Well for what its worth - he spirited me away enough times to give me the full outfit and teach me the Zombie walk (never got around to the dance) - that all happened in 1 night when I was killing Chaos Druid Warriors. I loved it - meant I got to bank the stuff I had gathered without having to go back to the bank. If you get the outfit and sling it out to make room, he will start you off from scratch. You cannot learn the emotes unless you have the full set. So I still have not got the hang of how to dance like a zombie! :roll:

Those trees have been there for quite a while - there is nothing you can make out of them though at the moment, apart from a heap of ashes. Banking them is a pain - you can either take them to a bank yourself or pay Rionsata 10 trading sticks to bank each log. They are good exp for firemaking though - especially as I have this thing against burning yew logs. Some people also say you get more birds nests drops from Mahogany and Willow - cant say I have noticed.

Stand in the safe spot behind the altar and he will not touch you with anything. You have to mage him, so probably best to do that till he dies.

Do you still need to put a lot in? I know when I did the quest I left 20 k in there and set them to 100% herbs. Came back a few days later to find 8k left and 1 single Marrintil. Took the remaining money out and left in disgust. I was at 100% favour - doubt I am any more! :D

You sure about that? If so it has changed recently. It gets drained to zero when you enter the abyss, but I have taken prayer pots in there to get my prayer up in order to spend more time exploring or replacing lost pouches.

The price of pure ess will go up - the price of regular ess will go down. Ess used to cost between 20 and 30 gp each, more or less for bulk sales (depending on the buyer and the seller) I got a lot of P2P members willing to sell me pure ess at 33gp each - so I think the cries of pure ess is going to go over 100gp each highly unlikely! (If it does - I can see a fair few RCers dusting off their pics!) I dont mind paying up to 35gp each for ess (for multiples of 1k) - as I see it, it is giving the lower level P2P members a hand to get some money so they can buy the things they want to get. Doutless there will be some out there who seek to profit and try and force the prices up - it will just be up to the rest of us to refuse to pay over inflated prices. Normal ess is still good to make the 'standard' runes - only complaint I have is I now need to allow an extra slot in my bank account. That is going to hurt! With RCing, Farming, Herblore and mining there are very few spare slots available!

Give the man / woman a well deserved gold star (or a date with the Monster of their choice) for a very well written article. We are all very quick to point the finger and carry on for ages about the shortcomings od Jagex - but how many other popular games of this type can be played for free? For this very reason RS was picked to study peoples gaming habits (see http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/technology/4774534.stm ) For those that do P2P - the fees are a lot less. It really is up to us to make the place better for all - so perhaps at times we should congratulate them about things they do get right - also rather than ranting about an aspect we do not like, perhaps it would be better to try and suggest an improvement
