On two seperate occassions it would seem that I have been hit through my teleports, resulting in my death. Once at Kalphite Queen (Who seems to be a lot tougher than she used to) who managed to combo me through my teleport, resulting in a humiliating death at the Camelot teleport spot. Just now had a similar situation at Tormented Demons where I was hit teleporting to Lumbridge when it appeared I was combo'd at that teleport spot. It doesn't seem to be my connection, my ping was relatively low in those worlds, ~38. I'm running on low detail, wireless 54mbs connection if that helps any. So have they changed the way teleports work because before it seemed to be relatively safe teleporting out, even while under fire or am I just the victim of my own carelessness?

The wyrm looks like a nice challenge...too bad all the crybabies and whiners are having a field day over it :rolleyes:

Range has minimal KO potential unless they lag/dc/mess up, especially at your level. The best thing to do would be to hybrid range with melee for KOs. At such a low lvl, you won't be dealing too much damage, mostly for fun rather than loot. That hp is rather...depressing in my opinion because you can die very easily. This is just my opinion from personal experience, you want as high range/mage as possible with HP in f2p and keep strength as high as possible without gaining a combat lvl with 40 attack for rune. Practice switching for KOs in duel area/wildy/npcs and such to make sure you're good. Just my 2 cents from experience.

Its how the game evolves. A few years ago, Skilling>Combat as your biggest money makers besides intelligent merchanting/staking. Now you have to kill big bad monsters to buy teh supplies to kill the big bad monsters better to get more supplies to kill them even more, then finally you can be socially accepted into the top tier of big bad monster killers and kill the biggest, baddest monsters while fighting off the same big bad monster killers trying to do the same things.

I figured it was because when you sign up for members, they already have some of your personal information. When I made my f2p account back in the day, I don't recall giving any information up. Guess its just easier to tell who is who considering there's money involved in members.

Yes, an EE would be a free shark every 5 minutes+super def potion as well. You should bring enough anti-poison doses to last an hour or so, possibly more. A decent ratio of 2:1 for brews if you plan on using them at all. My invo alternates every trip because I have change setups every so often. The guide on tip.it should give a jist of what you're trying to get. EDIT: Mystic boots should work as well

If you bring a BoB familiar, you could probably stock up on sharks/rocktails because while maging, you shouldn't take too much damage to be honest. Heal with guthans and only use food if you must.

I have to run an errand in an hour and halfish so I won't be ready till roughly 2 hrs :( Obby shield is just as good, same stats but +5 str and no need to buy anything.

It is kinda funny, i've only been to dk's one time and that ended up really bad with only 1 rex kill before i got piled by supreme and prime. At that time though i was low mage and melee's/hp with no experience. I have guthan's and a SOL to use and i can easily get a g shield if needed. I planned to use Fire Surge and im looking over the tip.it dk's guide right now, Thank you for the advice :) I wasnt sure if i should go with Tort then summon uni afterwords or what. Is there any replacement for brews:Rests? im pretty bad at remembering to restore after 3/4 brew sips lol If you want, I could hybrid for ya for a bit while you practice on Rex if you plan on solo mage. If you have something with better range defense than granite, take that instead.

I don't know if you're being serious or not, but it isn't fake. It didn't, it took 3 or 4 i believe. It isn't hard to shark brew and tank a few, but towards the last few specials they can't do much at all. Was joking lol Happen to need another lunar mage for splits? 97 mage so I can venge, energy transfer, health transfer...

If it is your first time, I'd suggest either solo maging Rex or hybrid Rex/Prime. To attempt to kill all three solo for the first time could lead to disaster if you do not know how to estimate the respawn times, how combat works down there, etc. You'd probably be better off with a Tortoise but that is just my opinion.

I always find it funny to see these players with ridiculously nice stats asking about some basic things :P No offense. Basically it depends on what you can afford/have/etc. I use Guthans+SoL+Granite Shield. Cape can be a skill cape/god cape/SW Cape. Heal with guthans, bring a 2:1 Brew:Restore ratio with some super anti-poison potions. A turtle will last ya a while, bring 2 spare pouches as well. If you do not use a fury/glory, bring an Arcane Stream from Dungeoneering to increase your magick damage. Fire Surge is the fastest. I've used Ice blitz/barrage before but you may run into issues if you do freeze him. Slayer dart works as well..but ultimately is weaker=slower=waste of time. Other than that, look at the guide on Tip.It's main site and adjust from there. Once you get the feel of it you'll learn what setup is best for you. If this is your first time, ALWAYS PRAY FROM MAGE. You will learn Supreme's and Prime's range and its better to play safe than sorry. Spot any white dots, make sure you are praying because you do not want to die down there. EDIT: Also, it might be worthwhile to bring a unicorn+scrolls instead.

Was a rather short and easy quest....and the experience from it was quite rewarding though. Gained 3 levels from it :mellow:

Ah, probably lol I haven't posted in this section in years and they've changed some things. The value is 29m, I'm seeing people trying to buy for as low as 25m and sell for as high as 30m but I sold these for 27.7m.

Depends on your preferred pking style. Are you going to mage/range hybrid? I think Karil's cbow is a tad out of date. You'd probably do more damage using diamond (e) or even dragonstone (e) bolts. I've been watching fights and most people are using mystic/black d hide at Edge. If you have a team to watch you or are very confidant, you could use karils or ahrims but that is pricy and you'll be a huge target :S As for pures, rushers, etc., avoid them if you can and get out of there quickly. Thats my 2 cents for now.

No one is at dragons for cash or pking there? You might be able to try some event based worlds like world 6 for BA and such. I'm sure someone is taking advantage of the faster respawns.

Started to try out Tormented Demons and after a few hours of ridicule, over crowding, and general displeasure with drops I find these beauties lying in the ashes. Solo'd so 100% profit for me. Also managed to nab and effigy and an elite clue with terrible results. Rate/Hate/Something that rhymes with hate and rate... Was also thinking about starting a blog but not sure how to go about it specifically. Any general tips on that?
