  1. In case you were confused, Jason, I wasn't questioning whether or not the drought has lasted that long. I just said that I couldn't imagine it because I live in an area in the US that has never suffered a drought before. I've never had any restrictions on my water usage. The restrictions are terrible. :( And I hope that things start to get better for the people of Australia.
  2. Ninjas don't have cars. :-k
  3. This is kind of a take off of the other paper dolls topic. :D I showed a friend of mine the link on the other topic last night and we had a hoot trying to compete to see which one could make the ugliest/strangest doll. :D So, I figured my friends here would enjoy this. :P So, click the link below and make/post your oddest doll. I've got to leave for school soon so I'll post mine when I return. :P Have fun! http://elouai.com/doll-makers/new-dollmaker.php Alright, this is my doll. :D
  4. They aren't half as bad as the article implies. Granted, the article implies that people here are clawing their way down dirt roads with their clothes in tatters just trying to get to the nearest puddle. Which they aren't. Yeah I figured the article was exaggerating, but still, I can't even begin to imagine a drought lasting seven years.
  5. Pardon my ignorance, but really? O.O
  6. Haha. I tried to make it close, did I succeed? And Daan, that background really suits you. :P Lol. Yes.
  7. Lol MPC. Yours is great.
  8. My Algebra II teacher is like that. If ONE person in the class doesn't do their homework (granted, I usually do mine) we all get griped at.
  9. My Spanish II class is through Distance Learning, so I basically have an online Spanish class during the school day. We communicate with my teacher via a webcam and mic in the classroom. So it's like she's there, but she's not really. :P My Spanish I class was via Distance Learning as well, but we had a different teacher. Anyway, this is my Spanish II teacher's first year teaching. She's NEVER ever there, and we always have busy work. The year is almost over and we have learned NO Spanish. She didn't teach us a damn thing because she was never there, and when she was, she wouldn't teach us words, she would just sit there and type on her computer and ask us about technical issues. Or she would make us play a game on the Internet. The book work that we had to do consisted of reading a question in Spanish and answering with a "Si" or "No". It was really the crappiest class I've ever had.
  10. Wow. You're a fool who is too ignorant to realize how good you really have it.
  11. I always say that should I ever have a car accident, I'll be so scared, I'll just faint and never wake up. Last time I drove was a couple of months ago. I hit a bird and didn't feel like driving for a long time. As a matter of fact, I still don't feel like driving. :( I'm glad you're alright though. Could have been a lot more scary than it was. :P
  12. You're talking about Gypsies? I thought you were talking about migrant workers or something. Didn't know Gypsies still existed. Anyway, they're still PEOPLE and all people deserve respect. I'm not saying that you should go out and... do Gypsy things with them. But, don't act so hostile toward them. If I could tell that they were good people, (like if they kept to themselves and respected your property) I might even go out and talk to them. They could be interesting. :D
  13. Wow. How terrible. :( I didn't know things were that bad. I really hope for the best. :(
  14. Cell phone and money. :P

I have to have my personal space. If someone invades that space, I get very anxious. I'm not REALLY scared of anything, but I do get anxious a lot. My boyfriend is scared to death of spiders. I feel really awesome slaying one in front of him. :P
  16. I live in a very rough town. It's small, but very rough. Not as much violence as there are thieves. Since I've lived here all my life, I'm good at keeping people away from my stuff. :x
  17. Well, I don't think it will. But, should the plane take off (which I don't think it will of course. :P) I'll stand corrected. I definitely agree that this is a job for Mythbusters. :D
  18. That's all that matters, Suzi. ^_^
  19. I'm just an easy going kinda girl. That likes to hang out in wheat fields with cats on pillows.
  20. You don't need to be broadcast on TV to be proud of your deeds.

I thought I was the only one who thought they had an annoying touch. Cows on the keyboard = very bad. :(
  22. I'm not trying to discourage you. Planting trees is great and fun. :D But, from my experience, it's harder to find willow tree seeds rather than just finding a sapling. Though I can understand why you would want to raise it from a seed for the challenge, it's just easier to find a sapling and plant it. You can probably go to Wal-Mart and get a willow tree sapling, but I don't think they sell the seeds there. :P

Yeah. Pop the keys off and dry it. It might work then. Sucks to be you. :P
  24. *High fives* Mine is Yahoo too.
  25. Wow, Viktor. How odd. Who have you pissed off? :P I guess the oddest thing that's ever happened to me was when someone called me at 4 in the morning and woke me up, and they got the wrong number.
