No, you don't have to do the parts in order. Also, you don't need the ring of visibility to enter the smokey well, all you need is a face mask. Just do the quest up to the point of looking into the mirrors you build in the desert then head east to the well.

Depending on how well you can kill them with your fists, there are a few on Entrana. You could also use prayer there and recharge at the altar if you have protect from melee.

Wow, congratz!! I do not know about slaying dark beasts but I do know that you only need full mourners gear to get into the area, once in you can equip/wear any armour you want (my experience is from doing ME part 2 quest).

Orange salamanders are very fast experience but there is not really a market for them, especially in the numbers you will be getting them. Just catch and release, you will get your level very quickly.

It can happen, it's rare though and you can just run and find them at a better spot if needed. What happens more often in my experience is that another brother spawns on the other side of a door you have just used to side step with. But again, just run if you can't work them into a safe spot. Your strategy is very good for saving potions by the way :D

Until the quest is completed, the only way to the elven lands is through the underground pass.

If you care about speed but not necessarily drops, go to the Ghouls just to the east of Canifis. They are really fast and will automatically attack you. You should not need much food, if any, at 79 combat. :D

Bloodvelds are perfect for this. Using the walls to block with, I'm sure you are familiar with that technique, will allow the accumulator to pick up arrows, knives, etc. It won't pick up all of them but you will retain most. :D
