With the introduction of this new knowledge base, it seems to me like Jagex are deliberately trying to push fan sites like tip.it out of the mainstream by giving people less reason to need to visit them. Paranoia? Edit - Jagex not Javex. D'oh.

Not sure about the man being a dragon, but i like the idea of gold and silver dragons as future updates :)

Jagex's actions in the past have made it quite clear that they won't be allowing more rares into the game - unless they do it by mistake, in which case they'd change it.

Mage may have the best range of attacks, but also by far the worst armour :P

I'm dissapointed to see an article with such potential spoilt by drowning some good points - about the need for cohesion and better co-ordination in the banning process, the ineffectuality of some of their current methods of detection/prevention, and some of the suggestions for improvements to the service - with a lot of bad ones. `Moaning that a tip.it contributer was banned because their 'reflexive Portugeese verb' contains a swearword (Carrotc*ck might be Gujurat for 'hello', but that doesn't mean the name is inoffensive) `Whinging that Jagex banned someone who had an account that looked just like it was a mule. Etc These things and more (as detailed by some of the other dissenters on this thread) ruin what might have been an excellent article. It just comes across to me far more like "omg life is so unfair on tipit members" than "here's a reasoned analysis of thet problems jagex has and constructive suggestions to sort it out" - i'm sure that wasn't the intention, but that's how it reads to me.

To anyone outside of your family it would look like he was cheating. Despite this Jagex gave him a second chance, listened to his story, and unbanned his main. Sounds like a happy ending to me :/ Sure, you lost some rare items, and your daughter lost her account (although i doubt it would have hard for her to get a new acc set up?). But that's far better than losing everything like a lot of people do.

Yeah, guess i'll have to finish Cook's Assistant too :P My preperations for this month are going to be: Finally finish Cook's Assistant Finally finish In Search of the Myreque Finally finish Haunted Mine (Urgh) Get my cooking lvl up from 20 (lol) (finally the incentive i need to get it up for Heros) Start on a mission to get as many QP as i can with my current skills (imo the later chapters of the 100th quest will require either increasing numbers of QPs, or access to areas you need quests to get to - but probably the former).

I'm expecting Jagex to focus their energy on a quest that is very hard to complete just by using a guide.

I think it's very likely that eBay are cooperating 100% with Jagex on this. As for the people complaining "omg i'll never be able to give people money without being locked!!!" you're massively overreacting and misunderstand the situation.

You clearly don't understand the glitch. It's about auto-retaliating people, not deliberately attacking someone because you think you'll be safe.
