1. nobody cares what you consider because you are not 99% of the runescape population 2. you are not OP and you don't know his motives for an easy 99 1. I guarantee 99% of the RS population doesn't think Cooking, Firemaking, or Fletching are achievements. 2. I can read. Obviously he wants more capes with minimal cost to himself. To show off that he has 3 or so capes? No idea. But it seems like he is asking what stuff is the easiest so he can get it and "show it off" or something of the sort. so much bias in favor of slayer and a "respectable" 99's in this section. There always has to be one [wagon] who has to put down someone else's goals. If op straight out said he wanted easy skills capes to impress others or something to the same idea then I'd agree with you rather than disagree.

Its people like you that make me hate the people who have the easy skillcapes. So go earn a few mil and buy one yourself. Why hate? Because I'm not that desperate to trim my skillcape that I have to buy the quickest skill to trim. I wouldn't consider having goals to be desperate.

It all depends on the situation but scimitar all around. :) Here's an avi photo from another forum. Can't find original size so it'll have to do. Deadlifting around 565lbs(256.8kg) at around 88kg bodyweight(193lbs). As for benching, my last personal record was 305lbs (138.6kg). I'm currently peaking back into flats and should hit around 315lbs (413.3kg) the end of this month. Bench is my weakpoint unfortunately. It sounds to me like you're doing something similar to crossfit. I don't think you'll see much development only going at it once a week but again you didn't really specify your goals. I emphasize goals because it's not as simple as some believe it is. Powerlifters, bodybuilders, crossfitters, football players, track runners etc have different training protocols.

First time I've browsed this section as I'm usually out browsing other exercise-orientated forums. I compete in powerlifting as a hobby. With several more months of training I could become an "elite" level lifter in my weight class (198). Unfortunately, or fortunately, I will be heading off to parris island to join the USMC so my strength goals will be put off for awhile but my knowledge and experience is still retained. I've totaled officially @ 1323 lbs in squat/bench/deadlift and unofficially @ 1354 at the current age of 19. God willing I might possibly become elite level status at my next meet the end of this month with a total of at least 1396. The only thing guaranteed at this next meet is breaking 2(possibly 3) american records in my age/weight division which should have already been changed but due to bs with the judges is not. routines/splits/exercises/sets/reps/supps etc feel free to ask away and I'll give advice to the best of my knowledge that suits your goals.

You're making this sound like supplements are steroids. You can stay 'natural' and still take supplements. (creatine, NObooster, protein etc..)

Um, no. Bronze arrows are in short supply, not expensive. There's a 1k cap in the shop and takes forever to respawn or buy off gp. It's not even worth making yourself and tbh it was better if jagex just left the unlimited shop alone unless someone here can counter this statement, which noone has yet. I ended up ponying up the money for mems. I found steel darts the best option to train with in comparison to prices/speed of arrows and knives. Ava's saves me gp and time that f2p would have otherwise left me without. Strong straying from original topic ITT..

Returning to Members after 3 year break... HELP
un4given replied to eyeye's topic in Help and Advice
Lmao this isn't even a "best to train" thread and slayer has already been recommended... OP, you should skill until you get some decent gp. This will allow you to catch up on the updates until you decide to do something else. -
still waiting for someone to show me this "big picture"

Unfortunately the op wasn't very specific and left us up in the air when it comes to training. I was merely pointing out in my first post this forums strong obsession with slayer, which was true several years ago as it is today. Then yadda yadda my method is horrible yadda yadda slayer is best because yadda yadda yadda same [cabbage] that was said years ago as pointed out in the slayer sucks rant. It all boils down to preferences which basically sums up every argument for and against slayer. Keep ranting kid. The truth hurts. oh wait...I already said that. I suggest you reread my post you quoted. You're obviously upset and it's not registering with you. Try counting backwards from ten and then reread. thanks. :)

All right let me cut straight to the chase here son, because you obviously haven't been on this boat long enough. And I say boat as in forum just incase that slips past your head too. The argument that slayer is the "best" form of cb training or strength training in this case is as old as these forums. Different strokes for different folks. I'll leave it at that.
-
Maybe you should reread my post.
-
Very easy to use. Dunno why everyone feels the need to split hairs here.

The reason there is an Obsession with slayer is because, if you EVER plan on training slayer, it is more efficient time-wise to train your combat stats doing it. There is no sense camping monsters for 99s, and THEN get 99 slayer, when you could have done it at the same time. Also, in all honesty, camping at one monster is boring as [cabbage] to me. -------------------------------------------------------------------- Anyways, since you can't do Armoured Zombies, you could try the money zombies on ape atoll instead. They work the same as the Zombies in that they're undead, so you use a Salve amulet. There is also an altar near by, so you can use constant prayer. Bandits and SoS spiders are also popular methods. ---------------------------------------- There's very little use for a Slayer ring if you use Kuradal. I've yet to unlock the ability to make rings, simply because I'd rarely use them. I only ever use them for Spectre and Terror Dog tasks. Join date: 26-January 10 Same arguement 5 years ago. Not everyone here has the same mindset as you and why are you assuming OP wants 99 slayer?
-
What's inexpensive to you may seem expensive to others. Combat pots are ideal, not awful. I've dharoked in the tunnels and the slightlest mistake will cost you, not including the cost of prayer pots. What is EE? Assuming enhanced excalibur. Basically a free shark at the cost of your spec bar.
-
Once again the obsession with slayer is strong on these forums.. OP I've been training at bandits from 95-99 att and currently 92-95 str and still going. The afk-ability is high (if that's what you're into) as long as you have a bunyip, EE and guthans as backup. I usually use combat pots since they're cheap and can easily be paid for with herb drops from bandits.

Too much fast-twitch gaming has burnt me out, which is why I came back to runescape. More laidback and slow-twitch.

what progress lmao.

Train your cook? Raw tuna costs 157 and cooked sells back for 154 at the ge last time I checked.

~90k fletching xp an hour - should I be faster?
un4given replied to kodaxor's topic in Help and Advice
Just about anything on rs can be considered boring. Nothing wrong with setting goals and achieving them. -
I failed to remember that. Any ideas on how to put my chaos runes to use? I used up about 50k of them in the past maging irons/steels.
-
Is it similar to maging irons/steels in brimhaven dungeon? I have 200k chaos that I don't mind putting to good use.
-
examples? Bronze knives and bronze arrows were more expensive in the GE. You could go to shops and buy unlimited for slightly cheaper. I'm just trying to comprehend how rich I'd be right now if I invested all my gp in bronze knives.. I don't pick up my arrows so bronze is ideal. 1 iron arrow costs the same as 3 bronze arrows. I'll take the bronze.

If this were the case I doubt he'd be collecting his own bones.
