Yes I second that, they're not worth the slayer xp and a Burthorpe task is usually done in 5 minutes so you can get a new assignment from your real slayer master.

Just get 10 of each in your bank and you won't have to worry about getting them back for a while. Just ask for the item, drop it, ask another, drop, etc. Oh and allways drop your spade first, it's the easiest to get back. Good story, you didn't back down from a fight even though you knew you'd lose it, at least you got the satisfaction of hunting him down :) Next time remember the highscores, before sticking your foot in your mouth again :wink:

That's not entirely true. If you would have two level 100cb 1500 total accounts, one started 4 years ago the other only a year and a half ago, I know which of those has a more obsessed owner :o This thread is very generalizing, do you ask all people that beg you for free stuff their age? You assume that their age is low, but you can't tell by looking at their account. The only thing you know for certain is that their maturity is low and we all have moments like that. Heck I sometimes gather a group of friends to go into the wilderniss wearing pink (or light-ish red) skirts and wielding rubber chickens. It's a whole lot of fun, but you can't claim I'm being very mature at that moment :P

Anyway what I was thinking about the minigame was that one person could buy the boat to the island. The person that pays for the boat decides which people are accepted on the boat. This way you can avoid the people attacking the southside shifters and losing the game. Also when you go with a clan or a group of friends you don't have to wait for the next game or hop worlds, just buy the boat and you're good to go. The price of the boat would have to be more then the cash reward you'd get in the game because otherwise people would be buying the boat from the rewards and this would solve nothing. Also I think that you shouldn't be able to buy the boat if there are already people on it or that it HAS to be bought. You can buy it if you like, but if no one buys it, it will still go to the minigame after the normal amount of time or if full.

You don't walk up to someone buying full mith and offer him mith pl8, legs, then add a rune large and addy kite just because it's better?

Seeing that people will pay $5 to auto flax and that the price of pure ess will probably stabilise around 150 gp, this will encourage some people to move to p2p. All they need is 30 mining and they're good to go :x On the other hand this is a great opportunity for the lower lvls on p2p, you can mine ess continually as opposed to coal which is in the same price range and it's way faster then lobbies, which only sell good in huge amounts or raw. I think Jagex made a right decision and executed it perfectly, no advance warning, not on an update day. Sure a lot of people will be angry, some honest f2p miners will be out of bussiness (although fire rune crafting with dueling rings will be more popular), but the autoing 'community' got a good kick in the ... :twisted:

Picking flax at Lleyta is the fastest in the game. If you push yourself you can pick 2k per hour there. Closest spinning wheel to a bank is either Seers or Lumbridge after you start Recipe for Disaster. The one in Lumbridge is 1 door and 2 ladders, Seers is only 1 door and 1 ladders but the walk is a bit longer. I haven't timed them personally but some of my friends say they're equally fast.

There are white knights gloves and I think they give +1 prayer bonus, like all white knights items (except mace :? ) EDIT: I found a pair of these gloves in my bank and they do give a +1 prayer bonus. So the best outfit for a p2p monk would be: _________________initiate helm __fire cape_______(un)holy symbol____arrows of choice _____________________| __d mace_________initiate plate_______prayer book (blessed sickle)_________(monk robe top)______(zamorak gives attack bonus) _________________initiate legs _______________(monk robe bottom) white knight gloves__white knight boots__ring of choice When I was getting tickets in the agility arena with +30 prayer bonus 63 prayer points last me about an hour while praying rapid heal. If you really want maximum healing power out of your prayer points and like to live a little dangerously, save your last prayer point and use the instant healing prayer (lvl 49- Redemption) when you're under 10% hp. Since your prayer point lasts you for about a minute you have plenty of time to fail an obstacle and get 1/3rd of your base prayer lvl added as hitpoints :D

I think that you should be able to pick your team, but for a price. One person would 'buy' the boat to the island and gets to decide which people he wants with him and which people should go take a hike. This way you can go with your own clan/group of friends and make sure everyone gets on the game. The cost of the boat should be what gp that player would be paid at the end of the game +10%. This way you can't just go there with 500 gp, buy a boat, win gp in the game and buy another boat from your winnings, you'd actually be losing money on this but you can play the game with the people you want to. I don't think that buying the boat should become mandatory because I mostly go there by myself, I think it should be an option. You would need a minimum list of 15 people to buy the boat and if there are allready more then 15 people on the boat you can't just kick them out, you'll have to wait for the next one or switch worlds.

I did a lot of switching while I was f2p, because I didn't see the point in getting any more attack lvls once I reached 40, or more range lvls after 40 :oops: I got me a miner/smither pure (what a waste of time that was :x ), woodcutting pure (same waste), some combat pures and even had a lvl 3 bank account :oops: Now that I'm p2p all my RS time goes to my p2p account, I don't think I've even logged in on any of my f2p accounts after I cleaned them out (and by cleaning out I mean giving all the stuff to a friend for his 'birthday' and he giving the exact same stuff to me the next day for my 'birthday' :wink: )

I havent been in a situation like this yet, but I do have a general rule towards RS friends: I only loan them stuff I can afford to lose. So giving a friend 6M will not happen anytime soon for me, but I've handed out full runes and d longs before and if you don't expect to get them back it actually feels better when you do get it back. And you need to choose the friends to loan stuff to, I once loaned a friend full rune with warrior helm and d scimmy, then he died at Taverly Blue dragons. Since he wasn't rich (he needed to sell his mystic if he needed full rune and vice versa) I didn't expect to get anything back from him, but he did pay me back for all that he lost and he is now one of my best friends on RS.

I wonder if they will make the not so well known free teleport to Port Sarim public knowledge :o For those of you that don't know: talk to Shantay and tell him you are an outlaw and are going to kill him, he will put you in jail offering to release you for 5 gp. Say you won't pay and he will threaten to send you to 'a high securtity prison', refuse to pay again and you will be sent to Port Sarim jail, but since the guard is sleeping you can simply walk out. So much for high security prison :lol:

My best drop would have to be a d skirt during a slayer task of 14 Bronze Dragons, it dropped on the 8th dragon I think. Slayer is a great source for good drops, so far I've gotten loads of black/red and white/gold mystic, almost a full set of both, tons of rune items as drops aswell as from clue scrolls, 3 or 4 good lvl 3 treasure trail items, 23 full crystal keys and 2 dragon drops.

You might want to change that to 'turn to pyred magic log'. Sorry for picking on a mistake but with such a big guide a mistake slips through pretty easily. Really really good looking guide, I've allways wanted to check on shade burning but never knew where to start. The fact that I had a really hard time finishing the quest because no one was rebuilding the temple didn't really encourage me to get back there. One thing I don't get though: during the quest I obtained two bronze keys, one is all bronze the other is 'red bronze key'. What does this mean? Are the chests color coded or does it have another function? You mentioned making a profit while doing this, is it enough to buy the mage logs and repair your Guthans and still break even, or do you lose money but gain more xp then d bones would get you for that loss? Nice looking guide, I'm surely bookmarking it, maybe it should go in the archive of wisdom?
