So you've been around the block?
Mods feel free to lock if you feel there's no discussion value. Just thinking about how runescape was several years ago compared to today and the events that happened through it's history i guess you could say. I started playing a year or 2 after rs2 came out but here's some events that happened that made me feel as though i've been around the block (you're only oldschool if you've played since classic). -slayer released -farming released -construction released; oaks jumped up from 30 to 300gp for a few days which i made my first million with the oaks i powercut -wildy without a ditch -crossbows firing faster than shortbows -autoers with the generic clothing -sharks dropping down to 500 ea due to autoers -fally massacre -when climbing boots pwned -zezima and more i can't think of

Problems like these are usually instigated. I've only had this problem a few times throughout rs and it's nothing to rage about, just keep on keeping on.

NEW! Should skillcapes become f2p items
stop spending 5 dollars on vending machines and buy a membership troll

NEW! Should skillcapes become f2p items
I agree, why even continue playing if you don't like that you can't have member content? Why get a 99? Skillcapes are member content and should never be made f2p. Yes they have to work harder for a 99, but if they're patient enough to go for a 99, why cant they make it easier by paying for membership? this is exactly what i was trying to point out earlier in this thread before i got e-raped for my opinions. There is nothing hard about buying a membership. Imo it would be nice for f2p to have skillcapes also, but what is so freaking hard about buying a month's membership? And the "i want to stay f2p pure" argument is invalid, whoever says this brings this upon themselves.

NEW! Should skillcapes become f2p items
I also belive if you get a 99 you deserve a skill cape, now go buy yourself a membership and get one. But oops! I don't want a membership so i'll rant and complain about them until jagex makes them f2p because i chose to work harder leveling up in a freeworld. Or how about this, i can't afford 5$ a month! I don't wanna ask or take time to go to the local 711 or walmart ffs to buy one. Granted there are exceptions. amivergingontrollingnao? Yes, big time! As a reply to what you say, that's simple greed on your behalf. "If you get a 99 (Which is an achievement..) you deserve a skillcape (Of Achievement..)" It doesn't have to stay members only, I don't know where everyone gets this idea. F2p having skillcapes of achievement is a wonderful thing. Also, I don't see many F2p'ers that have 99's actually rant about wanting skillcapes. Most are perfectly fine without them, if they had them it'd be so much better though! I know several very high level'd F2p'ers, some maxed, they're fine without the capes. Don't get this idea into your head that they're all whining kids, that's just ridiculous. Alright i give in. Honestly it would be nice if freeplayers could have them. But is it honestly that hard buying a membership? I could see why you said simple greed on my part and i accept this, because i had to buy a membership (but not for the skillcape). And yes, i might have stereotyped a bit when it comes to f2pers but they've given themselves a bad rap.
