I've never had a rare drop, but i notice a definite improvement in the quality of standard drops using a ring of wealth.

The battery problem wasn't really acted on until the 3rd or 4th gen models. My 2nd gen is possessed. It starts playing tracks at random times, even when it's sat on my desk, the key lock is on, and it's turned off. :shock:

Threaten legal action because the inadaquacy of their customer service provision is tantamount to them defrauding you of any money paid for membership. Doubt you'd ever get lucky in court with it but that's irrelevant. Or, if you can't get thru, ask a mate to do it for you. In my (admittedly limited) experience the customer service dept is completely out of it's depth with things like this, and being as it could have serious implications for them they have to pay you attention. If you're not a member, try getting a mate to put a bug report in saying that the recovery system isn't working effectively because you have an appropriate amount of information but can't recover your account Hope that someone notices and offers to help (but it's doubtful i guess) Get someone to make a thread on the RS suggestions forum suggesting they improve the recovery system, explaining your problem. Get them to post a rant in the rants forum too. Hope someone notices.

Which makes no sense to me. You can wc or mine at least as well on your main as on some daft lvl 3 account, it'l raise your skill total, and probably help you with quest reqs. Personally i find lvl 3 skillers pretty foolish. I can just about get people making a second account to enjoy the fun of their noobish beginnings again, but not people who start new accounts to do skills rather than their main. Oh, apart from the cheats who double log ofc. I understand that, I just disagree with it.

But you can choose not to add my/(the) name and thus keep yourself from annoying me/(him). But it's a bit too late now. I'd think that most semi-intelligent people would realise as soon as the person complained they were annoying them or seemed confused. Good luck. The idea that new items have a period of being cheap before they shoot up in price is pretty daft imo. When the first new items come out, they've rarer than they ever will be again, and a price isn't fixed so people try to milk as much out of them as possible by setting high prices. Look at Infinity robes, master wands, dragon hachets, death tallies, etc - they were all massive in price from the very moment they came out, then started to fall. So the suggestion that people should sell their items to buy new items "before they become hot" isn't a very good one imo.
