  1. Pink skirt? There's no such thing, it's more of a lightish red
  2. I thought skeleton mages already exist? Aren't there some in the waterfall dungeon in the room where you get the key from during the quest? EDIT: I guessed right, even though they're only level 16 :) http://tip.it/runescape/index.php?rs2monster_id=122
  3. Tears of Guthix weekly minigame? Or you might want to try and actually plant and harvest some stuff
  4. Holy  ! That has to be in the top 3 xp rewards of all quests. Man I can't wait to get home and do this quest!

WRONG. You cannot say that all people that buy skills also buy money, that's very short sighted. And even though you can buy a skill doesn't mean you have to. I have 99 fletching, but I never bought a single gp. I even selected the sellers of magics I bought from. I would get regular offers from people with <50cb and their only highscore skill wc, trying to sell me up to 6k magics at once. All these traded I declined and reported. I bough my magics from people with a decent combat levels and usually at lower quantities (less then 200 usually). Only once did I buy a large amount of magics and that was from someone I had been chopping magics with for almost an hour. Besides the magics I handpicked my flax, all of it, for every bowstring since lvl 70 fletching. I personally made it into bowstrings or had a trusted friend help me out. All the needed natures? Crafted them myself when I needed them. The essence was bought from some f2p friends, at 40 each. I still have to craft some 12k natures to alch my leftovers from 99 fletching, but I will craft them, not buy them. On the original topic: In runescape some of the same processes happen as in real society, but you can't compare them. Runescape is played by people who can afford a computer and internet connection, and have the free time to play a game (which is actually a bigger luxury then most people realize). Illegal aliens attempting to cross the border usually do so because they have a hard time feeding their families. There is just no way you can compare this.
  7. You'd definately need a friend, either to drop food for you or be the target for the icewolves you need to walk through. Since you can't protect from melee going alone would almost certainly get you killed at the wolves. I also recommend taking 2 trips there, 1 to kill the 5 trolls to remove the ice bars in front of the cave and another trip for Kamil.
  8. I smell the return of Fatigue :( Man do I ever hope you're wrong on that one! Besides, it wouldn't stop autoers, if anything isn't bothered by having to sleep from time to time it's autoers. They're usually active for hours on end, unlike (most) real players.
  9. I wonder what this is. It's not yet in the knowledge base fishing skill manual, could anyone check the ingame manual for the required fishing level? Another food item added and it's in an area with a bank... I wonder how much it heals...
  10. D'oh! I'm still at work, can't start the quest for another 3 hours :( Now I'll have to decide: read the forums and find out from others or do the quest all on my own. Argh! I want to know his mystery!
  11. Gameplay update! Will I finally experience the sounds and song of runescape on my patched together McGuyvered connection? *dreams of the endless possibilities* Man I can't wait to see what the WOM quest will bring us. I've done quite a lot of tasks for him but never got to kill the mysterious monster under his bed :x Maybe we even get to learn the spell he used in the bank robbery  I wonder what chairs will do... maybe you can alch while sitting down or pull up a chair while ranging from a safe spot
  12. I think you'll have a hard time finding someone willing to try out what its worth, by let's say having 4 dragon weapons in their inventory and a fire cape, then killing them  My guess is that if the people in the video got them back easily all you have to do is go back to the guard that gave you the cape, cry your eyes out and get a new one, like with every other 'single' item in game.
  13. I don't like paying attention when doing agil  Nice alternative for others though :D The agility arena is NOT worth it in terms of agilty xp. I got 1k tickets there at lvl 66 agility (I only missed the arrow once and that was because of lag) and found that even when you turn in your 1k tickets for 320k xp you only average 5.4k xp per hour. Getting 1k tickets takes about 17 hours since the arrow only moves every minute, 17 hours on every other course (not too sure about gnome course, but who would train there after lvl 35 agility) would get you way more xp. I think that the agility arena is not even worth it in terms of herbs. I'm not sure on how many tickets you need per herb but I think that you could easily go plant your herbs at 2 patches, go run laps for an hour and a bit, harvest, replant and go back to running. IMO currently the best place to train agility is the monkey course. No pkers, food right next to the course (pineapple plant + fishing spot) and with energy pots it's easily 60k xp per hour (42 without), after lvl 74 I never failed an obstacle.
  14. As much as I like this idea, I think there's an easier solution already mentioned: an agressive low level monster around the trees. It doesn't even need to be such a high level monster, level 7 would do (rabbid squirl sounds fun to me :D ) With 10 hp all the autoers would end up in Lumby before you know it.
  15. Great looking guide, I've allways been kind of a skiller, but gained a whole lot of combat levels from 76 (and rising) slayer. A thing I like to do while skilling is listen to audiobooks. I got my 81 agility yesterday while listening to 'A short history of nearly everything' by Bill Bryson. Audiobooks are especially usefull for skills you need to look at your screen for or click a lot like agility, firemaking or alching. Farming is a great skill to do inbetween others. You can go plant at 2 or 3 locations, then do a slayer assignment, or hang around in Catherby cutting yews or willows, or fish lobsters/sharks. A thing to mention is the combination of firemaking, crafting, combat, woodcutting and prayer leveling by shade burning. There's a great guide on this (it's actually about splitbark, but very usefull for prayer xp aswell): http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=435487 I think you get 100k prayer xp and 400k firemaking xp for burning 1k of the highest level shades. I had a question on crafting: I've been to Bert (from Hand in the Sand) a lot of times now and I think I have almost 2k sand in my bank now. What would you recommend making of that? I know the best xp is air battlestaffs but I don't really feel like hopping worlds some 400 times to get the 'empty' battlestaffs. I was thinking about making them into vials so I could use them in herblore but it seems like such a waste to me.

  17. Magics give 1.5 times as much fm xp as yews (300 vs 200 xp ea). This would mean you will need to burn 1.5 times more yews for the same amount of xp. So if you would chop 1.5 times more yews per hour then magics, magics would be faster because you spend less time burning. Therefor if you chop more then 1.5 times yews per hour then magics, lets say 2 times more, then yews is faster. All you have to do is time how many magics you can chop in 1 hour, then time how much yews you chop per hour and then calculate the difference. Personally I can't stand chopping magics because it is so slow, so I can't give you an estimate on how much you'll get per hour. The magics near Lleyta (I think there are 3 there) are not as crowded as the place south of Seers or at the mage training area, but there's usually a couple of people there.
  18. Don't do your agility training at the brimhaven arena, getting 1k tickets is NOT worth it. I've done it twice and recorded my xp during the second time, I averaged about 410xp per ticket (320 for 'selling' it and 90 for reaching the pilar) and since the arrow moves about once per minute you get only 5.4k xp per hour. Not to mention it takes 17 horrible hours to get 1k tickets. With your agility level the monkey course is a good alternative, you'll hardly ever fail there and get 40-43k xp per hour. With energy pots I get easily 60k per hour. Chopping magics for firemaking breaks my heart, not only because you could make so much money of it selling them or fletching them but also because it's very slow chopping. I think you're better of chopping yews, it's lower fm xp but they chop way faster. Your other goals look good to me, personally I'd start with slayer and do nothing else during my three months membership, but that's just me :P
  19. The only thing I use my willow and maple roots for is making super compost.
  20. You need to range them to be able to hurt them.

  22. I had a hard time finding it too, I think it can jump up to 10 squares to either side because for me it wasn't even close to the icon on the map.
  23. :o I can't believe they removed the landmarks to a recently added clue, that's just plain stupid. What did you do? Dig every spot in sight or did you remember where abouts it was?
  24. Too bad my connection isn't good enough to be on full worlds otherwise I'd be joining the takeover of world 9 for tip.it purposes only. It wouldn't be the first world I conquer muhahaha  ... *cough* ahem  , nothing to see here, carry on.
  25. LOL... And your comment was necessary? When my entire point was exactly what you just said... Please... get over yourself. If you didn't see my point, you shouldn't of bothered to comment. My entire point was for him to not be so petty when he himself made a similar mistake. kthxbye EDIT: And for the record... my comment was NOT a flame. Someone likes to over exagerate. I like the fact that you chose to comment on this bit of my post and completely ignored the rest. Sure this one line didn't have to be in there, but the main part of my post is on the topic. If you feel like making a comment like this about my posts, just send me a pm so the thread won't go off-topic. Now back on topic: it seems that most people want the game to have different access for lower levels and higher levels, but the problem is where to end the one group and start the next. A level 60 that has knows how to play the game can be a great help in winning even though he is likely to die more often. On the other hand a level 80 that is just fooling around can cause you to lose the game. So having portals for different levels will keep a lot of noobs out of the high level game but it's not a complete solution, because it's not just levels that are important, it's their determination to playing a good game or just goofing of. This problem can be solved by having one leader that can accept others to the boat. This could work by adding the wanted people to a list or by having everyone that wants on the boat send him a 'join'-request just like with trading or dueling. Now the problem is who gets to be the leader, this could either be the one with the largest group of accepted people or someone that pays for it. A great advantage of paying to be the leader is that low level people usually don't have that much money and certainly don't want to spend it on a minigame.
