Someone mentioned anti-scam on one of the other topics and it reminded me to ask this. When you're buying herbs, what is anti-scam?
  3. I disagree for the reason RAHK gives. While i can see why it's annoying to get loads of low lvl noobs stealing your monsters, surely if you're higher levelled you'll hit harder and take the kill anyway? And more importantly, i can't think of many places with many similar lvl monsters that is multi combat and not in the dangerous wildy. There are bucketloads of non-multi combat places for you to train if you want to be alone, i think a multi-combat place or two is a nice change for people wanting to do something a bit different.
  4. Agree'd. What's with the pointless apostrophe? :P
  5. Because cooking gaunts don't help with all fish. They only help with a small number of fish - sharks, lobbs, tuna and something else iirc.
  6. The best mage armour is Ahrims, but Infinity comes second. Ahrims is a lot better than Infinite - both in terms of mage bonus, and especially the fact that it gives a reasonable melee defence which Infinity doesn't. To get it yourself will take a lot of time and patience, as well as cost a fair bit in runes (nothing like what it costs to just buy tho). If you want to mage stake, Ahrims is much cheaper and more effective. Infinity is really only for people who want to look good and show the acheivement of either doing all the work for it, or being rich enough to buy it.

You can't be band for that he gave the hides over for nothing a real crafter has the hides on them so you dont trade 12k for nothing What if the person you scam is best mates with a jmod? ;) Not that i am, but still - is it worth the risk?

Yeah, i guess you've got a point. But still, i doubt your friend would be so bothered about 12k that she'd risk losing her account for it :P

I sold my blue dhide set to someone offering silly money for it yesterday, so i had to get a new one. I've got loads of blue hides from killing drags, so i wandered over to AL-K to get them tanned and see if anyone around could craft me a set - there's usually at least one person crafting there. Anyway, as soon as i asked one guy said he could help me out. I didn't pay massive attention to him, but he was red to me, so at least lvl 88, and i'm pretty sure wearing barrows armour. As soon as i'd traded him he said 'Thx' and logged out. After a couple of seconds realising that i'd been 'scammed', i burst out laughing. Obviously i knew there was a risk that it would happen, but come on... who cares about 12k? For such a high lvl to be scamming so weakly really made me laugh. Is this the most pathetic scamming ever?
  10. What's even funnier is surely if you'd used the bank in Lumby you'd have been there in time? :P
  11. 40 Farming, although soo nit will be RC at 45
  12. Fly fishing gives about triple the exp of lob fishing for me. The market for salmon and trout is far smaller than the market for lobs, but if you're selling raw or using the fish for your own training, there's no question fly fishing is the best. By a long way.
  13. Shilo village is at the south of the island of Karamaja. Yo ucan get there after completing the Shilo Village quest by getting a ride from brimhaven for a couple of coins, or walking down yourself (not reccomended)
  14. Lol, at first i was going to say you could easily ace it... then i noticed your prayer :P If you had 43 prayer and used fire wave, sharks and super restores, you'd do it easily. Without the prayer... i can't think of any alternative but to have a mate drop sharks. It's not going to be easy tho as he freezes you a lot, so you'll have to be quick with pickign the sharks up.
  15. I think it's hilarious that, considering all the work Jagex put into updates, this month they introduce something really easy code wise in chairs, and everyone's ecstatic about it :P They said they'd come eventually, not necessarily that they'd be introduced ASAP :P
  16. Ooh, that's one of the creatures summoned by the Necromancer south of Fally. Bodes well for if Necromancy/Summoning ever comes into the game - looks like a nice monster to summon ;)
  17. I have aims for pretty much every skill. I can get bored of training a skill quite easily these days, so i tend to move from one to the other gradually and will probably get most of these aims around the same time. 41/50 Agility Legends 53/62 Fishing New Quest 55/70 Cooking RFD 56/66 HL Finally sell my super sets 52/55 Slayer Start barrows runs 66/70 Attack Weild Barrows weapons 57/60 Range Red D Hide 80/85 Mage Teleblock! 81/85 Fletch Mage longs! 45/50 RC 40/50 Farming Every skill above 50 77/80 WC My 3 top skills above 80
  18. Yep. The magic training shop sells them for your points that you've earned there. They were a bit pricey if i remember correctly. Yeah i've just looked there, i have no way near another pionts to buy 1 lava rune....never mind 10 of them and then 10 of the mist runes. :( For anyone who doesn't know, it's 1 point of tele/alch/graveyard and 15 enchant points per
  19. Eerrrm. I think you're looking at their current prayer level, and their target prayer level. :P
  20. Ice Barrage at Pest Control is the best exp in the game imo, but crazy expensive. Castle Wars would work too if you had a large group of friends. I plan to split mine up between alching (yew longs atm, mage longs soonish), killing monsters, and maybe some more enchanting to get that Mage book.
  21. Guys, you can disagree without biting his head off...
  22. That ^ is my favourite joke of all time.
  23. Ah well, guess i was wrong. It's interesting that tip.it didn't pick up on this when making the ranged max hit calc.
  24. I've always assumed that 'Accurate' increased your chance of hitting, while 'Rapid' increased your number of shots. ie, that they'd both have the same max hit. Are you sure you don't have a max hit of 8 with Rapid, you've just not seen it much?
  25. Don't ever put the bands in bold with the bands italicised in the same bracket again. Ever. They may not be too similar musically, but the Arctic Monkeys are to 2006 what the Stone Roses were to 1989 and Radiohead to 1995 - the most f̮̻̉̉ted band in British Rock/Indie. Just because the Monkeys are ubeat where the other two were 'gritty' and depressing it doesn't mean they aren't different parts of the same timeline. I deliberately picked the bands to contrast because I consider 'British Indie' to be quite a varied genre. I might have stuck in Muse, Oasis and The Libertines instead, even though i wouldn't say they produced similar music.
