Do it. It feels so good to have an immense amount of wealth eqiuped. Plus, with the runecrafting you've been doing it won't be hurtin you for training. You'll have a lot of money to come still. : Have fun on another 24 skill day if it does happen. Seems pretty crazy to me. :XD:

I agree with many people before me. SS was not a neccesity for RS. I was (<-- Past tense, as of this morning :anxious: ) a user of the program and thought it was great, but I had began to drift away from it. I have to admit that I was only using it for the IRC chat because I found the other clients a little troublesome to use. Now that it's been deemed illegal I don't think it will affect many people other than the chat system it provided. I know I'll go download the mirc client now and get that cooking which I suggest to all other ex-SS users to do. This update doesn't have to be a big problem with anyone if people weren't so lazy as to download Firefox and a mirc client.

Had 70 when I was rcing but I sold them all about 1 monh ago. Back up to 2 (killed lurers : ) and managed to get the stones from keys for 5 more. Usually I have about 10 for normal gameplay, but when runecrafting I like to add another 50 or so.

What I've yet to see in these replies are a couple of things. The first is f2p ---> p2p. I know when I first became a member I didn't know Ardounge from the Wildy, yet I had played Runescape for 4 years up to that point. The 700 skill total might support this case a little bit. The second is, what is this "intelligence" everyone is talking about? It doesn't say anywhere that the amount of knowledge someone has ingame has to be varied. I'm willing to bet this guy knows PC like the back of his hand. He doesn't need to know anything else if that's where he has the most fun. I know I'm not willing to train some skills because they lack behind some others. Where's the point in that? Ever think that this guy doesn't find the other aspects of the game fun? Doesn't look like you did and calling him an idiot because he hasn't experience other aspects of a game is pathetic. This knowledge thing is one of my pet peeves from the TIF community. The typical case is people praise low level skillers, yet if someone is a high combat with a low skill total they get generally ignored. The thing people don't relize (Or don't immediately recognize) is that Runescape has so many players because it doesn't cater to one specific person. People can skill, pk, combat train, or just simply socialize. Why those different people get treated differently is kind of dumb. The last bit ties into this thread because it's kind of pointing out how people neglect certain aspects of the game and the people playing it.

End of Day #5 Levels: From 73 --> 75 Experience Gained: 178,560 Bodies Crafted: 960 Another busy day. Did some family stuff, everyone went to bed and I did a little crafting. Sicne tomorrow/today is Christmas, I'm thinking I won't be on too much tomorrow/today. It was pretty lonely in Al Kharid, I was running beside Freshwacka a lot, but was generally ignored whenever I tried to speak. : I didn't even get a random to liven thigns up. End of Day #4 Levels: From 70 --> 73 Experience Gained: 261,888 Bodies Crafted: 1408 Busy day today. I managed to get level's 71 and 72 before I went hunting for the 3 levels needed for falconry. I put a little time while walking back and forth from bank to tannery into listing all the crafting levels achieved so far. I wanted to finish todya with level 72 done, but I guess level 73 will suffice. I passed 1m experience in crafting, something that's always fun to do. Also calculated it out that I have over 16m in to-be-alched bodies at the moment. Can't wait until I have over 28m in to-be-alched bodies. : Thanks for the read. Jimmy

End of Day #3 Levels: From 67 --> 70 Experience Gained: 220,410 Bodies Crafted: 1184 Christmas break has started for me today. After a long day (including my annual haircut :wink: ) I spent a little time on RS. Had a good time talking on #tip-it and fell into the growing habit of run, tan, craft, run, tan, craft etc. Might get a little time on tomorrow, but not too much as I'll be working for 9 hours then my family is coming over from the mainland to spend Christmas with my parents, brother and I. Might even get level 75 if I can keep up the moderate pace I'm going at. : Thanks for the read. Jimmy

I think when used for slayer or trainging it's well worth the cost. If you don't mind spending the less than 300k every 15 hours it works out great. It's not a money loss because you can always sell it back for the (almost) exact same price plus the mon you lose on the recharges you can easily make back with drops. Guthans earns an A-Okay

i wouldn't get one personally, for fletching purposes only. i dont wanna have to type in a pin to access my bank. waste of time. You do it once when you log in and never have to touch it again until the next time you log in. Not worth it? I once put my account to sleep in Lumby and woke up in Fally West. Banks pins saved me from losing my green partyhat Only to have it taken by a friend..., there's no way you can be so lazy as to not want to enter it once per log in. :-s Nice little warning Leester. End of Day #2 Levels: From 63 --> 67 Experience Gained: 177,444 Bodies Crafted: 954 Spells the end of a short day of RS. Been really bogged down with some English h/w but I managed to toss in over an hour of gameplay. Tomorrow is my last day before the x-mas break so I might get in a couple hours before the parties start. : Hoping to get to level 70 before x-mas day. I'd try to go for 75 by then but I've been scheduled in to work 18 hours on Saturday and Sunday at work. Some good money so I'm not really complaining. :) Thanks for the read. Jimmy

In theory this can be an effective scam but knowing skili pretty well he isn't one of those lifeless pixel-hugging kids. He'll never run off with someone's rares like some of my other friends decided to... Ever since Swamp posted his rant on the subject of WoT's people have been giving skili a hard time. I've talked with skili and he expects that this always was going to receive criticism but it's pretty obvious what someone would say and why people keep saying? It's beyond me. It's been stated lending to the WoT is something someone decides to do. He's not on of the people that have taken this idea and hounded people to lend him their rares and then decide, once they get ther hands on them to log out. Skili's is different because of the fact he doesn't exactly ask people to lend them their rares. People decide to lend them to him. I always see him in Edge with some new headpeice from somoen I've never met before that's oen thing I find kind of cool about this thing. All told, sure you can be skeptics, but you don't have to spam him up with messages about scamming and trying to play the tip.it community. I give my word that Skili won't scam someone, but even if you don't take my word then simply ignore the WoT. It's not a hard thing to do it is only one topic... -.-

Thanks for the replies. I'm sure I'll start crafting on the way back to the bank. Didn't last night as I was doing a lot of homework so all I wanted to do was click wait 10 seconds, click wait 10 seconds, etc. The load of 18k hides I have now will get me to level 77. After that the next load might get me to 84. If I get on later tonight I'll update with how things are going.

I'm going for another set of 99's this time. As some of you may know, only hours before I reached 99 Fletching I had my Green Partyhat borrowed-without-intent-to-return. That was kind of a downer to me, but my getting 99 fletching helped things smooth over. Getting 99 fletching I also decided that rares will be taken whether we can avoid it or not (It was my fault I admit it), but skills can only be erased if we break one of those 13 simple rules. In 5 years of playing and having no black-marks against me, it's safe to say I'll be around for a while. So, lets get skilling! My original plan after getting fooled was to make a bunch of money. I manged to make a considerable amount in the less than month since it happened and I've decided a couple more 99's are in order. Magic has always been a favourite of mine so it was first on my list, but crafting also came into the equation. Fletching and cooking I was 7,005th and 5,016th respectively to get level 99. Well, 5,000 people! Might as well have stayed level 1... nah, I like it. This is why I'm wanting to get 99 crafting, so I'm part of a smaller group of elites you might say. I'll be craftingkind of simply. I've bought the first round of Green Hides. And I'm "happily" tanning them at the moment. Here's a little fact list of the goal I've laid down for myself. Crafting Beginning Experience: 372,553 (Level 63) Experience: 1,210,855/13,034,341 Level: 75/99 Green Dragon Hides: 18,119/204,224 Green Dragon Hide Bodies: 4,506/68,075 Levels Level 64 Level 65 Level 66 Level 67 Level 68 Level 69 Level 70 Level 71 Level 72 Level 73 Level 74 Level 75 Magic Starting Experience: 5,409,458 (Level 90) Experience: 5,409,458/13,034,341 I haven't decided how to train this yet, but I'll probably alch all of my bodies from crafting, get full Infinity at the Mage Training Arena, and do a few days of Pest Control. I'm sure barrows will fit in there someplace as well. Money At the moment, my bank value is in the mid-30 millions. Ofcourse I'll be losing some money with all of this crafting/magic that I'm going to be doing so I'll need to make some money in between the chunks of crafting and magic. I've never really been one to merchant before (bought Yellow partyhat or 150m cash then traded up to a green with 15m cash added to the yellow. None of that money was merchanted for.) but I think after being scooped for (at the time) 185m, I deserve to merch a little. I'll mostly be doing dragon bones, green dragonhides an maybe some blues. I'll focus on them since it is kind of confinient with the stuff I'll be doing. My overall goal will be a 2 santas and 20-30m to do with what I may. I'll update my bank value every week or so. There are three particular things that really Grind My Gears. They are mostly types of people and what they do... The first is those people that call you by combat level as opposed to the name. How ignorant are htese people? "Hmm... he has a username... Hey! Hey 100, you buying ---?" Second, peddlers. Your minding your own business, selling nats in Edge and some little fella walks up... --------- wishes to trade with you. --------- wishes to trade with you. --------- wishes to trade with you. --------- wishes to trade with you. So, you trade and they pop up a dragon long. "You buy? 120k! you buy? 120k!" Thirdly, have you ever noticed when using the official forums it seems no one can read? The title woould read "Buying 10k Natures 300ea" The first post by someone other than the topic athor goes something like, "I'll buy 4k 300ea." Or, the people that seem to disregard any price set by the author. Take the example I've provided with you from earlier today. This stuff drives me mad. This is an exerpt from my thread I created today selling rune essence. This is the first post where I statet my rules etc., the guys response (the response was on the second page), and theresponse was followed up with the appropriate response (in my view anyway. : ). and that's what really Grind My Gears.

I'm Jimmyd17. I've been playing on/off since mid-2001. I live in the PST timezone and had at one point, been fairly rich in RS, enough to buy 99 smithing, prayer, construction and crafting, but it left me... Snice then I've been playing a little bit less. My all time favourite past time is barrows, having made over 140m profit. With my love of barrows came a love of magic : and with magic came alching and with alching came fletching, my second 99. My other is Cooking. Nice to see some good intro's here too.

Slayer Dart Might try the Salamander sometime soon. Seems like it could really do some damage. :-s

Level 90 Magic Level 82 Range Playing a little casually lately. Not too motivated and have a little h/w I need to catch up on, but I have found the time to put in a couple of hours at Pc tonight. Results in those two levels of mine. I'm thinking of going for 94 mage via Pc and then mayeb do some Mage Training Arena for full infinity, book, and masters wand. Bye...
