  6. I've been looking forward to this for a couple of days now! I'm really gonna try that cup thing, though I'm not good with paper folding. :P I knew about the sleep cycles though I'm bad with math and I was unable to really calculate how much sleep you need to correspond waking up at the end of the REM cycle. :P Merry Christmas, Trapical!

[hide] I'm sober, infact I've never been drunk. I fail to see how it is perfect if [wagon] like you live there. Uhh thread title is stereotypes. However calling us all drunk is really moronic. Violent I'd agree with, but drunk is just stupid. [/hide] Hey. I'm American. A lot of people on this thread called me a warmonger, a redneck, and a fatass, among other things. :P Am I mad about it? No. It's just stereotypes. I'm not trying to attack you, or start an argument. But, this thread isn't worth getting worked up over. Everyone's just having a bit of fun.
  9. That fro is epic!
  10. It's alright. ^_^ Both puppies will be fine. :)
  11. Feel free to invite me into any conversations, or add me or whatever. :P
  12. That's right. It's all about responsibility. It can only bring someone down as a person if they choose to let it become their lifestyle. Just because you smoke pot doesn't mean you're going to lose your job or get bad grades. But, if you put smoking before everything else in your life, then it becomes a problem.

I'm curious as to what Americans are stereotyped as in other countries.
  15. Well, around here, drugs are a serious problem. When I was in 8th grade, our class size was over 120. Now, I'm in 12th grade and we're down to 75. The reason being is a lot of people either dropped out to do drugs all day, or they failed because they spend too much time doing drugs rather than being at school. Of course, the drug of choice around here is marijuana. But, meth is coming in at a close second. Also, a couple of guys got expelled the other day because they were caught selling cocaine during lunch. Needless to say, I've been around drugs a lot. Just last night, my boyfriend and I gave a ride to an old friend who was notorious for doing drugs. He directed us to a house in the hood and asked us to come in. When we walked in, there were at least six people all smoking weed, and one girl was doing cocaine. I've done marijuana, but never to the extent that a lot of people around here do. I guess I was a social smoker. I would smoke when I was at someone's house and they were doing it. But, I never dedicated my life to it. I did it by my own choice. I was never pressured into doing it. To me, it's just like drinking. It's not wrong to smoke marijuana. But, if you do, I believe you should smoke in moderation. I personally think that it should be legalized here in the US. The only time it becomes harmful is when someone does it too much. And it's not the marijuana itself that's harmful. It's the effects. People get high and fight, or do stupid things just like they do when they get drunk. Now, it's been about three years since the last time I smoked marijuana. I just made the choice not to smoke it since I don't like my judgment to be impaired. I don't like knowing that when I did get high, I wasn't completely in my right mind and I had to depend on others to take care of me. That being said, it is relaxing. It does relieve physical pain. I would recommend it to other people if they weren't extremely worried about the legal aspect. Marijuana is certainly an experience. :P Sometimes, I think about smoking it again. But, in my area, marijuana is a lifestyle. And it's just not the lifestyle for me.
  16. 30 or 40 people is actually a lot of people to have over at your house at night. :P Especially if your neighbors are trying to sleep. He had no right to come over there cursing and yelling and all that stuff. And I think that if you had hit him, you would have been cleared legally (since he started it) but, you'd still look like a jerk for hitting an old guy.
  17. I would like to get married somewhere in the future. Not just for the commitment factor, but for the legal factors. I'm not Christian, however, my boyfriend and my family are. I would like to have a wedding ceremony that isn't a Christian one, but I would have one if it would make my family and my boyfriend feel more comfortable. However, I do believe that marriage starts way before the ceremony, and I've no problem with people who are living together and aren't married. It seems as though a lot of people have some kind of problem with that.
  18. Haha, that's awesome! Just get the costumes and you'll be as awesome as these guys: Lol. I wish I could one day be as cool as them.
  19. My brother used to do that. You have to be able to stand really still, not blink, and keep the same look on your face. :P It was always fun to see him scare people. But, I could never do it.
  20. My sister makes prank calls a lot. This is basically how my favorite one went. My sister looks up a random number in the phone book and dials it and a woman picks up. She sounds pretty agitated. Woman: Hello? My sister: Hello? This is (fake name). I was wondering why you didn't come over and mow my lawn yesterday. Woman: Mow your own damn lawn, [bleep]! At that time, I started laughing so hard, we had to hang up.

Is your friend a close friend? If so, then, perhaps when he gets out, you could talk to him about how he feels. It sounds like he could really use a close friend. As for right now, he's in the best place possible. I know it's hard not to worry, but he's in good hands and will be taken care of.
