  1. I can't really see why people get themself cleaned anyway? Lets say you start with 20m, and you stake 1m at a time. You loose 19 times? Why would you wanna stake another time so you can get yourself cleaned? I'd always stop at that point, because making money again with some cash is sooo much easier without it. So I'd never get myself cleaned by staking. However, if I'd loose a big amount of money, I'd probably log off for the rest of the day, and start over again the next day.
  2. Nice read. To be honest, I didn't find it thÃÆÃâÃâát hard to understand. Except for that first paragraph with the correlation between fishing XP and cooking XP. I'm quite curious about that, so does anyone care to explain that one.
  3. I used almost the same method, but I fished in Barbarian Village, and teleported to Varrock. Then bank in the west bank, and run back to your fishing spot. Works as well. I dunno what is shorter, but you use less laws.
  4. Wait a sec. You say that you are hardly enough on to play, but you got yourself 74 hunter and 82 farming? :-s But gratz on levels up anyway :
  5. Really good guide. I'm eagerly waiting for the tips on the PKing itself, that would be the most usefull. :)
  6. Hey he just called me a loser! Did he call me a loser?! I think you're fairly wrong there... my runescape life and home life is so much different... I dont think you should say *People who play runescape are loners*.. It's an unfair representation to most of the runescape community. A loner is a way different than an introvert. There is nothing wrong with being an introvert, there is something wrong with the the most people who think that being extrovert is better then introvert. Therefore I agree with Ginger Warrior.
  7. It was a nice read, and a good article. But it seems to miss a real point that is made somewhere. Dunno... However, if the point was 'its all about the levels', I don't really agree. It's all about fun.
  8. Good article. I know this small bit is out of context, but just wanted to say: That's where I don't really agree. I do have some people on my friend list, but only 2 of them actually still play. Besides I play quite some time with chat off. I play RS not for chatting or something, just for fun. And fun does sometimes include for me excluding contact with other people. However, I don't have a problem at all. I barely play 2 hours a week.
  9. I hope on something wearable, and specifically something wieldable. Then I'm a happy man. :)
  10. I happen to be twelve. People have to stereotype twelve-year-olds, don't they? >> A stereotype is always generally speaking. Which means there are always exceptions. Don't get offended by it, deal with it. You know just as me that we don't mean people like you. But well, other people.
  11. It took me around 6 month's to discover that PKing is Player Killing. So I'll sign up for that one.
  12. I can't really say about PKing, because I don't PK, but I do notice that high level F2Pers are normally quite mature, or at least polite. Something I can't say from low level F2Pers. Which is just about the whole F2P all together.
  13. 2 dragon chains, I'd say. I don't think they put in new armour. Just increased the chance for the better rewards, like the dragon chain.
  14. On wednesday the 14th of Februari, Jagex has released the BETAversion of Runescape translated into German. Time for a discussion. Was this a good move from Jagex? Or will it 'destroy' even more of the community? How will this affect our gameplay? What do you think? My opinion: From the view of Jagex, this is a brilliant step. They open up a whole new market, whereas Germans did tend to play not as much Runescape as Swedish or Dutch people do. By releasing it in German, they can earn much, much more, and grow even bigger. That's kinda obvious, I must say. But what it will do to the community is far more interesting. For the first time, much people will not be able to understand this new German players. Where first the Swedish, Finnish and Dutch people had to learn English, to understand the game, and therefore being able to interact in English, this new generation can play without understanding one single word of English. So I do think there will be 2 kinda communities. One 'old' and 'normal' community, and a new, German one. And later if Jagex releases Runescape also in even more languages, even more communities will be added. I do also think that these new communities will develop there own new trading world, etc etc. Although world 1 and 2 will still be in use. Besides that, I think it will be kinda strange. Untill now I could always ask, and even more or less demand from a player to speak English to me. But now there is this knowledge that I simply canÃÆââ¬Å¡Ãâôt understand some people. Feels a bit weird. Well, whatÃÆââ¬Å¡Ãâôs your opinion?
  15. Yeah, quite cool this. Sorry I dont want to reply to everyone with quotes. But a few things that need to be clarified. Dutch is NOT a dialect of German. Dutch is as much related to German as it is to English For Dutch people English is by 150% (yeah, thats a random guess) easier to learn, read and speak. I havent met a single person on my school, and just about anywhere, for whom German was easier than English. Oh, and why they made it for German and not for Dutch: RuneScape is pretty easy for a normal Dutchie. But as far as I know it isn't that easy for Germans. I've met a LOT of Dutchies, but the Germans I met I can count on one hand. So why help Dutchies why they don't have any trouble with the game, as other people have much more. Jagex opens now a big new market with translating Runescape into German. If they translated it into Dutch, there wouldn't make that much of a difference.
  16. Now with the pictures working again, the guide looks a LOT better already!
  17. I think your are right with cathing red chinchompas till 99 hunter, but somehow it doesnt feel good when a guide just says: "catch 48 chinchompas and your done" EDIT: Check out the RSOF, 750 ea seems even more resonable then 700 ea. I know that the RSOF are far from perfect, but I think they are pretty accuraten when you look at a topic or 10
  18. Because the Sin Seer isnt around since months : *feels stupid* But well, nice that they found it out so fast. And I really hope Jagex releases more of these hidden updates instead of some other quest where everybody is ranting about anyway, whether it's good or bad.
  19. I saw you walking around with it. It definately rocks! Oh, and who says this hidden update isn't already out for months? ;)
  20. An greyish dyed orange in RFD: 'Orange sliced which have been dyed, but it looks more like it has died.'
  21. Sorry, that looks like a big statement without any reason. Well, I said that because when I was recently members, I wanted to do the digsite quest. You needed to start by talking to some person. But I was new to the membersworld, and couldn't find that person. And I was too lazy to go and look. So when I checked out tip.it's guide, I read: Another quest guide from RuneHQ says: So that are a few small things that makes it not the best guides. Along with the fact that it doesn't have pictures. But on the overall, they are certainly not wrong or anything like that. They just could need some improvement...
