If you reach evil Bob's prison you've gone too far :lol: You don't NEED money to raise skills, even though it makes it a lot easier. If you'd keep everything you ever mined/chopped/fished/farmed you could easily raise the skill you need raw materials for. For example chopping 1 yew log gives less xp then burning 1 yew log. So if you'd go from 60 wc to 99 it would give you more logs then you'd need for 60-99 firemaking. The leftover yews you could use for fletching. I'm not saying I don't buy raw materials, because I've done a lot of that, but I'm saying that money=skills is the easy way, not the only way out. It would be a fun experiment to start an account and never buy anything, get all your own materials. A fun experiment to watch, pretty hard to do I reckon :)

Don't forget the monkey course, I trained there from 73 to 81 agility and it is about the same xp per hour as the wildy course, but without the pkers. From lvl 74 onwards I never failed an obstacle, when I was there at lvl 71 I didn't fail much. The best thing is that there is a pineapple plant and fishing spot right next to the course, so no need for banking to get food, just bring a knife and fishing equipement.

Using poison on trolls isn't that bad an idea. When I get a Troll task I bring both a whip and a dds, so when my spec bar allows it I dds spec the troll, then switch to my whip. Even if I spec double 0 the poison kicks in a little later, pretty much every troll you hit once with a dds gets poisoned. On topic: Your lucky with this assignment, Fire Giants are great slayer xp, 111 each I think. 111 * 175 = 19425 xp, you won't be 20 slayer for long :lol: You don't need any special equipement to kill them, although ranging them is adviced because they can hit 11 and do so quite often. In the waterfall dungeon are good safe spot for range, but it's often very crowded.

I hardly care about the money anymore, I've made enough during 99 fletching to last me an age of doing stuff I love. I'm currently slaying a lot, doing every clue I get. God pages can still fetch some nice cash, so do most slayer drops, if I feel like selling them (I alched some black/red and white/gold mystic items last week because nobody was buying them :oops: )

I disagree with the bold part because I allways watch how much arrows I shoot and pick up, over longer periods at a time. For example when I range Firegiants I bring 5k iron knives and pick them up for the entire duration of my slayer task, but keep them in my inventory. So at the end of my task I check how many knives I threw (5000-the number I have wielded) and how many are in my inventory. I've done this for both arrows and knives and find that both have an 80% return rate. So when you shoot 1000 of them you get 800 back. As a rough estimate for xp per arrow I did a similar thing when I was 56 range. I measured my xp gain while shooting 1000 iron arrows, picking them up, shooting, untill the whole 1k was gone. That got me 54k xp, which is 54 xp per arrow or an average damage of 12.5. That is quite a high number, but it makes sense since you use your arrows more then once. Theoretically your 3800 iron arrows should give you 205k range xp (3800*54=205200)

Nice load of goodies :D On my last task I thought I didn't get any good drops untill the 5 last kills: maul, mystic top and dragon spear :shock: Now my mystic set is complete and from drops only :)

I once suggested pink bunny slippers with a +2 agility bonus as new treasure trail reward :oops:

I miss not knowing what this game was all about, exploring and dying to a hobgobling because I thought it would be an easy kill since they are pushovers in Baldur's gate 1 :oops: I miss the fact that every person you would meet would have their name in red, thinking they were so powerfull. I miss the joy off getting my air talisman back after I had died with it (yes, dam that hobgoblin!) so I could finish the quest now. I miss carrying around everything I thought was important instead of banking it

Well the ring of stone has no known use, besides morphing you into rocks, which is a neat trick but is done much cheaper with a ring of Egg.

Lol yea, the same thing happened to me. I was getting a f2p friend full addy and all I needed was the kite. Since my smithing was 67ish at the time I went to the Varrock anvils with 3 addy ores, 18 coal and 3 natures and asked for someone to smith a kite for me. A lvl 110+ came up to and said he would, I even looked him up in the highscores to see his smithing level which was indeed high enough so I traded him. The instant the second trade screen disappears he teles saying something like 'gotcha!'. For a whole minute I was stunned, I just couldn't believe someone of that level would go through the trouble (he had to bank to make space for all of it) of stealing 3 addy bars :shock: After I realized what had just happened I couldn't help but laughing till I cried. I told the story to all my friends that were online, so we bombarded him with pm's for a while, making fun of him. I guess some people are just pixel huggers and don't respect verbal agreements or honour made promises.

Yikes! :shock: I'd be somewhat honoured, but mostly freaked out. This kind of impersonation could ruin your ingame reputation even though you had nothing to do with it. People could get scammed and you would be blamed :shock: Too bad you can't proof to that site you are the real trixstar and get him removed.

Also I forgot to mention my tiaras. I don't really collect them but I made a lot of them for 80 crafting and I just can't sell them... Tiara count: around 4k (40**)

Dam you beat me by about 300 :evil: I sold them to the general store anyways, didn't take a picture. My collections: jute seeds: 1901 tiaras: around 4k (if my friend didn't quit it would have been 34k, but he did quit, before selling me the 30k silver he promised :cry: He actually showed me the 30k silver, but I didn't have the money ready yet and now I'll never get it :cry: ) Ill get a picture up this afternoon, I can't right now since I'm at work :o

What's even more frustrating is trying to get your compass lines straight, your minimap straight AND your view straight all at the same time. I also heard somewhere that the camera angle is pushed left or right every so often to throw of autoers and/or autoclickers (for alching/teleing). That it happens is pretty easy to prove, just go do something like alching where your view doesn't move for a time and after a while you'll see that it moved to the right or left. I think that your minimap/compass is 'reset' when you go to a new area by either teleing, going up or down a ladder or entering a portal/altar. So I usually set my view straight before doing something like that so that my minimap and compass line up after the area has loaded.

Erm, dunno if you were just joking around or what... couldn't pick up on whether you were joking or what. Pink is a "lightish red". If you ever took art class in middle school (maybe even elementry schools do it now...) they usually do a class on shading. All pink really is, is red mixed with white. And in game, there is such a thing as pink skirts in game. Sorry if you knew this and were just kidding. Figured I'd at least point that out before it caused more confusion, or a debate. Guess what, they already have a color for lightish red, Pink. I figured the ' :wink: ' made it pretty clear that I was just joking, but I guess my humour is a bit too subtle. It's just a joke

Where can I find these strawberry trees of which you speak? I'm still growing the plants like a noob :lol: They got blown away, leaving only bushes behind :shock: No no, the strawberry plants we know today are but the tops of the trees blown under the sands.

I kinda collect jute seeds because they gave such enormous xp when farming was just out, now they are just in my bank. When thieving from master farmers I just can't drop them even though they're kinda worthless. Current amount of jute seeds: 1901
