 I use Firefox, no chance of a problem here. All I got was I dialog box asking what I want to do with the wmf file (open, download, etc.) Just hit cancel and continue on. I don't understand what they mean by opening the file in Firefox. Firefox is not able to read or open wmf files :?

F2P WORLDS NEED MORE UPDATES IN SKILLS (plz post)
Then why are there more people playing on the free worlds than on the pay worlds? So you think they should spend their time and money supporting people who are too cheap to pay $5 a month and don't give a damn about supporting their business.

RS3.....
Congratulations, you are the one millionth person to come up with this idea!

Player Websites
I like this idea, it would be a good replacement for the current highscores page (which is kind of boring). It would only require that the template page for the current high scores page be changed to reflect the new "players webpage" and a little bit of code on the server to generate the players picture (with php this would be extremely simple and add a miniscule load to the server).

making the servers bigger
The lag is caused by the number of people on the server (or sometimes the speed of your connection), so even if a server had 2000 people evenly spread all over the world you would still have lag problems. Lag is when the server takes a long time to respond to a client. The one problem having a huge number of people in one spot is slow screen refresh times. This looks like lag, but is actually the game taking a long time to redrawing everything. It usually only effects older computers like mine, but if Jagex were to add more people to each server then people with newer computers would start to have this problem, and people with older computers wouldn't be able to play on a crowded world.

Tip.It Times: Happy Holidays
57 + 1 box of bobbles + 1 box of puppets = 59 I hope these all change to coal after the Christamas event ends, because I have a bank full of them all :D

Change your name
Changing your name would be simple for Jagex to impliment. All they have to do is add another field to every players account to keep track of the old name. I did a quick calculation and discovered it would only add about 50 MB to the size of the database for 4 million players, so the space they need is not an issue. As for the friends list all they have to do is put the old name in brackets after the new name, so everyone will be able to figure out who the people on their lists are.

jagex...Mistake or racist?
What's odd about it, the guy has a bent and broken nose that looks like a hook, thus the name hooknose. A common nickname for people with bend or broken noses where I come from.

Small updates and more!
WOW! These are great ideas! Have you posted them on the Jage forums? I would love to see all of these in the game, especially the night/day stuff.

Pigs
We could use tomatoes to make the keychup. Then we could have players set up hot dog stands in the cities and all the scammers can set up three card monty tables nearby

Pigs
And you could use the ham to make ham and pineapple pizza instead of just pineapple pizza.

New maple trees are kinda ugly
I agree with you. The Maples look diseased now. I don't think anyone at Jagex has actually seen a real Maple tree. The old Maples looked like a Maple does in the fall, but these new ones don't have any resemblance to any Maple tree I've ever seen.

This way you won't be able to lose your stuff.
This wouldn't work for most Internet users since the majority of home users are on a dynamic IP address. So as soon as your ISP changes the IP on you, BANG, you can't do anything anymore.

Problems with the barbarian agility course
If it only happened once I would assume it was bad luck, but as I said it has happened constant;y since I got over level 40 agility. Evene the worlds worst random number generator doesn't generate a failure more than half the time. In my case I fail 2/3 of the time.

Problems with the barbarian agility course
There seems to be a big problem with lthe log in the barbarian agility course and elsewhere in the game. I can go around the course over and over and I never fall off any of the obstacles except the log. I only make it across about 1/3 of the time. This doesn't seem right to me since it is supposed to be one of the easier things to cross. This didn't start happening until I got over 40 in agility. As soon as that happened I was no longer able to easily cross any logs in the game. Has this happened to anyone else or is it just me?

Loading problems on rs main page :S
As I have said in other threads, this will only help you if your browser can't find the web site. If the web site can be found but the pages aren't loading, then this will do nothing.

er... i cant get into runescape...
All this does is clear the domain name server cache. So if you are getting a page not found error this won't help. If you are getting a server not found error, this may help. If the page isn't being found or a blank page is being returned, then there is a problem with the web server. I've been having problems like this for the last 3 days with the runescape site. One minute everything loads fine, the next all the pages are blank or not found, then a few minutes later it is all working again. I don't know which web server they are using, but I know from my own experience running Apache and IIS web servers this is what happens when the server is overloaded with page requests. I'd say they need either more or faster servers.

Can anyone access RuneScape?
Already did the reboot, but like I said it's only the RuneScape site that won't load. All other sites work fine and so do any Java applets running on those site. When the message "The document contains no data" is shown that means the web server didn't sent anything back to the browser, which usually means their web server is having problems. Sometimes it can mean that the data is being lost somewhere on the Internet before it gets to your browser. I can eventually get into their website if I keep hitting reload, and the game works fine once it is loaded. It's just annoying having to wait up to 15 minutes to get to the server list page

Can anyone access RuneScape?
Nope, not my computer. Every other web site I've tried is working. It's just the RuneScape site that is dead. Being able to continue playing it just means that the game servers are working, but I am trying to get to the RuneScape website, which seems to be down. So if you managed to get to the website and load the game before it went down you wouldn't see a problem. Edit: I tried doing the reload thing and have managed to get the main page to load, but can't get past that yet.

Can anyone access RuneScape?
The RuneScape website seems to have disappeared  Whenever I try to access the site all I get is a message saying "The document was empty" and a blank page. Is anyone else having this problem? Is there something wrong with the site?

Aboout meing member..
I became a member yesterday when working on my skills started getting a little tedious in the free version. I was getting bored with only a few different training spots and no more quests or other interesting things to do. So if you are still having a lot of fun with the free version, then stick with it and do everything you can there first. You won't be disapointed if you decide to become a member, I love it so far. But the best thing by far is usuing the members servers because there are no where near as many people begging for free stuff. On the free servers I run into beggars at every bank, yesterday on the members servers I ran into only one beggar the entire time I played.

The @#$%$$#% meta refresh
Thanks for the support Artie_900. I don't mind the ads. They are a great way to keep the game free, it Jagex's incompetent web designing skills that bug me. I've been developing software for 22 years, and designing / building web sites for 9 years now, and until I found this game I had never seen anyone use meta-refresh for ad rotation. It's just plain bad design. I wonder if Firefox will ever allow you to disable it? If I ever proposed doing something like this to a client they would kick me out the door and my reputaion would be instantly destroyed in the industry.

The @#$%$$#% meta refresh
I hate the %^$^%$^%$ meta refresh jagex uses to rotate the ads on the free version of the game. The take the focus away from the gameand put it on the ad. So if I am typing a message and then decide to change it by hitting the backspace, but the ad has taken the focus, pressing the backspace will move me back a page and unload the ^%$%$#$% game  The moron ever though this was a good design needs to be beaten to death with the rubber chicken!

Simple solution to the increasing scammer problem.
Very bad idea. Since high schools, universities, and companies use 1 IP address for everyone in the location, this could end up banning thousands of people who have done nothing. Also, here in Canada most people are on dynamic IP addresses at home, so all that would happen is they would be banned until their IP address changes (anywher from 2 hours to 2 days with most ISP's), or they could manually request an IP change. Ha, forget I said anything, turns out Jagex won't allow more than 1 login per ip address. I just tried to get a bunch of people playing at my university and everyone after the first person who logged in was givene the message that there were "too many logins from this IP". It's also impossible to play against your family and friends on a home network, at least on mine, since we are all connected through 1 router and we all have the same IP address. I guess Jagex doesn't think of these things when designing their game
