorible. Fight for the Constitution!

I'm agnostic. To me it is illogical to devot much thought or give much credence to something that does not effect my day to day life at all. My motto is to be objective. I am certainly not my own god.

Alchohol makes college parties ten times better than what they would be dry, in fact they wouldn't really be worth going to without. In highschool I never drank any alchohol and therefore never felt the effects of alchohol so I never learned how to drink responsibly. The first time I drank at college was way to much and I had to learn the hard way what my body could and couldn't take. There is alot of other things that can be more harmful to your health that I will never do, like smoking or voting Republican.

Of course there is a taste difference. I prefer Pepsi to Coke, Coke tastes fine but I hate the amount of fizzing.
