The idea behind using Ancients is either you want to a) get thru the kills faster and/or B) freeze your target so they cant hit you. This way, you need less prayer. If you're not saving on pots what you're losing in runes, you're wasting your time. Personally i use slayer dart. I get enough deaths/minds to cover everything i use, and the bloods/chaos are all a bonus. I can't compare it to fire bolt as i've never used it in Barrows, but ive never seen a guide reccomend it over the dart. Get your slayer up! :P

I have better mage and range than you, but equal def/hits and i tend to take 3 pots and do two runs at a time, with leftovers :/ (i pray Dharok, Karil, Verac) For a start i think 50 kills is a bad idea - the best way to mazamise your changes of getting a drop imo is to do as many runs as possible with your time. I also seem to remember hearing that KC doesnt affect the liklihood of a Barrows drop, but dont take that as gospel. I tend to aim for 10 kills. Also, getting your range up 2 levels means massive improvements in the equip you can wear, which means you'll kill Ahrim faster and have better mage defence against him. Yew + full green is massively inferior to mage + full blue, and it shouldn't take too long to get those 2 levels.

No, as chenw said you get double the damage dealt as exp, so you'd get 50 mage xp. If you cast in defensive you'd get 40 mage and 10 defence xp.

So it's 100 sticks for every 27 logs you cut, if you're banking at Shilo? :/ That's madness. Guess i'll just have to get them elsewhere :(

Well i found out you need 100 sticks to enter, but i dont get exactly how the banking works. Anyone?

Can anyone give me a quick rundown of the deal with cutting Mahogany/Teak on Karamaja? How many trading sticks do you need to enter? How practical is banking?

what agility level was that at? Seems to hit hard regardless of agility lvl. I'm 42 and had the same thing

At 80 mage, i killed the snake with ease using fire wave and protect from mage. It still hit me, did about 30 damage total. Take an antipoison pot too, it has a poison that hits 9 :s

Take a fiar bit of food for the slipperly rocks To make a crossbeam add a pulley to the scaffold, then add 2 planks to a pulley to make a longer one and add that, then add another pulley, then add a plank to the platform, then add rope, then add your engine and fill it with the coal you can mine there. Then you're done with the lift :)

Get your defence up. You wont be using melee attack at barrows so there's little point getting your str/att up. If you only work on defence you should be near 70 def when you've got 55 slayer - good for wearing barrows armour too.

Go to Dharock, pray, slayer dart Go to Karil, pray, slayer dart (you might be able to melee him with your stats.. dart is probably a bit better) Go to Verac. Personally i dont think you 'have' to pray Verac, but try it a few times with pray first to get a feel for it. Slayer dart. Wear prayer boosting clothes when you pray. At your prayer lvl you'll probably need 2 sips of prayer for the 3 of them. Go to Guthan. Melee defence, slayer dart. No prayer. If you're unlucky this can be a bit of a battle but 80% of the time you'll walk it. Go to Torag. Melee defence, slayer dart. Easiest battle by far, you should never be in danger. Go to Ahrim. Leave him for last because his mage lowers your other stats. Wear Dhide, range him. That's what i do, and i have much lower stats than you. You should easily get 2 runs a trip out of a couple of prayer pots and 12ish lobs. If you want you can take a load of noted pots and lob, change at the store (or bank) and stay for ages. Praying on everyone is a massive waste of money imo. Admittedly, i don't have barrows armour. My way is slightly noobish, but i dont know the more refined tactics for the rich guys :P Barrows should be a walk in the park with your stats. The key is to get as many runs as you can as fast as possible, that was you have more chance of getting the nice drops/

You can buy a face mask from any slayer master. I've no idea what spices you mean. You can get spices from Ardy spice stall?

Personally i'd say a decent rank would be top 10% of the playerbase, and a very good rank top 1%. How many people play RS? :P

Erm Either OP is confused or everyone else is. But as far as i understand it it's everyone else :P You definately did not have to talk to stop being logged out. Moving the mouse around on the screen was enough, maybe clicking to stats then back to your invent.

You have to have done Regicide.

The best clay making is still the crafter's guild imo. Clay right next to the sink right next to the wheel right next to the furnace. there's even a jug to wet your clay :) Only downside is a bit of a run to fally to bank, if you're bothered about that.

You can't water herbs, can you? :s If you try, it just says 'these dont need to be watered' As for OP, i've heard from a fair few people that higher farming increases yeild, and i agree that the effect is felt more with lower level herbs. That's how it seems to me anyway.

I've killed about 500 wearwolves for slayer and never had a white berry drop. Not a ood idea. Farming is the best way to get them (and limps) if possible.

BdR was a recent update to the game, nearly all Barrows guides were written before it existed :) My mate who uses my Karil xbow (dont have 70 range yet) says it's pretty good, but i'm not sure it's worth the risk taking just to kill ahrim unless you're a high combat lvl or rich. And i've no idea about the last question :/ Good one. I'd hope it's after you search...

Daggs are fun. You need high range defence because they all still hit you (well, i never saw a safespot.. there might be one i guess) but it's pretty good exp. If you're there for 10 minutes and dont get a clue, i'd be amazed :P

I don't find mage bank pkers much of a problem, especially now there's a bank in lumby. Anyone taking valuable items to the bank is pretty foolish (or a pker), so just run over, home you dont get tb'ed or snared, and if you do... get 2 waters and 2 laws from lumby bank, change world and try again. Slightly annoying perhaps, but nowhere near as bad as rc pkers. After i've banked at the mage bank, i always head out with a handful of runes or a dds to wind up the goons stood there, helps releive the stress :)

When Jagex announced they were keeping a close watch on unbalanced trades, a lot of people massively overreacted. It's not against the rules to make an unbalanced trade You won't get banned for doing it Jagex simply meant that they could look at this data, and they used it when tracking people breaking real rules like trading for real world items.
