  1. I use a d hally for a lot of slayer assignments when I want to train a melee stat rather than range. Some examples are Fire Giants, Black Demons, Greater and Lesser Demons, Hellhounds, Blue Dragons. Taverly dungeon, Brimhaven dungeon and the Ogre Enclave are all good spots for using your hally against these monsters. :) Edit: Here is a good guide to safespots for you to check out http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=373132
  2. Sure you can, I have seen much lower leveled rangers there.
  3. I run to the boat to Entrana from Draynor bank, glory back to Draynor and repeat. I haven't tried the balloon method but it seems like it might take longer than hoofing it from Draynor :)
  4. Could it be your thieving level? The quest requires level 42 I'm almost certain.
  5. I only know the answer to your second question. The stew effects your base experience not your altered experience so in your scenario the answer is 50. No restore potions necessary :) Good luck with the first bit, and let us know if it works.
  6. This is my question. Anyone have an answer? I don't doubt it to be true but I don't understand why it is true. The characters are better "fighters" when compared to other characters of their level. Say you compare two level 70's, one a pure and another a balanced build. The pure will most likely have 80 or 90 strength, having much more than the other character. In a fight, quick finishes and KO's are more important than surviving. Basically you can say that the combat system in unbalanced, strength having more of an impact in battles than attack and even more than defense. Ahaa, finally an answer. An imbalance is truly the only thing that makes sense, why the imbalance is another question, lol. :D Thank you.
  7. This is my question. Anyone have an answer? I don't doubt it to be true but I don't understand why it is true.
  8. Did you talk to Osman? If so, the garden is just southeast of the Al Karid palace.
  9. Heh, they did a good job with this animation - it really looks as if you are hauling around a big ole heavy anchor.
  10. Lol, back to the Grand Tree.
  11. Awwww, don't send him west :) Go east of Shanty Pass in the desert then follow directions above.
  12. Beckon first, then clap when Uri appears before you talk to him. :D
  13. Check the official Runescape forums, I think ZPS is organized there although they might be 110+. You will find other groups as well, and some are very well organized and don't require IRC and other traditional clan requirements. If I can find it I will post the ZPS quickfind code for you later.
  14. Achy log, wolf bones and bow string. Have a knife and, I think, a chisel in your inventory. You need to start Zogre Flesh Eater quest and get to the point in the quest where Grish will teach you how to make it though.
  15. That's how you get into the mining camp. Hang onto your metal key and wrought iron key after the quest, too. PS: You can get into most of the camp during the quest. Here is the Tip it guide. :D
  16. Have you done the Tourist Trap quest?
  17. I recall reading somewhere that the rate of prayer drainage increases with every brother you kill. If true, that probably accounts for the seemingly random nature of the drain rate.
  18. What happens when you get caught and what do you have in your inventory? The guard will mention why he is inspecting people but if you only have touch paper and plague sample he will not stop you from going through the gate.
  19. I'm not sure this is your question but if you give the three samples to the guys outside of the chemist's house to take to Varrock then you can carry the plague sample and touch paper to Guidor yourself, you won't be stopped.
  20. Wow, I think you were super lucky considering there are 6 different skills that may or may not be effected by any one stew of that color, and a range of -6 to +6 on top of that! You should kill Dag Kings non-stop with that luck :D
  21. A couple of stews?! It took me 2 days to get a stew that would raise my construction even 4 levels. It is an incredibly lengthy process to raise any stat by 6 via this method unless you just happen to hit it on the first few tries. Not to mention you have to mix the stew in the exact spot where you need the stat boost because you can only have one stew at a time with spices in it. You will be better served by getting your smithing level up and using a sure bet with dwarven or mature dwarven stout.
  22. Have a look at this guide, I think there is a Crandor and Karamja Volcano section: http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=373132
  23. With your prayer and range levels you only need range the demon from a distance with magic bow and good arrows while protecting from magic attacks. You will have no problems killing it as mcneilp said above. One hint though; you needn't be on Ape Attol when you equip the sigil to be teleported to the arena to fight the demon. Bank your gree gree and monkeyspeak amulet before teleporting so that if you die (in your case highly unlikely) you won't have to go through all the heartburn to get those items back. :D Good luck.
  24. I agree, cockatrice drop these really frequently - don't forget your mirror shield! More frequently then Hobgoblins? Much more frequently :)
  25. Actually you can use a knife and it is faster than the mortar and pestle in my opinion.
