  2. 778 - I claim a moral victory due to the above post having the wrong number!
  3. 776 - i could cheat...
  4. E=MC Hammer How many planets are there
  5. Depends on if it kipples Is the reading of books a forgotten pasttime?
  6. 771 Must try and get the post 6 after this...
  7. 5/10 Recognise the sig and avvy
  8. Oooh - so close! Well working on my third 500 anyway! Hmmmm :-k around 1800
  9. Well I recognised it - must be because my hole is over the border in Wales. 5/10
  10. I dont think this will mean the end of the fire cape - you get that as a reward and proof you have completed a very difficult task. Its a bit like the Legends Cape and Obby cape - the obby cape has better stats, but anyone can buy one. If you are wearing a legends cape it means you have completed a rather difficult quest. I bet we see some people just standing around keep on switching capes to show how many lvl 99s they have got.
  11. If you have done Royal Trouble you can certainly use the bank there - and that is just North East of the point the boat drops you off. This is my method for collecting a number - its free no runes aor cash involved. I usually do 1 or 2 trips every time I pop over to Manage my Kingdom As for low levels collecting the Snape Grass from Waterbirth - well you do need to watch out for those rock crabs...
  12. Well a welcome to the Tip.it forums from one old player to another. (I'm from the 1962 batch)
  13. The strange fruit restores 30% of your energy - so the same as a 3 dose Energy potion. Usefull in quests like Monkey Madness, where a lot of running is involved.
  14. Nice guide - pretty clear. As for cutting your own logs into bows - well thats half the experience points! While doing that not only can you wrack up the exp, you can carry on chatting to friends as your character stands there and cuts the logs into unstrungs.
  15. Baskets of strawberries! Each basket holds 5 strawberries, each strawberry heals 7 hp so a basket heals 35. Just eat a strawberry when your health falls around the 10 mark and you can stay in there for ages. Remember to leave 1 space empty to take a strawberry out of the basket.
  16. You can also save up the keys and open the coffins just outside the entrance - no Zogres / Skogres to worry about then. You can also attempt to use your thieving skills on them. A caution though - if you try lockpicking the coffins outside the entrance and get caught, you get knocked out and wake up in the depths of the dungon.
  17. Sorry! Did not mean to disturb your concentration. I think you will find Hickton in Catherby trades in brutal arrows and composite bows. Never seen any in stock though. I know what you mean about POHs, not rich enough to afford a nice altar myself - though I do have a few friends who have. (Most of my housebuilding has been subcontracted to Juna) Tesco's are right about every little helping, but one of the factors you need to consider is time. In the time taken to collect slime, grind bones and pray at the ecto - how many loads of bones could you have buried in a POH located in Yanille? When writing a guide you need to consider alternative means of achieving an end. Different methods work best for different people. A guide should mention the different methods and allow players to decide which way is best for them. This is intended as constructive criticism ̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Ãâ so don̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t take it the wrong way. It̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s a nice guide, just needs filling out a bit in a few areas.
  18. Just a little question - you sure those arrows are non tradeable? If not, is this a recent change? Reson I ask is, I am pretty sure I was given a whole load of black brutals a while back when I had to go down there for some reason. (I may be wrong and it may just have been black nails - they say the memory is quick to go amongst the old! ) Dont forget, using an altar in a POH could give you nearly as many exp as the ecto, for far less work Anyway, nice little guide. :-k I need to work on my range - this may have inspired me to pop down there for a bit of training.
  19. If you look in the crafting guide, details of all enchanted jewellery that players can make is given. http://tip.it/runescape/?page=crafting_guide.htm#jewels
  20. I think you have to register on the main RuneScape forums and they let you know http://[Please Use QuickFind Code].com/lang/en/aff/runescape/[Please Use QuickFind Code]?53,54,352,29141116
  21. Well if you saw someone selling one and another person nearby offering a lot to buy one i would suspect it is a scam. Not come across one myself and if there was an in game item that was worth 14mil I am pretty sure it would have been discussed. In order to examine it and test the actions I assume you must have found one - where did you get it from?
  22. Another option is to get some help... there is a product called Hijackthis that identifies everything running on your PC - this produces a log. You can take this log and submit it to trusted security sites and people will help you out and advise things that you may not want to have on your PC. Here is a link to one such site and instructions on using HijackThis http://www.webuser.co.uk/forums/showflat.php/Cat/0/Board/hijackthis/Number/101029/an/0/view/collapsed/

When people say others are getting obsessed by losing pixels or "it's only pixels" what they are saying is "It's only a game". People rant about things they have lost and how much gold it has cost them, but at the end of the day - everything is just pixels in a game. Effectively everything is free because you can either make anything or make or gather things to sell to earn money to buy the thing you want. As the things you made or sold were free, the money is free and the thing you buy is free. On the flip side - what you have actually lost is time. Anything in the game takes time to do. Be it training in slayer so you have got to level 85 and finally got a whole heap of whips to sell so you can buy a party hat. Or standing by the spinning wheel trading flax for bow strings and selling those to get money etc etc. Both take your time. So, once you have got the object of your desires, you wander along, het attacked by an evil chicken, your connection laggs, you die and lose some of your stuff including this item you have been working so hard to obtain. You bemoan your loss - understandable. People tell you not to get soo worked up about it because "its only pixels" - so you could do it all over again if you had a mind to. But each of those pixels represents time that can never be regained - so in my opionion people have a right to grieve about their lost pixels. what they are actually upset about is the loss of the time it took to obtain that particular set of pixels in the first place.
  24. I would say do the Creature of Frankenstrain quest, get the Ring of charos and play a few rounds of skullball.
