Level 99 Fletching On the Eve of my more memorable nights on Rs I finally checked off another 99. :thumbsup: Today was a crazy day... I stupidly let Lego9661 wear my partyhat :notalk: , haven't seen him since. It snowed like the [bleep]ens out here too. After work I finished off the 30k needed to level and now I'm trying to make some money back. If I still had my Partyhat I'd be able to have traded upto a better [colo=red]Partyhat[/color] before the night was through, but since I lost the first, I must start back up again with only 25m. Sure it's a little something, but I'd prefer to have my perdy hat in my bank. Suprisingly, I was more affected when I was hacked in rsc and lost my brand new rune chain and legs... To be honest not much has changed, all I know now is there' someone out there with no friends, a ruined reputation, and my partyhat... :anxious: And why not? Meh, I'll move on if the feller doesn't give back. Just knowing that he and Bbq will have only eachother to talk to until everyone else here has quit gives me a little piece of satisfaction. I had lent ti to him a coupletimes, he asked for a pic of it once. I said okay, lent it to him and he logged shortly after. I checked his highscores for exp. and checked it again a little whileago and he gained ~100k experience. That means he logged, went to a diff world, and is around no more... The first trade... Lego being an x-loggin nubcake in the trade screen to boot... Hope the little pixel hugger is happy. I'm sure he is because who wouldn't enjoy a free partyhat? Party has been postponed for a bit. Maybe 1 hour or so. Reason: Lego9661 has run off with my partyhat and I was a little preoccupied to fletch. But, he has my hat, friends off and has gained atleast 120k experience since he logged out with my hat. I've given him a chance to explain himself, but if he lives up to the stereotpyical pixel-hugging noob. It won't be coming back to me. I'll reply when I'm nearing the level more. That's what I'm leaving the night at. Had some good times, but today was really quiet. I watched a movie and did a little stringing. Suprisingly, today and yesterday was a snow day. We had not even 30cm of snow -.- yet I guess it handicapped my area enough to call the day off. Supposed to get mroe tonight, so if it continues I'll get level 99 earlier in the day where more of you all would be on... I think... :-s As for the party... I was thinking of having it in Seers on top of the Spinning Wheel House, but seeing as how it's a quest-needed area I may have to think elsewhere... Edge may be the place to be. I'll also have to sort out a drop-list, eh? A party isn't a party without free stuff... So, tomorrow is in question, but I'll get it by on Thursday for sure. : Later

It depends on how fast I can finish 99 fletching and getting the last 3-4m to trade my green partyhat for a red. Red/green outfit all the way... :thumbsup:

:-$ I might go for another 99 right away but I usually get a little confuzzled after I finish one of my goals. After 99 Cooking I did little to nothing for 2 weeks wondering what I should be doing. Meh, I've got a goal after the goal this time. : I'm pretty sure working my way up to a Red Partyhat is worth 99 fletching and cooking a couple of times over. :thumbsup:

A good guide deserves a good bump. I've followed this guide's principles for a good while now. Closing in on 99 fletchign now too. : I use somehwhat the same invent as Federalais2 posted. It seems moving the mouse up and down requires less movement than side to side.

Thanks for the replies. : I'm not too sure if I'll have a big party this time. I think I do have some drops that I can shell out but if I do it'll be a ill prepared event in Edge. I'm considering dropping my infinity boots because I want to get full infinity + book + masters wand from the mage training arena and I don't want to have a head start or anything... Found out I'll need 2475 Telekinetic points, 2725 Alchemist points, 25500 Enchant points, and 2475 Graveyard points. Should be a fun little thing to do... Might get some more stringing done today, not expecting much though.

In my time spent at barrows, I've had a RoW on for about 1/4ths of it. It doesn't make a difference I can conclude. I took a break from barrowing one day and put on my RoW to go slayering. After a day of slyaing I suited up again and accidently left it on. A couple hundred trip later I relized I had it on instead of my RoL. I did happen to notice that the RoW doesn't affect the drops put into the chest because those couple hundred runs were nothing different from the other few hundred runs I've done.

Level 98 Fletching I missed the picture... :oops: I finally was able to level after being only 200k experience away for over a week, I got it today. Thanks to those of you who sent up a message when I got it in Edge tonight. At the end of tonight I plan on being 15k stringings away from 99. Might get more done tonight but it depends how good the movie is... : I've also tossed a couple million in the coffers in Miscellania, I'm planning to check it around New Years although I've never been good at this patience thing. Levl 40 Hunting Thanks Lalala for the pics and I remember seeing you ingame too Harding. :mrgreen: Thanks for the replies. Today I took it a little easy and went the the Swamp Lizards to get from levels 31-40 hunting. I didn't even get close to fletching today... Maybe I willl eventually finish this fletching goal that's been looming over my head for so very long. Tomorrow I don't have work, soccer or h/w so I should be able to get some tiem in fletching. I wouldn't mind getting level 98 tomorrow. Plus, seeing as how the partyhat prices have been dropping lately, when I sell the bows I should be VERY close to adding the cash to get a red. At most it'd be 1-3 days to get some more money so I can still have some money to play with after the hat trade-up. Later Jimmy

Level 2 Hunting Level 1600 Total Level 30 Hunting Me and Lalala, seperated by a single experience point :mrgreen: Well, with the release of hunting today I decided to bench my fletching goal for a day or two so I can get a couple levels. Level 30 came quite fast. I leveld at the exact same time as Lalala7324 as we had a little race to which I showed some mercy and waited a few minutes to get the last bird. : I found trapping birds and alching to be a good combo which gt me from 10 or 15 to level 20 easily. Tomorrow, if I get on, I'll probably try and string a couple thousand bows before I get sidetracked. I'm also considering moving my goal of 1600 total (which you see I already got, to 1700 or 1800. :thumbsup: Looked at what I'd need to level and found either would be fairly easy. Later, Jimmy

Gawks at Vapours cracker, white and like 75m...- Yeh, I've heard of a couple people with partyhats in f2p. I met Fhaz in edge when I was still a f2p and he showed me his partyhat set with a cracker to boot. He had kept it since early, near the drops anyways. It's not a rare thing to see. I occasionally go to world 1 behind the wall where people sell od armours and a few show up... mostly trying to merchent off me though. :

Time to String... Today I was ble to finish cutting up my yew logs. I'm over half-way done my goal and it is time for the fun to begin... strigning! :thumbsup: I know stringing isn't near the most popular thing to be doing in runescape, but I've always had a little thing for it. As you can see, I've strung a few already. Since I can string 3k/hour consistently, I only have 7-8 hours left to go until I get level 99 fletching. Depending how much time I'm willing to put into it tomorrow, I may be able to get level 98 and 99 this weekend! I'm really anxious to get another 99 under my belt... Later! Jimmy
