What's the best method to kill ahrim in barrows? I use my dds spec on karil and finish him with my whip. With ahrim I use an MSB with rune arrows at the moment. Is there a better method of doing it? Consdering my melee stats are 85,85,82 and range is 80.

so in your opinion as long as it is 100% when you ask grim what your workers have gathered you'll get the full amount(75k per day, since ive done royal trouble) of resources for each day it's been assuming you have had enough in your coffers?

Just wondering do you have to keep the approval rating at 100% every day or do you just have to make sure it is at 100% when you go to collect what your workers have gathered. An example is me putting more then enough money in the coffers for it to last a week. If on last day in the week I get my approval to 100% does that mean I get resources equal to my workers having taken 75k a day for the whole week or do they take the money every day and so you have to keep going back to make sure it's 100%.

hmmm so if that is up to date it would seem fishing and farming seeds are the best options. Although I imagine the seeds vary greatly, so maybe fish and flax for more stability.

I'm not up to date with the values of the materials you can get from Kingdom management. Can someone tell me what's the most profitable things to get? Coal, fish etc. Thanks for any help. :thumbsup:

Well I'm not using piety but im using super att n str pots. I can't use piety yet as prayer is only 61. I was told their melee can quite strong so I'm using protect melee. If you know if praying range or mage is better do let me know, I'm sure someone will know.

Straight and to the point, thank you very much. One more thing though. Do you recommend I kill these Wyverns by using melee? I'm currently using my whip(slash weapon) with protect melee(using a DFS to avoid the 50's damage from ice attacks)

I have four questions, three about slayer and one about summoning... 1) I am combat level 110 with att:85 str:85 and def:80. For the quickest slayer xp should I use the shilo village guy as I do at the moment or would it be better to use the one in lost city(Chealder or what ever)? 2) I have been set a task of skeletal Wyverns. I tried killing a few and their a tad annoying. Is it worth killing them or should I use 30 points to cancel the task without a penalty? 3) For tasks like fire giants and creatures of a similiar level is it the done thing to use sup att and str potions to speed it up and when ranging using a ranging pot for the same purpose, or is it a waste of money? 4) When I use a spirit terrorbird and it has under 2.5 mins left I can renew the timer and it costs 6 summoning points to do so as well as a pouch I believe. If I have 0 summoning points but have a terrorbird pouch in my inventory can I activate it when my terrorbird has under 2.5 mins so it re-sets and I don't get my items dropped on the floor or must you have the points to? thanks for any help.

I'm sure people will bite my head off for this thread but I'm doing it anyway (I probably taste good so eat me if you like). I haven't touched Runescape since.... I think may-june 2008, maybe earlier then that though. A year or more we'll say. Summoning had been out a while but was still relatively new, with people still saying "wow what's that" to what are relatively average familiars level wise(say summoning 45 or more) from what I remember. It was after a fix at the end of March but probably not too long after that, so I think May. I don't do PvP at all really, just a bit of skilling and monster killing,(oh yeah I rhyme like a master!). So basically I was wondering if anything has changed significantly since I have been gone, I imagine there have been a number of major new things released. I'm not really THAT strong, no melee stats over 90 for example, so maybe taking out boss monsters in a team but not yet ready to solo the big boys. I usually just trained slayer and did clue scrolls saving up for expensive equipment. So any changes in slayer are of interest or new weapons/armours,magic and range changes which might be suited to PvM. That's about all I'm interested in really. So changes to slayer and new equipment basically. If there have been major changes to some other non-combat skills it would be nice to know(say maybe new popular foods to eat) but I'll probably look into them in time. I'm just going to play casually on and off but it's always nice to know if what was good equipment is now outdated in some way or more options are available.(say whip, defenders, barrows armour, DFS etc as examples of equipment I had/have) Thank you in advance for any guidance, cheers, Joe.

Probably going to get told off for this but oh well. I stopped playing in about....June-July time I think. I guess some new things might have happened in the last 6 months so can anyone tell if anything has dramatically changed, new good weapons for example? I don't really care about any PvP updates I'm more PvM(monster). I couldn't see anything obvious on the archives but you never know i might have overlooked something. :

aye version 3.0.4 now. Thing is it's not like runescape isn't working exactly, if i don't click on the clan chat tab i'll be fine and on standard detail it's not an issue at all. Just I liked HD and liked clan chat. -.-

weird thing is if i click clan chat then QUICKLY did out of it to say inventory, it's ok. It's if it's leave in the clan chat interface for a second or more.

Ok so i stopped playing runescape like four or so months back but now i have a new computer i thought i'd play again now. However i have a really unusual problem which is kinda ruining RS for me. I can log in fine, everything works apart from when i click the clan chat tab in-game. When i do i see the interface for it for like half a second then either my internet window closes or my whole comp freezes up. I have no idea why, got the latest java version, hard ware isn't an issue.. I tried filling out a customer support form but i got a reply from a Mod with the good old automatic: 1) clear for cache, make sure you have the newest java, blah blah blah we don't read your messages. So i'm kinda out of ideas here, can anyone think why only clan chat is breaking the game for me?

i suppose to make it simpler for Jagex they could just go by UK seasons, i know it's not the same everywhere but it is a UK based company and i'd think the large majority of players are in the western hemisphere so it would be most logical. Really i don't think it would be very hard to implement. Just add snow to most areas, make little ponds frozen( not ones with fishing spots, keep them as cracks in the ice maybe?), make it so al karid just has a slight frost but not snow since it's desert. In the middle of summer keep most regions the same although add a few more flowering plants and make the game brighter, also make the snowy regions slightly grassy with little plants growing, frosty ground rather then total snow. In autumn just get rid of most of the leaves, make the game a little dimmer light wise, if graphically possible add rain at certain times( like every 5 hours for 30 mins or something). I'd love it personally, makes it feel more natural.

1. Currencies, runes and mage stuff, other robe outfits, non metal boots and all gloves, then some random event outfits at the end. 2. All ranged stuff 3. Melee stuff and all slayer related items 4. Potions and herbs/ingredients. Then farming stuff 5. Jewelery and d hides, basically all crafting stuff. 6. Fishing gear, fish and food 7. Woodcutting, logs, planks, roots. Then mining stuff 8. Summoning, pets, then hunter and prayer( just d bones). 9. All teleport items excluding karajama gloves( there in first one),rope n grapple hook, water skins, all keys, lockpick, random quest items and useful ones( gree grees), light sources, TT items( although weapons go in the weapon section).

sorry for being a noob here but can you set it so you get your item back in 24 hours, ignoring log out? So i can lend to a friend for 24 hours, and he keeps it if i log out in say 2 hours, for the other 22 hours?

did a daily round up for today, got back yesterday but i didn't play, only played a little today. I'm going on another trip tomorrow( going bed now since i have to be up at 5:30am!!!!) but I'll be back late Sunday so i will be playing Monday!! :D .. no body bumped my blog, cries in corner.... :( :( oh well life goes on.

i hit backspace on members and get the same, usually because i've accidentally clicked somewhere off screen. My solutions are playing full screen or using that firefox backspace disable thing, but does that stop backspace working in every way, what if i need to get rid of text?

to be honest the time it takes to collect 120m in junk is tediously long, especially if your summoning level is low and you don't play much( like you said he doesn't). So really since you can sell for 140m with 120m junk, you may as well sell on Ge max and get your 20m(ish).

hmmm not to say Jagex can't ever pull off new content without bugs but i'm going to be careful when it comes to withdrawing and depositing certain items of high value, especially putting them into tabs... i don't wanna lose stuff. :P

i'm against the rule although i have a personal stake in it because one of my two offences which has got me into the Red zone( :( ) is account sharing. Basically my friend came over and while i went to go make lunch he asked if he could play on my runescape account, i just said yeah continue what i was doing( he knows how to play he has his own account). He saw someone at fire giants who he thought was on his friends list so he said hey and they started talking. The guy asked who he was obviously and he said that " i am (account name) but i am just on my mates account really quickly cos hes downstairs". This "friend" reported my account and i got like 5 black marks, i appealed but i got: " we have conclusive evidence that you were in control of your account at the time of the offence", WTF that makes no sense what so ever, i mean auto replies is one thing but pick one that DOESN'T absolve me, it clearly says i was in control, that was my defence, yet that somehow proves i am guilty. Anyway i'm against account sharing all the time, but if a friend just ones to play a few times then i think it's ok. Just check the IP, my IP hadn't changed so it was obviously at my house.
