  1. I dont have a conclusive answer, but after watching other people interacting with the cupboards i dont think it's the same for everyone. If it is there's a lot of stupid people running away from free alcs :P I can confirm that. Didn't know for my first hundred points :/ On a tangent to this - if you're aiming for the master wand, or even think you might want it, don't buy the beginner wand (unelss you're desperate to show it off to people who wont be that impressed now it's been out a few hours anyway). By saving up the points you're not committing yourself, so when the first people get master and tell us all about it you can decide whether to get the beginner and all the upgrades, or to go for one of the other items that has better stats in your eyes :)
  2. Yeah, a less recognised bonus is that anyone with 54 rc or above can make ̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâã14k a run now before you consider pouches, far more than they could in the past running nats (28*300 being only ̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâã8.4 a run). As long as cosmics stay at 250 ea that is! Personally i think it's unsustainable and they'l drop down to about 200ish - everyone's going to want t osell them soon.
  3. Ouch :( I went from 46 - 50 with drag bones recently and that was really boring. I was planning on going 50-52 some time soon to finish off the prayers, but i doubt i'll be able to bring myself to even do that if ecto worshiping is made even more boring than it was...
  4. For the alchemy room: You have to be able to low-alc For the enchantment room: You have to be able to enchant lvl 1 jewlrey For the telekinesis room: You have to be able to telegrab For the graveyard room: You have to be able to cast bones to bananas So yes, but not too bad.
  5. I've found that my way works well to give you a prett yquick turnover: I usually have 4 items in my invent (including bloods, deaths, cosmics and a dragstone). I run to any corner, half fill my invent with one colour, then fill up the rest with that 1 other colour pile in the corner (so 12 of each). When one of them comes up bonus, there is perfectly enough time to enchant all 12 of them. Then, either it's your other colour bonus (in which case enchant those) or it's not (in which case run to the centre, drop your 12 obs, go get 12 of another colour). This way you're 65% likely that the next colour will be yours if the current one isnt, so you rarely wait for long. While you're waiting for your colours to come up, stand half-way between a corner and the middle, watching for dragstones. Teacher wand isn't even out yet far as i'm aware, i highly doubt anyone has full infinity robes.
  6. Monkey madness! Bucketloads of combat exp
  7. It's expensive, there's no denying that. But it's kinda entertaining, and i've found it's given a lease of new life to a skill i was getting bored of training.
  8. Nice guide :) Best exp by far is the enchantment game imo. Worst exp is probably the telekinesis game, altho bones to bananas comes close. Relative to the 'normal' game i'm not sure, but even at 250 gp for cosmics the higher level enchantment spells are cheaper than most high level spells to cast. I enjoyed the enchantment game, and have gained about 100k exp on it today. I found the telekinesis game incredibly boring and wasn't a big fan of graveyard either. You have to play every mini game to buy anythign from the shop - as the guide says the point rewards are specific to each game.
  9. Being as you make money (although only a little) on yew longs, and lose the vast majority of the money you spend on nats if you use the mini-game, i'd strongly disagree it's for poor people.
  10. You do not get points for depositing orbs. You get points for enchanting the bonus orb, and you get points for every 10 orbs you enchant. Depositing just gives you a couple of runes (3 blood, 3 cosmic or 3 death) every now and again (not sure exactly how many you have to deposit)
  11. so does that mean that at each station you get free charges of non-elemental runes requiered for the spell? (that would be very cool) Not certain what you mean here. What i meant was that you can use the fire/water/air/earth/lava/mud staffs just as you can outside the mini-game, that's all.
  12. You can use staffs for infinite runes in every mini-game. However, only in the alc one can you get 'totally' free exp, and that's semi-rare.
  13. I've written a brief guide to the enchanting section on this thread. No images tho, i didn't see the point.
  14. I'm slightly surprised about the bonus tbh. I was guessing that they were going to be very strong offensively, but offer little help in defence. Wands are for casting spells, not armour - and why should you get defence bonuses when you dont for a bow or a sword?
  15. I'm tempted by the book, but having got 36 extremely boring tele points, i doubt i can do it another 10 times :(
  16. Highly doubt it, the update only mentions 'maybe a new spell' - which is bones to peaches.
  17. We're talking about a beginner wand here guys... Of course it's going to be rubbish. But the master wand? That'l rock.
  18. You have to buy the first wand first (beginner), surely... The others are upgrades after you've got that one. Edit: Oh you meant that one. I'ts only 50 0enchants
  19. Ty. Roughtly how many laws do you need to use for the 5 mazes? Agreed. People are going crazy for them atm :P It will die down in a couple of weeks, but for now they're in massive demand. If i wasn't keen to try and get the robes i'd be merching like crazy.
  20. How many mazes to the last one?
  21. For full robes you'll need 2k cosmics (if you're using a mud staff) And that's just for the enchanting tickets. No idea bout the others yet. Lmao, slight recalc 20,000 cosmics :o
  22. Very quick quide to enchantment: Take the runes for dragonstone enchanting, or if not the best enchanting you can (altho i dont think it's a massive benefit using expensive spells, so sticking to the low ones won't be a 'massive' loss). You can use staffs to save on some runes (mud staff and you'll only pay for cosmics if you're drag enchanting, earth for diamond, etc) Run up to one of the corners and grab a load of shapes. Take them to the centre. Wait for the bonus shape to turn to the one you've got. Quickly enchant all the shapes into orbs. Put the orbs in the hole, rinse and repeat. You get 1 point for enchanting when your shape is the bonus, and i think it's 5 for every 10 you enchant (using drag, probably 4 using diamond, 3 using ruby etc) As a variation, you might want to take a handful of shapes from each colour rather than all from one. This means a little more running around, but less waiting for your shape to be the bonus. I'd probably reccomend taking 2 lots of shapes, as you can't enchant a full load in the time your shape is bonus anyway. Rewards You get rewards when you put a certain amount of orbs in the hole. I've only had 3 deaths and 3 bloods as my 2 rewards, but people are getting *untradeable* d stones too. Edit: Rewards so far: 3 bloods 3 deaths 3 bloods 3 cosmics 3 bloods Now i'm out of cosmics :'(
  23. New robes :D New staff :D Not that interested in the new spell if it's just bones to peaches, but other than that it sounds like a great update for us mages.
  24. I'm happy to have both an original name and one i highly doubt i'll ever want to change :)
