hmm Ctrl+alt+del the webcomic?? I like the colors more for this one... I think you should just go ahead and make a whole template\sprite set... that way if you ever wanted to go into graphics for a computer game or somthing then you would have some stuff already made... Or you could just pop it onto a resume' or something I would encourage you to make a tileset\sprite set though :thumbsup:

+1 to that... I made a killer hand then completely bailed my stupid attempt for energy... was sopposed to be a hand crackleing with energy... but it failed pretty badly :? :wall:

Ugg that thing is bs man... If you want to make a serious game you need to use C++ Java or flash though the last two aren't the best options imo... No programs like rpg maker will get the results...

mm I like this new one... I think the yellow'ish color and the black along with the highlights go well together! Good job imo... and i normally don't like this kind of sig :D :wink:

hey, dude... calm down.. he just didn't know that you did animation... No one is saying you can't do it... He just didn't know... If you can do animations then great, don't get all defencive mate... Anyway, I like the style but the colors i like less then the first one (or two :?: ) that you did... It's still a wip right? the grass and then texture of the dirt aren't as polished as most of your pieces but i expect you just haven't done that part yet...

I don't like how the far right looks like the sun is shineing on it... imo it should all be a tad more reddish.... but looks nice anyway :thumbsup:

Made me smile at that one :D Imo I prefer renders taht are brushed (not sure if thats the term) into the bg a bit more... your render while the colors go well together imo needs to be a bit more brushed in... but thats just me I think it looks good either way...

Few crits then ill start drooling The edge of the see looks all flat... not sure if you would want to change it... its more a matter of prefernce Lips need quite a bit of work... they are too fat Hair needs to be more brown like it is right by the face and less greenish as it is when it is falling down her back Anatomy is great imo... Nice skin tone and colors While your leaves are passable they could be better, they all look a bit flat Rocks in bg are nice, but nothing amazing Clounds in sky are all rather high... I would drop some down to the top of the moutain and have them slightly in front.. Other then that its really nice! When i first saw it I was like... What is she doing though? Stripping? going for a swim? showing off for some tourists? Maybe your next picture could convey what the picture is about a tad better :wink:

She's bow legged... Might want to fix that first off alos the feet should be more like... instead of how yours look

Basically the game is centered around zelda style movement... Though it is free range with the mouse... Four sprites two sides one front and back... Working on the sides atm... I don't think the back will be that hard... Then i have to start on movement... Ok i tried out that tutorial and my finished work isn't great or anything... but it is better then what i did have... sprite restrictions are Mine might be a tad smaller or larger... just trying to get the angles down atm...

I'm not covering up at all... I have been talking with him about it for awhile and I am not sure if he understands lol...

One thing you could do right off the bat is to shade above the cheaks (gosh can't spell tonight!) At the side of the nose and also the eyelids... You need to make the eyes look more closed in your drawing otherwise your character comes out looking asian... Teeth need a bit of work... I myself haven't attempted drawing teeth yet as I am still trying to get gums to look good... Hope i helped a bit :?

Ok, well i really screwed up this time :x Friend wanted me to help make him some sprites for a game. I am a decent artist and all so I said yes. ARRHHG HUGE MISTAKE! I can decorate sprites all day long, I can go around and make little fancy hats from all angles... I can edit sprites to make them do what I want... But i have no clue how to draw a decent looking sprite from 3\4 angles! Most of the time for games that aren't fully 3d the character is shown walking at a 3\4 angle... Meaning that the characters head is mostly shown along with 3\4 of his body... The far side of the face is normally made to look like the edge of a face and the eye is moved near the edge of that curve... I have looked at tutorials and gone all over sites that do this... Maplestory (deargodhelpme) gaia online (blah, why me?) and tons of doll sites (premade dolls that are just the anatomy)... I still cannot get that 3\4 angle... All my work looks like trash, its infuriating to know how somthing should look and knowing that I can do it in real life, but not being able to pixel somthing on the computer (and don't say scan it in my scanner hasn't worked in ages) Ok, now after all that here are the images I have been trying to do... First on on the left is the template that we and this other guy got... haven't popped in shadeing and whatnot yet... In the middle is that thing with the stick figures... I was trying to map out the anatomy of where the HELL everything would be... I failed miserbly and just managaed to make myself furious... Third try Meh, I am willing to spend as long as need be to get this thing finished... but atm... jeesh I am hopeless...
