  1. Wow @ all that hair. O.o
  2. Can you move it? Does it hurt to put pressure on it? Can you wiggle your fingers? You should go to the hospital anyway. Sounds as though you seriously injured it. Even if it isn't broken, it could be sprained and needs medical attention. Your parents aren't going to get mad. :?
  3. I'm glad she turned it in. :P The rest of the day at school, I was just kinda blah. I'm very glad she had to take it for just one night. Some people have to deal with it this weekend, and I feel for them. I really can't wait to see what kinda grade my sister got for it. It decided to wake up at 4 in the morning and she proceeded to grab it by its head, slam it down face first on the mattress, and change it. It was certainly an experience. It's REALLY made me not want to have children.
  4. So, right now it's almost 1 in the morning and I have to go to school tomorrow. :P Unfortunately, it doesn't look like I'm going to get any sleep tonight. You see, I share a room with my younger sister and she happens to be taking a Parenting class at school. For a grade, she had to bring home a robot baby and take care of it for (thank goodness) one night. I don't know how many of you know what I'm talking about when I say that it's a robot baby. :P It's just kinda like a doll that cries constantly. You have to change it, cover it up, rock it, feed it, burp it. It's crazy. It breathes and hears. You happen to make a noise too loud and it cries ungodly loud. Needless to say, my sister is stressed out and so am I. I never thought that I would have to take care of one these things. :P I avoided Parenting class for a reason. I knew numerous people throughout high school who went to the class for an "easy A" and got slapped with a baby and failed because they neglected it. I even knew a guy who killed his by throwing it in his closet and stacking pillows on top of it to shut it up. I took care of the baby while my sister took a shower and this thing hates everyone! Right now, it's grunting and whining and I can feel a screaming fit coming on. Anyway, have any of you guys ever taken Parenting? Or do you have any funny stories about these babies? What are your opinions on high school kids having to take these home and take care of it for a grade? I certainly think it's beneficial. Not only have I come to understand the stress of having a child, but I've come to respect my parents a bit more, and I'm not even the one assigned to take care of the baby! Anyway, here's a picture of the screaming, crying, robot baby:
  5. Why is it any of the school's business what the kids were doing as long as it wasn't at school?

    I have a CPR license.
  7. How do you guys not know how to tie your shoes?!
  8. I was sitting in kindergarten. We were supposed to be learning how to add and we were all sitting on the floor. My teacher was writing all kinds of simple math problems on the board, but I was playing around with my shoelaces, and I just kinda... got it. :P
  9. I have no problem with gay people. I do, however, have a big problem with homophobes.
  10. 2 slices fill me up. -.-
  11. I read your entire post and I want you to know that you're not the only person who has gone through this. I became severely depressed during my freshman year in high school (which was about 3 years ago). I started thinking of suicide, even attempting it once. It wasn't a good time for me, and I can understand what you are going through right now. The good thing is, you have a mother who seems to care very much for you and just wants what you think will make you feel better. You mentioned that she asked you if you needed to see someone, which shows that she does care. Even though you feel alone, it seems to me as though you have plenty of people in your life who are concerned about you and just want what is best for you. ^_^ In my opinion, you do need to see someone. I'm not trying to say that you're crazy. :P I've been seeing a psychologist and a psychiatrist for 3 years. I'm even on medication for my depression. No matter where you go, you'll most likely talk to a psychologist the most. Psychiatrists tend to be busier, and you'll probably only see one if you express interest in taking medication. My psychologist is a very nice, kind, soft spoken woman who makes me feel very relaxed, and has a good way of sorting things out with me (which I'm sure she has that effect on most people. :P ). No. She doesn't seem like she has some kind of secret agenda for me. :P And if the person you happen to see makes you feel uncomfortable, you can always go see someone else. You just sit down and talk. ^_^ The psychologist may ask you if you know why you feel the way you do, what's been happening in your life, things like that. You just talk to them like you would your best friend. It's certainly not a bad experience, and I often leave my psychologist's office feeling as though I've had a weight lifted off my shoulders. Also, you are an adult, and they cannot tell your parents anything. However, (and I'm not trying to scare you here) if they honestly think you pose a threat to someone else, they can tell the authorities. Like, if you go in there and say "I'm going to go rob a bank and kill everyone I see!" then you hop in your car and speed away, they're probably going to call the police on you. :P I've told you all that I can, but I would like to remind you that you really do have people in your life that care about you. ^_^ I hope that in making your post you got a few things off your chest and were able to feel somewhat better. And of course, I hope that things work out for you. If you ever need to talk about anything, I know you have me on MSN, but you can feel free to drop me a PM.
  12. Everything will be alright. ^_^ I've gone to three different schools in my life and I'll be starting college this fall. It's tough for a few days while you're trying to get used to things, but you'll get to the point where you don't feel nervous about going to your new school.
  13. Eating meat is natural. So, it's not wrong. Have you slept yet?
  14. I would kill myself. I can't go 20 years without freedom. Of course, Nadril's plan is quite ingenious. :-k
  15. Happy New Year everyone! Hopefully you all have a good one. ^_^
  16. Is he dead yet?
  17. I demand tired pics!
  18. What I fail to understand is why would someone want to pay to see a movie when all they do the whole time is chat it up on their phone? :uhh:
  19. Anyone one else think of Night at the Roxbury when they saw this? I thought, "Is he in some kind of commercial?"
  20. No. It doesn't cause arthritis.
  21. Good luck with that.
  22. I know this is off topic, but I just wanted to say something. Venomai, I've been following you on this thread and the marijuana thread, and I just wanted to compliment you on your intelligence. Your posts are well put together, and worth reading, while you also seem to be quite open minded. :D Anyway, sorry for the off topicness. :P

Yeah. Family Guy. :XD: I've heard many a horror story about chavs. I guess they're what we in the US call "wiggers". And while the wiggers I know are violent, they mainly just do a lot of drugs and aren't as violent as I've heard chavs are.
