Someone recently posted a customer support reply that said Jagex mods can't trade people. Perhaps the rules have changed since back in the day, or perhaps it's more of a code of conduct than a physical prohibitation.

A black mystic top :D I didn't even have the level to wear it at the time. I made it my mission to get the lvl, then wore it all the time and made it my next mission to put all my cash towards getting full black, which took a while but was really rewarding when i managed it :)

I don't get why people are discussing this suggestion as if it was even a remote possibility :P There's no way Jagex will deliberately make it so you can kill players outside of Wildy.

I've not used the new xbow. Do you have to hit them in the back for the special to work, or is it just less effective?

Bloodveld - of course i read what you said, and it completely missed the point. I agree that the actual quest is pretty easy, but to think that completing the quest itself is all the cape shows is ignoring the effort that you have to put in to get that far in the first place. It's irrelevant how hard the quest is - it could merely be talking to the guy inside the guild - and the cape would still signify far more work than the the obby one does.

How many hours did it take you to get the reqs for legends? How many hours does it take you to earn, or get a rich mate to give you, 300k? QED

I did legends last week @ 48 agility, it's fine. The part where you squeeze past 3 triangular rocks requires 50 agility. If you take a pot (i was potted from 48-51) you rarely fail it from my experience. Oh, you also need to be potted to get into the guild to start the quest. There's a jagged wall which can lower your agility if you fail it, but i'm pretty sure i got over that without 50. There's also a path you'll probably fall down with low agility, losing about 20 hp, but it's not a big problem.

Guess I'm a n33b then, as even though I beat legends AGES ago and have about 5 capes in the bank, I always wear obby, as it looks much cooler with verac and gives more def. Also, it's harder IMO to get 300k then to pray on everything in legends. :roll: Now, if this was classic, then legends cape hands down. But it's not... :-({|= It's far easier to make 300k than it is to get: 52 Mining 50 Agility 50 Crafting 50 Smithing 50 Strength 50 Thieving 42 Prayer 59 Magic 50 Woodcutting 45 Herblore 53 Fishing 53 Cooking 25 Ranged Hero's Quest Family Crest Shilo Village Underground Pass Waterfall Quest and 107 qp To suggest otherwise is ridiculous.

Yes, slayer staff is affected by mage bonus. However, at barrows it won't matter, the brothers are so weak to mage you'll hit almost every time.

There's a quest, digsite i believe, where you have to handle explosives in vials. If you drop the vial, it explodes and does a lot of damage to you.

Rubbish. I've had loads of bloods from barrows and i almost never go above 10 kc. Fair few bracks too.

The quest is easy, the reqs take some time. And the point is, however easy it is it's harder than getting an obby cape which requires no skills at all :P

I hate the word filter with a vengance :( Jagex have taken the reasonable idea of filtering out things that offend people, and turned it into a sprawling mass of over-protective awkwardness that hinders far more than it helps. It's so obsessively restrictive and badly thought out that it's imo one of the worst parts of the game.

Agility pots give you more than +1 agility... At 48 i got 51 agility for a short time when potting, enough to get my thru Legends. Not tried Regicide but i believe that it's pretty annoying if you don't have the required agility lvl, lots of traps or something.

You know, as amazing as it sounds there's these special websites out there that 'seach the web' for things. You type in what you want to search for, and it suggests websites. I'm surprised you've never heard of them Next time, use Google rather than spamming up the forums with non-rs questions and loads of irritating bumps.

Coal is pretty easy to get, but the 1500 coal i'd need i could sell for 300k, and i'm not sure it's worth that much for the small edge the steel offers. I'll see where i get to with 4k iron knives, and possibly after that i'll experiment with steel instead.

I think the progress is saved thing is a massive dissapointment :/ Makes the challenge much easier. Then again, i guess JAgex couldn't really encourage people to stay at teh pc for so long, probably breaks h/s laws or something :P

Thanks for the input folks :) I think i'll give knives a try because i've used arrows all the way so far, and i can't be bothered collecting/paying for all the feathers to use darts :)
