  1. Woohoo, I meet with all the requirements! I even did Rum Deal Quest! Too bad I'm at university for at least two more hours
  2. Dragon plate will be the last :P Imagine what you'd need to do to get the plate if the square shield involves a semi-high quest and a rare monster drop. I imagine the plate being divided in 4 or 5 parts one of which is accessed through a quest, one is a rare drop like d med or shield half, one comes through a treasure trail, and one is a drop from a high level monster like kq, kbd, king daganoths or maybe even dark beast. The last part should be obtained from a minigame like the lavacape
  3. Erm why have u used white righting to say ure using sarcasm lol Because even though my use of sarcasm is bleedingly obvious, some people are capable of missing it and will try to flame posts like this. If they do I can quietly point to the white text and go on with my everyday life.
  4. Well of course you are a noob, you didn't immediately hand over all your valuables in exchange for his generous offer. How would you feel if you randomly traded someone and he bluntly declined your offer? Did you ever think about that, huh? I mean the world is after all revolving around you and if people think otherwise they must have missed that memo so you have to set them straight by calling them noob. In case you didn't notice the obvious: I am using sarcasm.
  5. trimmed boots trimmed meds trimmed granite god trimmed mithril full silver rune (as opposed to guilded) trimmed weapons  ah one can still dream...
  6. It's more like 2k per hour if you put your private chat off :D
  7. Yes, this has happened to me as well and I must say I thought it only occured since Monday the 23rd. I've been hallying Hellhounds and keep running up to them, I've done two Turoth assignment ~290 kills and I keep running up to them even if I'm just two squares away, sometimes 3 or 4 times in a row. I sure hope this is a bug and not some hidden update
  8. If you go there at level 40 don't ever try to pass the darts, because if you fail once you're pretty much done for. And yes, getting from lvl 40 something to level 66 in the blink of an eye is incredibly satisfying 8)
  9. w00t, I saved all my potatoes from my low level farming, I have about 1k in bank
  10. Says he with a picture of a camel mask in his signature
  11. most of the runescapers that play now are immature, perverted, flaming children who cuss all the time. maybe check the status of some old friends and see how theyre doing, if they still play then id give runescape another go. Blame Jagex advertising on Miniclip.com for that. They should advertise to a more mature audience if you ask me. For the sake of the community they should, but sadly jagex isn't thinking about the community anymore. I'm not saying they're only keeping RS online for moneymaking purposes, but it surely looks like it. Why do they update weekly? For advertisements sake: On topic: I can't say that the community has changed since you left because I've only been playing for a year and 3 months, but I must say that there quite a few people out there that you can have great conversations with and great fun. I met quite a few in my "clan" (see signature and yes, you will get a cookie  ) and what surprised me is that most of them aren't over 20 years old. People allways say that the bad apples of the community are all 13 year olds thinking they can do anything they want since they're anonymous on the internet. Sure there's a lot of them out there but with a mix of maturity and bullheadedness they crumble. And if you've tried your best or just don't feel like going head to head with a 'noob' there's allways the ignore button. On these boards I hear a lot of people saying that they can't play the game anymore with public or private chat on. Both of them are usually on for me and I have had quite some interesting conversations with people that randomly added me. Sure people try to scam through pm but a bit of common sense will prevent any losses. I guess what I'm saying is that there's more parts in the community now: the people behaving immature and trying to bother other people with that behavior and the people that respect other players and play the game to relax and enjoy themselves. P.S. A small thing to add: not all that comes from miniclip is bad. I for one found RS on miniclip and I consider myself a mature player (even though you shouldn't say that about yourself).
  12. I wonder if people will go there and get a 9999 kc for themselves if the reward you get is good. I mean everyone will if you'd get lets say all sets, but hardly anyone will if you'd get 1k of all runes. How many hours did it take you to get the 9999 kc, or how many kills can you do per hour?
  13. Oh that is great fun, be sure to bring a rubber chicken for complete ownage  Last time I did this was on a Fridaynight on a f2p server so runerocks and greaters were filled with pkers. Me and a friend went into wildy 5 or 6 times with an inventory filled with ashes and stuff. We even accidentally killed a pker  His mates killed us about an instant later so we followed him around Lumby for a while  Abyss pkers are also great to mess with, just make sure you have a bunch of charged glorys in your bank, get your rubber chicken and charge them. About 4-5 seconds later you'll be in Falador, so get your glory, tele to edge and go again  When you do this often enough they switch worlds
  14. This sounds really good, count me in  I think nighshades are the key to getting and keeping your hp low, and fight pit is the best location. When anyone decides to spoil our plan we can gang up on him and beat him to a pulp
  15. Star Wars rip-off, I picture it in my mind: bob in a black mask, the voice, together we shall rule the entire world of Runescape! Ah good stuff, thanks for posting that conversation.
  16. You said this in your first post: ...and then you move on to this: Only tattooing "flame me pl0x" on your forehead might be more effective
  17. I never use the abyss, but I crafted loads of natures by going from the altar to the general store. Here are some numbers for you: my agility is 66 (I use 44% energy from the altar to the store @0kg weight) and my rc is 50+ (3 pouches). I make 40 natures per trip and I average 850 natures per hour when not talking to friends or people along the way. This gives an average trip time of under 3 minutes, pretty close to abyss trip times. My pouch degenerates after 1040-1120 natures, which means you can craft natures for about an hour and 15 minutes before having to go back to the abyss to repair. If you still don't want to go through the abyss I found out pouches can degenerate multiple times. The pouch that can carry the most ess degenerates first: large pouch 9 --> 7 ess large pouch 7 --> 5 ess medium pouch 6 --> 4 ess No more info because I decided it really was time to go through the abyss  Hope this helps.
  18. Do you think they may ban tons of Runescape 2 autoers? Comments please? I feel they shouldnt ban 5k they should ban 15k autoers... They trust their software way too much, there's autoers at seers flax field, magic trees, fishing guild and many more places on almost every server. I thought they were working on this problem but this kinda killed my hope. Luckily I can do my own bit against autoers: teleother. Sure it's not that cheap but after tele-othering some 5 autoers to lumby I teled there myself to watch them getting stuck in a corner. That surely made my day
  19. Oh, are you a maddox fan aswell?
  20. both wrong, you can't have a 2-handed weapon AND a shield equiped. I am curious though whether the totem pole from legends is heavier then a barrel of tar :?:
  21. try wearing the gold helmet from the quest, its weight is 31 kg as opposed to the 2 kg of a warriors helmet or rune helmet
  22. true, but you need to catch and cook salmons, they don't drop from EVERY monster you kill while bones do. EDIT: hmm demons and the like exepted since they drop ashes. I wonder how many peaches you'd get when you cast it on dragon bones
  23. This has to be Tears of Guthix, I mean it just keeps on giving and giving week after week and the best thing is when you got more quest point you get more in the cave, so more tears, which means more xp.
  24. I think you are right and that jagex is going a bit overboard with the weekly updates. Updating weekly creates expectations that can't be lived up to since it takes more then a week to make an update. Now all that I see is people crying "booh another crappy update, go jagex!". I think they should keep updating and the fact that we can't think of anything left to update doesn't mean the jagex team can't come up with anything original, but they should do the updates on random times, not every Monday, around 1pm London time. EDIT: ~fish~ (lol)
  25. I heard you can turn people in to cabbages if you type "cabborama pl0xorama" when you fight them. And remember, never say a spell like that in front of a mirror  :D
