Norma Jean / A Life Once Lost / As I Lay Dying
Sounds like you had fun. When I went to see Slayer, the mosh pit was amazing. I love to mosh (not hardcore dance...) and headbang. I got punched all over the place, ribs, back, face, got some of my hair ripped out, and a guy stepped in one of the pockets on my pants and ripped the leg off at the knee. It was great. My neck hurt for like four days afterward. I had about 15 bruises on my back. When I saw In Flames and Arch Enemy, the mosh pit was so cool. But, when I jumped in, I got punched right in the stomach by this HUGE guy. I had Mononucleosis at the time (a sickness that makes your spleen and liver swell up) and almost ruptured my liver. :( That was the last show I went to. I really want to mosh again though. :D

Alternative to Rock Paper Scissors?
We basically have the same thing. But everyone stands as far away as possible, yells "Rock paper scissors" to no one, then run to the middle and see who won. Of course everyone cheats and looks at what the other kids have when the run and swap. Ends up in some fights too. Lol. That's kinda funny. You should have a person designated to watch out for "swappers". Then, the game would be fair!

Alternative to Rock Paper Scissors?
We have X-TREME rock, paper, scissors here. That's where you play the game, but you yell and scream alot. And the winner gets beaten up.

Best game of '05
Shadow of the Colossus has been my game of the year. Though Indigo Prophecy (Faranheit) and Resident Evil 4 come in a close second.

GME: Winner! - Lord Of The Rings 3 (ROTK)
My vote goes to The Godfather. Though I liked ROTK, I don't think it beats The Godfather.

Last night - Lamb of God, Devildriver, and neck pain
I saw Arch Enemy live not too long ago. (I would kill to see Strapping Young Lad though.) IMO, they don't really give a very good live show. Their stage prescence just isn't all that great. They can't really motivate the crowd. They all basically just stand in one spot and play until they're done with their set. However, the music is good. :D

Emo
Emo music itself just sucks. Period. I don't much care for the musical style. I have alot of friends that listen to emo. Do I hate them? No. I just won't ride in their car with them because they're always listening to it.

What makes your bday the coolest and why?
You were born on Valentine's Day? I'm sorry, man. That must suck. I was born on November 7th. :) The eleventh month, seventh day. If you switch it around, it makes 7/11. (name of a chain of convinience stores) :P July 23, 1989 FTW :D 7/23... my two favorite numbers ;) (23 first of course :D ) You're older than me! O.O Is that the reason those are your two favorite numbers? Because they have something to do with your birthday? :P

D.A.R.E.
and like I said, it's been around in my family. What about the kids who don't come from that kind of a home? I'm sure they've watched enough TV by then to know what drugs are. All children at some time in their lives need to be informed about drugs and the affects they can have on your life. Might as well try to teach them while they're still quite impressionable.

D.A.R.E.
Lol. It does sorta seem like that... But, it works. Very well.

Finding a Game
Oh I get it...Is it called Indigo Prophecy in North America? Yes. And it is a GREAT game. VERY VERY VERY good. I beat it last night. :D And I'm definately going to play it again. I'd reccommend it to any gamer here.

D.A.R.E.
I had it in 6th and 7th grade. Most of the kids seemed to listen to the instructors pretty well. Although, I'm not at that school anymore so I can't tell you how much of an effect it had on the other kids, but I did keep the D.A.R.E classes in mind the first time I tried drugs. It really does stick with you. Most kids are mature enough when they're in 5th, 6th, or 7th grade to know what drugs are and they need to be educated on the facts about them. I think D.A.R.E programs at such a young age are a very good idea.

Wow... I would absolutely LOVE to see Lamb of God and Devildriver! Sounds like you had fun, dude. :)

Strange bruising etc
Happens to me alot. I usually just get unexplainable bruises and cuts on my legs and sometimes on my arms and hands. I think I just hit/cut myself without noticing I've done it.

Oh those teachers...
Yeah. Some teachers in my school are like that. Go to the principal/school board, (her boss) and talk to them about it. It's unfair and I'm sure that her superiors will be displeased.

Quite Possibly The Best Hour Of TV Ever
I've been wondering if that show was any good. I'll be sure to watch for it to come on. :)

Messing with Telemarketers
I'd imagine the telemarketer could tell that you weren't serious. They're probably used to dumb things like that. Sounds like you guys had fun with it at least.. Yeah. He probably knew we were joking. They probably get that stuff all the time. I'd like to be a telemarketer for at least a little while just to see what kind of stuff people would say to me...

Music in games - important?
Music in games creates the right atmosphere. I don't think that music in games is getting worse. People are just starting to realize that the music is important. A few newer games like Shadow of the Colossus and Geist have mind blowing music that creates just the right kind of atmosphere. The game, Baten Katos has pretty good music, but HORRIBLE voice acting. When I think of the game, I think of the bad voice acting. Music, voice acting, sound effects, they all have an important impact on what someone thinks of the game mainly because music is catchy and sounds are memorable.
