  1. Goes to the list of stupid fm methods. Too many breaks, so it's slower than any method where you start firemaking at bank and ending there. It's also more clicks/money than the method with varrock tele which gertjaars was doing (should be the same speed).
  2. Yeah, they do it.
  3. No, you don't. As already said you can use the cloudbrowse app which supports java. I tryed it on my iPod 1G months ago. It wasn't good for playing but with an iPad it might be good with some practice.
  4. Serialheated is pure F2P btw.
  5. With effigys ofc.
  6. Doesn't look like an April Fools. That's not Jagex style (and would be really boring).
  7. You're wrong. RuneScape also uses a client-server scheme. The bot detection is server-side and analyszes the data sent by your client. As a bot programmer you don't have a clue how the detection works and you focus on a human-like behavior. There are also bots which don't use IDs in the client and focuses on color schemes. I guess Jagex analyzes each bot around and trys to work on a script to detect each one. That script probably can then also detect other bots which work similiar to those they have access to. A good way to get rid of bots are updates. They could change small things (move a rock a little bit, change a color a little bit, switch IDs, change positionings of buttons and NPCs a little bit). A human-being can easily deal with these changes but a bot would have a problem at that point. So players who can't deal with them are obviously botting. Some of these changes might be possible without updating the game client.
  8. It's not randomly. It's just when your offer gets updated you will be put at the end of the queue. Example: Two people (A and B) want to buy 5 cabbages. Assume they are the only ones with the highest offer in ge. And A put the offer in before B. So when the next guy wants to sell his lovely 2 cabbages A will get these 2 and will be put at the end, that means behind B. So B will get the next cabbage(s) although A still has 3 cabbages left to buy.
  9. He could just buy at 91 and sell at 94 to beat you. You get it by making the best waka at edgeville. After making a few urns you can get new clay and repeat.
  10. I think you're talking about:
  11. Because lots of large consistent errors make a pattern Just because there are large errors it makes a pattern? I can think of a few other companys with big bugs in their game(s). And I still don't see any reason for these bugs. Yeah, we make bugs to get angry costumers but we will have more gps we could have cheated the easy way. But hey, a loss by quitting players is always welcome. Yeah, you're right, dear reader. I think this thread is stupid.
  12. I would laugh if you really think that. Maybe a quote from the QA devblg: (Link: http://services.runescape.com/m=devblog/view_post.ws?post_id=25&page=6 )
  13. A german community JMod said the bug could happen because the testing environment has a slightly different setup than the servers we were playing on shortly after the update. Also note there were several different changes with this update which might were tested in different testing environments. I don't see any good argument why this should be an inside job. It looks more like a bug with a very complex background.
  14. All normal xp multipliers are overwritten by the bonus xp multiplier.
  15. Meeting them never came with advantages though. I did change it via FunOrb. Don't do that! It makes Jagex think that funorb was a success. Funorb is already dead. ;)
  16. Maybe you should check your math, 20 gp each coal?
  17. I did around 90-99 mining on PvP worlds, specifically Brazilian-language PvP worlds. I don't speak Portugese, but it doesn't make a differenceyou can still do all the basic functions that you'd do anywhere else. Honestly, I think it's an excellent idea and I highly recommend it. I did it for well over a year and never died once (and have probably been assaulted at least 80 times) because I kept about 4-5 salmon in my inventory at all times, and that was always enough to get me from the bank to the Mining Guild or vice-versa (I had roughly 58-60 HP). I have never seen more than 4 people there at one time (usually 2-3, but pretty often I'd actually be by myself), and anyone who does mine there is clearly not botting. And of course, the guild is a safe zone. :P tl;dr version: Mine in a Brazilian PvP world with some salmon and you'll be fine. Did you realize there was a big update on Feb 1st? There are no PvP worlds anymore...
  18. Super heating Iron is much faster I believe, although must more click intensive. You can do both alching and heating. I have a video of it: It's not perfectly done and might have changed but it should still be the best. It was like 140k magic exp per hour (read the description of the video).
  19. I'm curious why they don't switch to the earth altar, it's better exp and money.
  20. Can someone tell me if wines worked in the past xp weekends? I guess they don't change anything, the dev diary looks like the last one.
  21. You can take up to 27 urns with you when powertraining. They should last over an hour, maybe even over two hours. You don't have to return to bank to stock up with new urns. Just take them with you when you start powertraining and stay there as long as you want, even if your urns are all used.
  22. You can easily buy them. ;) And for mining: Powertraining is almost no competition. Could be an option for wealthy players who don't care about profit.
  23. You can use the runes with the urns before you go fishing. And you don't have to go back to bank if you think it's a waste, just grab some urns before you go fishing and do aslong as you want, even if all urns are used.
