Urgh. I've been twice and died twice, last time at about combat 80. You're constantly being hit by flying azes, and there's the cranes moving around which can hurt, but the worst part are the carts - if you're unlucky and get caught behind one you can build up a number of very high hits. Whatever you pray, you'll be getting hit a lot. Imo you should definately attack him from range - melee means you're far more likely to run into the stuff flying around the room as you run around trying to keep up with him. It's essential to take a panic button, and be ready with it. Next time i go i'll be taking runes for blood burst, a full invent of sharks, and crossing my fingers.

Imo it sounds lik a waste of money trying to melee them at your level. You're going to have to spend a fair bit pots, you won't kill that many, and they have rubbish drops apart from the d bones and rare d legs. It'd be miles cheaper to mage them with chaos.

PKing and dueling mean consistently testing your talents against the other players in the game, and are an endless source of challenge if you dare to expose yourself to the full experience. PKing a whip is nice. Frequently and consistently pking other pkers in head on battle is nicer.

You also seem to miss the point. The issue is whether an item holds its own charge if you have another one in its bank. With the crystal bow, if you have two you can use the first one, then switch to the other one and it will be fully charged. You can't do this with an Iban staff. Of course you don't have an infinite charge with two bows, but noone is suggestion that.

I don't think you understand. He's saying that if you have 3 Iban staffs, you can only use the charge on one of them before they are all dead. With everything you listed, the charges stack up - if you have 10 rings of forging then you can make 10x the amount of iron.

Can i do this quest with 59 fishing and lots of fish pies?

Guilt tripping him into making a stupid trade because you were so eager to make a load of money off him is very unfair imo. Reverse the trade.

A lot of people would find high-level skilling incredibly boring, and would far rather have money to invest in new items than a higher number (:o) in an xp column. You play the game in a different way to them. That doesn't mean that your way is better, or that they're ruining the game. And i've easily met as many idiot skillers as i have idiot merchants.

This is a pretty depressing thread. Where has all that summer gone? :( Probably atm the last Friday - Sunday in July, at Global Gathering (the biggest dance festival in the UK), altho it should be supreceded on September 7th when i fly to Brazil :) Oh yeah, Radiohead on the 22nd of this month will be pretty special too.

Sounds like almost as big a gimmick as those ones back in the 80's where you could pump up the air bubble using the tongue. Heh, that reminded me, I always wanted a pair of trainers which flashed at the bubble heel. God, they opitomised 9 year old coolness! Me too!!!! Major flash bacls :D I eventually got a pair with the bubble.. but they didn't flash :(
