im not crying over summoning, or its effects on wilderness (which doesnt exist) but i am worried that my favourite thing to do in runescape "cws" will be ruined lol, i should proof read before posting, like i said. im not saying(left out ING last time) you are crying. i agree, i love CW but, ruined? doubt... unless people get war tortises and flag hold. thanks, i am not complaining or saying the world is going to end, as ill be the first to admit, if someone shows me a good reason as to why summoning would be great in PvP then my opinion will be swayed The only creditable reason you've given for summoning not being a good PvP asset is that PvP is Player Vs Player, not Player+Familiar Vs Player+Familiar.

Well, summoning will give more strategy to the game during PvP. The lag may be an issue for 56k users but I believe that Jagex has thought this update through and through with the connection and game engine. I don't see how it ruins the fun. Gives people even more reasons to use summoning in PvP opportunities. Unequal distribution of power...huh? I guess barrows, Bandos, Ancient Magiks, Lunar Magic, etc., wasn't enough. Its not really an issue, if someone cannot afford to raise their summoning, thats their problem. You have to adapt to each situation. This seems like an arguement from a pure. You give up a part of combat or fail to raise it high enough, you suffer the consequences. A summoning pure seems highly unlikely to me, but thats just my opinion.

Its interesting but its not something I will want to focus on just yet. Charms are the biggest issue but it will just give me some motivation to train slayer later on. Can't wait to level it for atleast a minotuar and hopefully a Hydra someday.

It seems pretty cool but I lost my 50% growth puppy when I died :cry: Just wondering wether these animals will have some sort of function besides looking cool. Raising a gecko at the moment, 8% growth.

1. Don't think so. I believe all monsters in Runescape drop them. 2. Wilderness. There are 5 entrances that look like caves around the wilderness to go in for the Chaos Tunnels.

Well, you can do it if you want, but I prefer to live. Without the facemask, they hit constant 14s on me. Not to mention the drastically reduced combat stats You won't live long without one.

You do understand that all you have to do is renew the amount of time that your familiar is with you every 3 min.... Which is great and all but it uses your summoning points and unless you will take the time out of your routine of...lets say runecrafting, and recharge it, it seems a bit useless to have a summon for 15 minutes.

What do you mean by using the pouches? Like, making the summoning scoll things?

Lol, I freaked out until someone told me to read the last few sentences :XD: I bought 10k shards yesterday and thought I just lost 250k :cry: I still cannot see a huge profit from this until a higher level where you summons can stay around for..lets say an hour.
