No. I've edited my first post now to show what is required for each puzzle, and when you've unlocked the puzzle you only need 1 log of that type.

Of course :) Yeah, it's smaller than i expected. However, i think that's better actually - it fits on the page nicely, and you should still be able to read it fine.

Turns out after you complete the quest, there are more puzzles to complete to get to the other balloon locations :) I'll put them up when i finish them

It's not worth hanging around a willow for hours as some people have :P But if you get willow branches intelligently (plant tree, do stuff, get some branches, do stuff, get the other branches) then the other items are easy to get and it's quite a straightforward quest. The exp rewards aren't great, but i like the new teleport options.

Thought I'd post it in its own thread as it stretches the page quite a lot. The numbers are the number of times to press relax. Remember that you can move up or down when you're directly in front of an object - you don't move diagonally up, but more 'straight up, then across' Edit: Oh no, it's doesn't. Ah well, did in paint :P Once you have the quest finished, you can use the balloon to teleport to different locations across Runescape: Castle Wars, Taverly, the Crafting Guild, Varrock and the Grand Tree. To 'unlock' these teleports, you need to go to Entrana and tackle a new puzzle for each location, as well as bringing a certain type of log and having the appropriate firemaking level. The solutions for the first three locations are further on in this thread. Crafting Guild - 10 oak logs - ? FM Varrock - 10 willow logs - ? FM Castle Wars - 10 yew logs - ? FM Grand tree - 3 magic logs (thanks waynegiordi) - 60 FM Once you've unlocked a route, you can travel to and from it from any other balloon teleport location. As fuel you need to bring just one log, instead of 10. You get a small amount of firemaking experience for each spot you unlock. The Castle Wars one was 2k, not sure about the others.

For anyone desperately waiting for their tree to grow: Once it's grown, you only get 6 branches. Takes an age to get the next 6 :(

For the quest, you'll need: papyrus (legends guild is slow, shilo fast) candles (shilo) a sack of potatos (north of ardy, field - or POH larder) wool (cant think of anywhere that sells this, just shear a sheep) Edit: Then you need Red Dye (shop round elf way) Yellow Dye (ditto) Silk (steal from ardy - slow, buy from trade in al-k - slowish) Sacks (buy from any farm store; north of ardy, port p, etc)

I've stopped picking up anything but the very valuable drops when i'm doing slayer... but that's because i use B2P. The less drops i pick up, the more space in my bank for bones, so the less i need to cast it :P

Where do all these bizarre pseudo-etymologies come from? :s Woot isn't an abbreviation - it's simply an exclamation of happiness. The majority of the time, from my experience, the context is nothing to do with beating someone else at something.

There seems to me to have been quite a high demand for yew longs recently as people race to get 99 mage.
