Damn straight people NEVER knock a drag task! I've gotten 2 visage's, one from a 17 black dragon task(on the week of release I believe, was so cool) and one from a 70 something iron drag task(two weeks ago.) for some reason I don't get set them often so that's probably two visage's in like 10 tasks worth of drags.(i took a long break) I have gargs blocked just because i cba to have to manually click the rock hammer, I like to be able to semi-afk and I can't so much with them. Bar that nothing as I like the variety. I MIGHT block kalphites just because they annoy me for some reason, but ranging the guardians(or cannoning soldiers) gives good xp so I'm not sure.

Right now I'm using coal trucks. Is the mining guild faster?(as in shorter distance from bank), or maybe grand tree mine. any help would be great.

tbh if it isn't a HUGE loss I don't care as long as it speeds this up. What do you recommend?

I'm currently 73 and want 80..and my gosh is this tedious. Is stringing unstrung yew longs as best way of doing this? It's what I'm doing as we speak.

personally i bring a black salamander and side-step all the melee brothers in their crypts. I use one dose of prayer on karil and any remaining on ahrim. If a melee bro is my tunnel i'll sidestep in the chest room. Did they get rid of the sidestepping with the latest update? I haven't barrowed for a few weeks.

Thought I'd ask fellow slayers whether or not they pot on all their tasks? Also which kinds? What I mean is I use a full super set on most tasks from Duradel, so sup att,str and def then a ranging pot for when i range tasks. Anyone else do the same? Or only use att n str sups? I find it speeds up the task a lot and I do think a super def makes a difference.

same deal with a zammy bird. 4% from hawk. I was a monkey chopping teaks and I automatically clicked bait on it and went back to chopping, then I realise it isn't there and read the run away message. Either I misclicked or you can't feed your pet when your a monkey, either way FML.

Your magic tab. Apparently they've done away with 'safe spots' for rangers and magers. How so? Though, I doubt it-safespots are the basis of those 2 skills. Prolly just a glitch. Just been reading the RS forums tonight, and it seems that certain creatures, Ice Warriors etc, now walk around obstacles and attack is they are being ranged/magicked on. I really hope not. I agree safespots shouldn't exist for boss monsters who have no ranged attacks to fight back with but for normal monsters safespots are important. I always assumed it was the point of range and mage in pvm, you can attack them without them attacking back. I agree with DKs losing their safespot as it's a trio of boss monsters, but not something like an ice warrior, I'll have to see if spirit warriors are the same, if they go around rocks.

hmm I suppose, though I generally prefer defence over offence, so what rather get say torags and a dfs and have the best melee defence. Farming wise right now I do yews, palms and snaps, will do calquat when i hit 72. I get a little less profit from the snaps as I use spider scrolls to get red eggs and make super sets for herb xp.

ok thanks guys. I see what you guys mean the defencive stats of bandos are noticably worse then say torags. I might not bother with bandos and just use torags with a dfs, tanking FTW. Then split the cash between prayer and farming.

well trees are the slowest. Right now I plant them and slay, after two tasks I harvest my snaps, sometimes one task if its taken 90ish mins.

Right I have 50m cash right now. Here's what I'm considering: A) Buy bandos set since I slay most of the time and don't have it. Right now I wear guths plate and legs and switch to helm n spear to heal, but bandos with bunyip would probably do for most tasks B) I have 76 prayer now, use it to buy 90 prayer C) One aim is to get 99 farming, Buying 50m worth of yew/magic tree seeds and palm tree seeds wont get me to 99 but would get me quite high, probably 90 or so. I'm thinking of A or B over C, I've already used quite a bit to get to 70 farming via tree and fruit tree seeds....

aye seems broads are more then doing the shop, espeically with range pots. What about steels? Diamond(e) worth it then?

Right I haven't killed iron dragons in an age and I've just got a task of 79. I'm planning to range them as I need to get my ranged lvl up, it;s 83 right now. I'm wearing full armadyls, ranger boots etc, so a high range bonus. I'm just not sure whether to use broad bolts, emmy(e) or diamond(e). I know diamond is by far the most pricey but I imagine the special is useful. Any advice?

Right well I haven't slayed these things in nearly a year! :o So I was going to go with prayer boosting gear and pray mage. So I've got the proselyte plate and legs, zammy god book(offence bonus, sacrificing +2 of fally shield 3). I don't have any prayer boosting cape so I'm just going with an obby cape. My main question is should I use a fury or a god stole? Is the extra +5 prayer worth the loss of the stats the fury gives? Then also boots wise is it worth wearing bandos boots for +1 prayer or shall I stick with dragon for the +4 str boost? any help would be super!

aye solo. But kalphites are my assignment and so the slayer mask would be good... maybe whip and defender first form, veracs second?

Hey guys just wondering is using veracs still the best method for killing the Kalphite Queen or should I use say a whip and dfs for her 1st form and then switch to diamond(e) and a ranged outfit for her 2nd form? My stats are: Att:88 str:87 def:86 range:83 mage:88 any info would be great! :thumbsup:

I'll get straight to it... (This is slayer so black mask in helmet spot) 1) Wear arma's top and bottom, then a rune def to counter the minus melee stats arma gives. Then an obby mace and zerker necklace 2) Wear arma's top and bottom with a sara sword and fury, accept arma's -13 melee stats 3) Wear karils top and bottom with a sara sword and fury 4) wear karils with rune def, obby mace and zerker necklace Right now I'm having a debate on a cc as to whether obby mace with zerker necklace is better or worse then an ss. Obviously arma's +10 more mage defence isn't huge but it's something, I imagine it makes a bit of a difference. Just not sure if it's worth losing -13 melee stats

hmm so is what you hit just based on your strength level and chance? I mean obviously your defence level along with your bonus makes the enemy more likely to miss, but once they hit and their str 99, is just the roll of a dice numbered 1 to (their max)? so they could hit 30,35 or 2,4, it's just luck?

is the empty tile next to the spell book for your summoning creature? I'm in the middle of barrowing so I can't summon anything, I assume it must be...

Oh you have a point, I'll go try that but IMO I think the letters have become translucent in parts or sometimes totally non existent in parts, i believe it's the grey on the floor behind the letters your seeing, not that it is grey pixels.
