  1. Theorettically when they show to other players they're fair game, I remember reading a response from Jagex Customer services somewhere. But morally I think those people are pathetic. You can recognize them instantly, they hang around you for a while, killing things nearby or just standing there and when your arrows show they jump for it. I had a lvl 82 do it to me the other day with steel arrows, he gained the shocking amount 27 arrows. I asked politely if I could have them back, but he just laughed at me, so I asked him if his mother was proud of him doing stuff like this  My opinion on this? I think we should have a remote with a big red button on it, when other people pick up my arrows I just push the red button and the arrows will explode in their inventory skulling them before doing 100 damage, splattering their insides all over the place along with their possesions and MY arrows. But hey, that's just me
  2. Grow snapdragon seeds. If you plant them in all the different herb patches, that's probably about 30 snapdragons or more after they're grown. (with super compost, anyway) But the seeds are expensive and still a percentage will die (I once had a round of farming where 3 out of 4 rannar seeds died  ). I hate to spend money on something to have it just die and I'm certainly not going to stand next to the patch alching for 70 minutes.
  3. It's the bad apples that make up the general opinion on the use of a cannon. I mean the people that set up a cannon in the already crowded waterfall caves or daganoth caves when there's already 6-8 people there. Don't get me wrong here, I have a cannon, I use it for slayer regularly, but I think setting it up when there's already competition over spawns is just plain rude.
  4. Pretty much every barrows guide mentions the fact that you should bring a SPADE with you...
  5. Doing slayer is where I get my combat xp. I think I started it at about your combat level and I'm now 104cb with 76 slayer. Most slayer monsters have great drops (dragon, mystic, rune and clues) and with Guthans and maybe a cannon you'll race through the assignments.
  6. To get pouches you need to do the miniquest that starts at the zamorak mage just north of edgeville. Upon completing the quest you get the smallest pouch. The other pouches you get by killing monsters in the abyss, but be carefull they hit pretty hard and fast. The best thing is to bring full rune and some food, but you should do this on a world without pkers. Inside the abyss you can no longer be attacked by other players, so besides the monster it's pretty safe. In the abyss move to the west side of the ring, there's a spot there with a lot of leeches and without walkers and guardians. Kill the leeches untill you got all desired pouches. There are 4 different pouches and you can only have one of each. The smallest pouch requires a runecraft lvl of 1 to use, the medium one lvl 25, the large one lvl 50 and the gaint one lvl 75 rc. The use of pouches is pretty simple. Have in your inventory the pouch you want to use and enough essence to fill it. Now click the fill pouch option and your essence is transfered into the pouch. Inside the altar you can click the empty pouch option and get them back out. The small pouch holds 3 ess, the medium on holds 6, the large one holds 9 and the giant pouch holds 12 ess. When going to the zamorak mage or the abyss allways be carefull of pkers, so make sure you have a teleport with you or scout out the area first without any stuff on you.
  7. It's very boring whichever way you do it. If you worldhop to buy chaos you need to get lucky and find full stocks, if you go the combat way you have to get lucky on the drops. I'm currently combining both ways, already sold 14k chaos and 3k deaths, then I went through 500 lobsters to hope for some nice drops. I killed the 149s only, and got 2 capes and 1 maul and about 5k tokkul from drops. I'm still doubting wether I should sell the capes to players for cash and buy chaos with them or sell them to the shop. The shop will give me 9k tokkul, and I think an obby cape is still worth more then 100k cash (which gives you 1k chaos). 240k tokkul and counting :)
  8. I tried barrows but no luck, 30+ trips in and nothing yet. Luckily I already broke even the second day after release by selling 2k oak planks for the rediculous amount of 1.5k each. Also miscelenia treats me well with seeds and maples (I seem to be getting a lot of eggs to, already got 7 reds and 3 blues  ) The maples market is weird though, sometimes everyone is selling at 100 each, then I find a buyer at 150 each :? Not that I'm complaining...
  9. Since theyre gonna do another quest in the lost tribe series, which is about a mining community that has been hidden for years, in a cave, with a lot of rocks to mine, with mining helmets, and a guy that buys ores, it seems perfectly logical to me that they will bring the dragon warhammer next  No, seriously, just look at the signs, lost tribe series continued, dragon pickaxe picture removed from highscores, dragon axe was the previous (unexpected) released dragon "weapon", my money is on the dragon pickaxe. I'm wondering about the special though and I'm sorta hoping for a "mine all ores within a 2 square radius within one hit" special that uses the entire spec bar. Unlikely though, since the dragon axe has a PvP oriented special, so I guess the pickaxe will too. Maybe the special will turn your opponents armour back into ores

Could you please, pretty please with sugar on top try if you get the stuffed fish back when you remove it from the wall? You have 3 anyways so you got some leftover
  11. Hmm, for how many tasks have you tried this? It could be just coincedence. Well I guess it's just another method I can try to keep the metal dragons out of my hit list :)
  12. Don't ever hand out stuff you really need back. I sometimes loan friends money, usually up to 250k, but since I got 20M+ in cash I don't really mind if I don't get it back. But if one of my friends asks me to loan him 5M I probably wouldn't do it because that's a big part of my funds and I couldn't afford to miss it. So don't loan people stuff you can't afford to miss even if theyre your closest friends. Ask for collateral.
  13. yes, 232 people can be wrong when they never do any good thinking As a matter of fact Hitler was elected by a lot more then 232 people and I think we can agree they were pretty wrong. If you wanted a discussion about the mining petition, you should have posted IN that topic, not create another one.
  14. I wonder if it's too late to make a new account for this  Nah I'll just bring my main, I don't mind dying to pkers, I even managed to kill one the other day by litterally kicking his butt
  15. When people give out advice that is false they waste others time. What if the person seeking advice took this person on their word, worked for 3 months to get 90 slayer, or worse 85 +with like 500 Wild pies, and then wasted multiple prayer pots and all their free time hoping for the "easy" Left half of a shield. They would be pretty annoyed wouldn't they? Now if he was 90 slayer and said he killed 5k and got 50 Left drops it would be 1 thing. But he doesn't have the level. Nor have I in my entire time playing seen anyone post that this rumor is substantiated. Rather it was something created in the minds of those without the level when the creature was first introduced. They also said it dropped a ring of Fury, which gave you two specials. That lie was debunked, yet you people hold on to the common dragon drop lie. It's a shame really. If correcting people who are feeding thecommunity a line of crap is arrogant, I'm proud to be so if it saves even one person some time not following anothers lie. Your post talking crap comes off as jealousy. This topic and the many like should be in help and advice. Now stop crying :( It's not really arrogance, it's more like being bluntly honest with a hint of sarcasm here and there. Sure it takes a while to get used to, but you'll have to admit Jack usually hits the nail right on the head. On topic: the most reliable way would be 91 rc if you got luck on your side, barrows, kq and dk
  16. The only crystal I've ever seen in bank pictures is the reward crystal, from mep2, I've never seen colored crystals in a bank. The reason for forcing you to keep them on you is probably so you won't lose them, or that you find out you left it in your bank after reaching the second level of the puzzle place and having to go all the way back. My guess is that you can put it back in the bin you got it from, not the chest, but the bin under the lever (be carefull not to pull the lever by accident  ). If that's not the case there's no other option then to destroy it.
  17. Some monsters are agressive by nature, but won't attack you when your level is too high. When your combat level is 2 times their level +1, they won't attack you anymore.
  18. Forgive me for not reading the entire topic (it's kinda huge), but I was wondering where you are going to post the results when you're done? I see some scattered results on the previous page, but are they going to be summarized in one big post, maybe even a new topic? Too bad I didn't see this topic earlier, I would have loved to do barrows with a scientific goal :D
  19. It happened to me aswell and it only happens with guthan. I think what happens is that you kill him the instant he does his healing special on you. The healing makes him survive the but since you already got the killcount he dissappears with that message. The message is not a bug though, it's just the default message for when you pull a Brave Sir Robin* on a barrow brother. * For those of you who don't know Monty Python and the Holy Grail: Brave Sir Robin was one of Arthurs knights that went in search for the Holy Grail and ran at the first sign of trouble: He bravely ran away, away!
  20. If you left the final door open, there's no need to keep the crystal. The warning only tells you that you can infact get the crystal back, but you have to pull the lever, which resets your set-up completely.
  21. You probably have not talked to the statue of the three monkeys yet, it's the famous one with one holding his ears, one holding it's eyes, one holding it's mouth. I think it's in the temple with the big gorillas, in the northwest part. They will tell you a long story about that you can't use normal nuts and that you'd have to find special ones. After that you can pick them from the bush.
  22. Don't forget your antipoison when going to fight the demon, there's poison spiders all over the place.
  23. A tip to kill the gorillas for low levels: save your specials for last. The instant he regenerates switch to dds and spec him 4 times, with a little luck you'll kill him before he regenerates again.
  24. I present to you the guide which I will use to get my firecape (when I can find the time to stay online for 2 hours without interruption): http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=462229 The best guide on the topic IMO. It takes a while to download all the videos due to download limits, but it's sure worth watching them. Good luck getting a firecape and good luck quitting
  25. Play Runescape and learn grammar at the same time. Maybe they're looking for funds from the government and the one condition was that they put some educational aspects in the game
