NEW! Should skillcapes become f2p items
What kind of crap is that?!?! You can't afford to be p2p so youu can't play runescape at all!?!?! I mean if someone who is f2p claims that they cannot buy a membership due to financial problems, then maybe they should prioritize things in their life, such as WORKING and not PLAYING games. gf twisting my statements. Their life is plenty prioritized. Perhaps they want to play a game to escape reality for a few hours a week. What's wrong with that? Nothing. Everyone does it when they play any kind of game, really. Or did we forget that RS is still just a game? Yes an achievement is an achievement. Now go buy a membership and get that skillcape you're so seriously obsessed with, or you could just rant and complain about it and hope it falls into your hands. Ok with the name calling again, 'elitist' are you serious? I recognize that skillcapes are members (for now at least). Yes, elitist, the belief that just because you pay cash, you deserve better things or rewards, and those that don't deserve to get shipped to Timbuktu. I'm glad that we're able to establish that an achievement is an achievement whether you pay or not, but in no way will your $6 be devalued if you let F2P have skillcapes for their skills. You have so much more than them, but you complain that this one little thing is leaving your grasp. Lighten up, dude. And by this comment i'm guessing you are speaking directly to me. If you consider posting my opinions as a 'right to complain because i spent 6$', then all i can say is, God bless you my friend. ;) Actually, I was stating that to most everyone, since everyone's favorite argument with these debates boils down to money. Players (not just yourself) should be more open to updates for everyone, since what F2P gets, you'll get too. What you're really doing isn't complaining. You're having a tantrum about it. So I made that statement. Again, as I said before: Ok, well good job portraying me as the crazy one here when i was simply stating and defending my opinion.

1) Maybe there 13 and can't work and there perants don't want to pay for the kid to play an online game that costs £42 a year 2) I never twisted anything, I said what you said and responded to it. So gf yourself :twss: You must be unaware of all the methods there are in obtaining a membership. Oh, and maybe you should think a little longer before you respond. Yeah, unless you work, you can't play games! lol que?

Your 'basis' is fail. 1) Buy a membership? It's not hard granted there are some exceptions such as location. As for financial problems, you shouldn't even be playing rs if you're having these problems. 2) Makes no sense And for the record who was telling jagex how to run their game?

NEW! Should skillcapes become f2p items
How about you give it a break buddy? I never said f2p shouldn't get updates, just skill capes. And for the record, they don't deserve it because they don't pay for it like members do. And quite frankly, they spend YEARS training skills to 99 because they choose not to buy a MEMBERSHIP. So, do i feel a guy who cooks shrimp to 99 should get a skill cape like the guy who cooks sharks to 99? no, because he chooses the hard way. inb4 i get called something ridiculous, again. Um u said that jagex dosent care about how hard they work for a 99 skill... And u got proven wrong with proof of 2 mods = Owned so you're telling me 2 mods represents the entirety of jagex? gf

Defense Ranger Questions ( Range Tank?) F2p, Alot of opinion
i don't mean to hijack thread but are maxed range tanks effective in f2p? I'm currently in the makings of one also (65 att, 65 str, 92 def, 77 range, 43/44 prayer, 84 hp).

Stuff I hate about RS
i agree, but what can one do?

Why slayer?
for meh: efficiency > diversity

Love it or Leave it
inb4you probably wont even read this. viewtopic.php?f=151&t=803533 i dunno about the 'playing out ones fantasy' part but i do enjoy competition and some interaction Yes, 'worked up over such things is not necessary', much like many of these threads. I understand being dissapointed with certain aspects or updates, but i don't lose sleep over them. I just keep on keeping on. inb4 'u dunno wut itz liek loosing 250milll'

99 for profit?
this. Fishing or woodcutting is good if you're a laid back player. Hunter/runecrafting/mining + smithing if you like to pay attention. On another note mining/smithing cape is very respectable if you're looking for some e-spect but don't do it if you don't enjoy it.

shared or accurate..
Yea i was debating over 99 att or raising my def along with my att and str since it's lagging. My att str and hp are less than like 50k xp away from eachother and since the aggros i'm training on are mostly 2 hitters, i wouldn't think the higher att level would make that big of a difference. edit: not a slayer fan either...maybe oneday tho
-
shared or accurate..
finally a post that makes sense
-
shared or accurate..
original idea: shared xp or accurate xp at 2 hit aggro training spot, pros/cons
-
shared or accurate..
it really doesnt matter how many hits you take to kill the monster...its the same if you 1 hit a chickenm or 1 hit the corp. beast explain then
-
shared or accurate..
yea i heard about that but i dont think it will have much of a difference since i'm 2 hitting aggros but all input appreciated
-
shared or accurate..
well i'm basically two hitting ghostly warriors so i dunno if that plays any part or not
-
shared or accurate..
i'm a very patient person. just looking for pros/cons of either 99 att first or shared xp.
-
shared or accurate..
should i use shared for att str and def (stats in sig) or should i raise att to 99 first? convince me.
-
How to get around 1.2m with these stats?
try skilling, you might actually like it
-
aggressive training
ghostly warriors bro. previously i was ranging flesh crawlers but too many people are after them. i read the guide on ghostly warriors and decided to try them out. Good afk xp and the rune drops are pretty good. I could literally camp there for days with guthans for healing but i have to go to the bank every so often for more super att pots.

Is there any non-expensive way to train Prayer?
surprised nobody mentioned quests. there are quests that give decent prayer xp and by the looks of it you haven't done too many of them.
-
servants and houses
that sounds good...maybe i could put the bedrooms upstairs? i'd most likely never go up there anyways.
-
servants and houses
are servants needed for a functional house? I'm thinking about building an efficient house with only the rooms that i would find useful but it says you need 2 bedrooms if you plan on getting a servant. I can tele and bank without the use of a servant, so i really don't find much use for him.
