Analysis on the now known stats of the new items
Hang on! Is it just me or does it appear taht the 3rd age plate has no ranged attack penalty and less mage attack penalty? If that is true, i can see it used in barrows. Mage attack wouldnt matter anyway if you are using slayer dart. Why do people keep perpetuating this silly rumour? Slayer dart is effected by mage bonus, just like other mage spells.

05-Dec-2006-Treasure Trails, spiders and sheep
I was hoping that the new prayer set would give us some real improvements in prayer bonus, at the expense of attack/defence bonuses. Pity that's not the case - the robes are only useful for decoration. The 3rd age sets are just like dragon - not bad stats but largely to show off. They will remain very expensive. The emote changing gear is ok for a bit of fun at least it's creative thinking. Overall, i think the updates fit in the general remit of treasure trails - almost purely for rarity and decoration, with the occasional decent stats.

New TT items/armour - Oh snap
Imagine seeing that white dot on your screen on wildy... Scrolling your camera to check them out.. "Oh, it's only some lowish level newb in green drag - no problem" BANG! Ranger pure in Guth Hides wipes you out

Is the attack speed as fast as a shortbow or longbow? =P~ Inbetween for both speed and power from what I understand. I don't have one, but a number of people have said so on the OS

The new mage composite bow gives +71 bonus and is, unsurprisingly, described as a cross between a short and long bow :P

That's not what people have been saying on another thread. Given that one person who had a clue stored has had its coordinates change, i think the changes probably effect all clues.

Great post Ts_Stormrage One thing i can't remember (i have done the ghostly robes quest) but what happens to Armydals staff? Wouldn't mind getting my hands on that kind of power ;) Do you ever contribute anything other than negativity to threads? :/

Runescape getting more and more like real life
I REALLY REALLY REALLY don't think that happens, can anyone give me some proof, since i've never heard of it before. Well it does :) Obviosuly there isn't a different colour for every subject - i think they're either school-related or degree-level related. It's rare that the whole gown is a different colour, usually there's just a sash/scarf type thing while the rest of the gown is the same for everyone (often plain black) I've never seen anyone wear one with the 'hood' up like in RS. In fact, i've never noticed a hood at all, although i'm aware they exist on some gowns. I think they're more of an old-fashioned thing. Incidentally, you're not just given one. You have to either buy or rent one for the graduation ceremony or you can't attend. Along with photographs and meals etc it's a pretty expensive day. Proof? Well, you've only got my word for it, but i'm a Uni student and i helped supervise the graduation ceremony this summer.

People with high total levels compared to combat
I have 1393 skill total Zzzamorack has 1403 skill total I don't think i've put anywhere near the effort he has into the game. Obviously, there are lots of exceptions, but i think that's the general idea.

Strength vs. Defense. FINAL SHOWDOWN
Defence is best because it's useful for all three combat modes - melee mage and range :)

I appreciate i'm slightly older than the average RS player, but i still find it bizarre that so many people think "omg, that sounds like a rude word!!!" is in any way clever/funny. Same with the spoonerisms - they're just so unoriginal. I can't think of any names i've seen that i found funny, but decent ones are: umop 3pIsdn erorr sdrawkcab Me To Die They're different and clever. I guess that's pretty good, but because of the entendre, not because it's 'rude'.
