Yeah, I'm horrible with faces, I usually end up associating people to their names by clothes and stature I'm horrible with names too, Carlo. But, I'm very good with faces unlike Landon. :wink:

Wish that happend here... my school is very racaly divided. Wow. Really? That sucks. My old school was very racially divided. Nothing more tense than racial tension...

I'm going out to see The Da Vinci Code movie tomorrow night. I finished the book yesterday. :D

I like my classmates. They're really great. Each one of them has their own little quirks, and everyone in my school pretty much respects everyone else, and lets them do their own thing. That's saying something for a pretty large school of 1k plus.

Hehe on test days I'd pick the skill to know the right answer to everything (except for the questions that would be major spoilers like.... What's the purpose of life... What's the question that is answered 42...) :lol: With my amazing ability to control time, on a test day, I would simply climb on top of my desk and say, "Attention, fellow members of my class: can someone tell me all of the answers? That would be awesome." Or I'd just stand up and look at everyone's paper. Then, just as the teacher is yelling at me to go to the office, I'd simply rewind time, remembering the answers I'd accumulated, and quietly complete my test. :D

Like alot of people have mentioned, I'd like Telekenisis. ^_^ I'd also like the ability to rewind time, like on Prince of Persia. That would be awesome! Like, in any social situation, I could just say whatever I wanted to someone, and then, rewind time and say the right thing. :D That would be sweeeeeet!

Our school band has practiced with it, and is planning to play it at marching competition next year. :D I think they're wanting to do Areths' (sp?) theme.

Your parents won't be mad if they trust you. I'm sure they'll be able to help you more than anyone here can.

That's really cool. I am looking forward to learning about communication. Stuff like body language and tone... And I can usually give a speech with no problem at all. But, I do get pretty nervous about it sometimes.

Oh my god. Wow.... You should really try to talk to her about it, or her friends. She may be saying that kind of stuff because there's another guy involved. Maybe she's trying to get attention or pity. Either way, this is a lousy way to do it. You certainly need to speak to an adult about it. Your parents first, then her parents. You need to make it known right away that you did no such thing.

I am almost finished reading The Da Vinci Code, and I look forward to reading Angels and Demons. I found the Da Vinci Code quite entertaining, and extremely interesting. As far as writing style goes, I've read much worse. The story is very compelling. The book brings up many interesting points about symbolisim in religion and really (Know that I am aware of the fact that there are fictional elements to the story. I am also aware that Dan Brown is not the first person to write about this.) offers a much better explanation about Jesus than him being the son of God. POSSIBLE SPOILER: These are just my views. I believe that Jesus was just a normal man, sure he was a prophet, and he basically founded a new religion. Lots of people throughout history have done that. Since he was a normal person, why wouldn't he get married? Why wouldn't he have a child? I believe the Catholic Church gave Jesus his divinity, and covered up the fact that he was married to keep the Pope in power. If there was a direct descendant from Jesus' bloodline, do you think the Pope would be in charge of all the people in that religion? No. Jesus' descendants would be. I believe they further covered it up, by recasting Mary Magdalene as a prostitue. The Bible was a creation of man. It is very very possible that there were alot of things omitted for the sake of the Catholic Church's power. After all, the Catholic Church has been known to cover up and manipulate other matters, such as their effort to convert the Pagans to Christianity. Christian holidays were placed close to Pagan holidays for a reason. The Catholic Church wanted to make Christianity look like a hybrid religion, something that one could easily convert to. ---- Since I've never believed that Jesus was the son of god, these points are quite intriguing, and offer logical reasoning to the Christian religion. They are simply possibilities. And since they are nothing but possibilities, I don't see why people are so outraged about them. If you believe Jesus was the son of god, good. If you believe that Jesus was just a normal guy, good. Live and let live, you know? The above statements were simply my views. I do not mean to start a flame war, or offend anyone. I sincerely apologize if I have offended anyone.

I do believe that whatever goes around comes around, but if you're doing something good, just so that it can come back in your favor, then, eventually you'll get what's coming to you for your selfishness. You're absolutely right. No one needs a reason to help someone else. And it's people who give without expecting anything in return that are rewarded by karma.
