I was just about to post a post in the topic about the future updates for 2007saying that I'd expect an unique drop for the dark beast. Until I realised: "Hey, maybe does the dark beast have an special drop, but has nobody ever noticed, because nobody kills them!" So could it be possible that Jagex has secretly given the dark beasts a special drop, without noticing us? I'd if I was Jagex. But hey, I'm not Jagex. But my whole theory is more or less build upon the thinking of mine that nobody kills them. But is that even true? I know they don't have good rewards, actually quite bad for such a monster, are high leveled, and demands a whopping level 90 slayer! But maybe some people are killing them, just because they can, and I don't know it. Discuss.

I partly agree. Yes, any minigame, and the whole game in itself, is designed to have fun. But IMHO the 'funfactor' increases when there is something to show off that you have had fun is this minigame. Just like the golden armour in CW. But the rewards of BA are quite contradicted to that. They only give you something that is good, so ask you to put time in it, not necessarely you have had fun with it. So after you have had your fun, and finally got all the items, there is nothing to play for anymore. So IMHO there should be some purely decorative reward that costs a LOT of points.

No, no, no. RCPKing IS fair! YOU stepped into the wilderniss to craft those runes. Then the PKer comes, and tries to kill you. That is perfectly right, as it is the wilderniss after all! Ofcourse, those little kiddos with only such a low total level is only freaking the heck outta you, without getting any rewards. So what? Don't go in the wilderniss, or take good armour and weapons with you! Yeah, that are all the things that are against RC PKing. Big deal. Sure you don't like it. But everything comes at a price. I'm 100% pro RC PKing. *brings anti-flame shield out* ;)

Gheesh! You rangers just got an upgrade to your accumulator so it will retrieve over 80% of your shot arrows for you. And you still complain...

I was doing FT1. That mortifus something guy told me to get 3 items that I needed to take to the nature altar. One of it was a crushed gemstone. Heck, just a simple crushed gemstone! I've cut gems myself, hoping I'd fail and crush them. Heck, just when you want to fail, you don't fail -.- Spend half an hour in W2 trying to buy them. Big suprise that nobody has them... I've spend a couple of days getting that darn gemstome. Untill the day my membership ran out. So I'm still don't have that crushed gemstone.

Yep. And that is the aspect that makes it a great minigame in my opinion. You must have a good team. And that rocks.

I don't think it will have an really big impact on the rune plate market. Most of the people who wear rune plate's are F2P, so they don't get affected by this. And for P2P there are already even better alternatives. Besides that, IMHO a rune plate will be much easier to get, just go to world 2, or any F2P world with much people in it, and you can buy you're rune plate in a few minutes. And you won't get an granite body that easy. EDIT: I just saw that the granite body needs 50 defense and 50 strength. And a rune plate only needs 40 defense. So the granite body ÃÆÃâÃâís better, but it won't take over the rune plate.

That would certainly be nice. But I can't really imagine how that could happen. And what kinda skill it would be...

That game looks pretty cool. Maybe download it tomorrow. :) Anyway, I looked at the site, and I saw queuing lines for servers that are full. That would work pretty well for RS I think. Besides that, ofcourse random dungeons, and bigger bosses.

I've thought about it recently, and came to the conclusion there are no really logical skills to be released anymore. So I thought up the miniskills. Miniskills are also shown on the skill page, and do count for your total level. However, the skill cap would be at only level 50, and much harder to raise then for example cooking is to level 50. So compare it this way: It would cost about the same time/money/afford to get an 'normal skill' to level 80 as it would cost to level an miniskill to level 50. With these miniskills, there are much more possibilities, because there are still cool things to be implemented, but they simply don't fit in an existing skill, and it is to small for an whole new skill. So for example: -playing music instruments -tailoring -well, I'm to lazy to think of more, but I'm sure there are a lot more possibilities with miniskills.

What the heck?! I do complain about this update. So I'm a rule breaker? Gheesh. Besides, you comparison is ridiculous. Banning SS is a hella lot different then banning ALL, yes ALL you said, autoers and scammers quit. Autoing and scamming is always been clearly illegal. Using 3rd party clients is now, but its definately not always been clear. Autoing and scamming gives you an unfair advantage over the normal people. Banning 3rd party clients is because some people MIGHT be getting in people who courage them to break a rule. This is definately the worst update ever. I thought 2007 started awesome, according to their BTS. But they messed it up directly :( SS had also an really cool screenshot taker, allowing you take take screenshots really fast. Perfect for TET events. Oh, and for the people who said SS gives you an unfair advantage: So basically it's only for 10 years old who don't know how to handle such things. Oke, its good to help these guys. But don't let the whole rest of the people suffer under it.

If you have done MEP2, RFD and DT, this quest should be possible as well, also for the lower levels out there.

Looks like an really awesome month! I'm really exited about the Barbarian Assault, the pinguin thingie and the high level quest. :thumbsup: for Jagex!

I really dunno whether I'd report them. It would be more a question for me if they still would be friends. But I highly doubt if they would. But that also depends if they IRL friends, friend known by another online game, or friends from RS.

Hmm, then I'll make it e/10 And a 2.7 seems reasonable for this thingie. I got it today, just because I have to own all the holiday items. Destroyed it 3 seconds after I got it... -.-

Barbarian assault is one thing we know for sure. I'm really surprised what it's gonna be like. And quests, lots of quests, as Jagex gives us at least one quest every month. Hopefully 2007 brings us also finally a use for bird eggs...

To be honest, it hurts my eyes. There are just too much numbers on such a small area. Sorry.
