06-Mar-2006 Behind the Scenes - March
jessy, bloodveld, as much as I love to see a couple of two years olds throwing dirt at each other and both wanting to have the final word, your posts now are on every page of this topic while it should be about the preview of march's updates. Throw your dirt at each other through the private message centre, it's not like you guys are winning any popularity contests by doing it in public.

Raise the GP Cap on P2P to 100 Bil
In theory this is a good idea, but there are some flaws to it. If the alchemy spells would still exist, I'd say 50% of the people would still want to alch their product. Some of them would do it for the cash, some for the easy mage xp. Sure there's a 50% reduction of created coins but a new problem is formed by creating xp. The problem with fletching would be that more people would reach 70 or 85 fletching, which in turn causes more money to flow into the economy. Another problem with created xp is that you sell your finished product like a steel plate, which should not get you anymore xp, to an xp dealer. This would make leveling skills way easier. To counter this the entire xp per bar would have to be recalculated.

discussion regarding jagex's latest poll
@1: I do think jagex is able to look up your qp because all your accounts data is after all stored on their servers. I just wish they would add it to the highscores one day... @2: On first glance I also though it was weird that it looked like a normal distribution, but when you think about it it's actually quite logical. There are a lot of different types of players out there. There's people that want to do all the quests, but not all of them have 198 qp because there are lvl requirements. This in itself would give a normal distribution. Then there's the people that do not like quests but again not all of them will have 0 qp. Most of them do the quests with usefull rewards (ectovial, d long, etc) and some of them might even get to 170+ qp. So this will again get you a normal distribution. Adding both up still gets you a normal distribution, probably with a little lean towards the high end since you could do all members quests including requirements in 3 months. And since only members can vote in the polls (long live democracy  ) there is no peak at 32 qp.

06-Mar-2006 Behind the Scenes - March
Ooh, a new slayer monster, kinda hoping for a required slayer lvl of between 65 and 70 *crosses fingers* When this comes out I'll log into world 2 and try to fight one in the middle of Falador park and see all the merchanters run in fear  I surely hope the farming drop the are hinting at is not some semi rare drop that increases your harvest by a couple dozen percent. I kinda like farming and I think that buying the seeds is expensive enough, I don't want to spend more on some rare farmers tool :x Hmm, canoes sound nice and all but who would ever travel from edgeville to lumbridge with a canoe if you can tele there? It sounds like another bankspace waster to me, unless they would be available to f2p aswell. Now this sounds very interesting to me. I think it will be a quest of which you can start the first chapter at a low level and get a small reward and when you meet the next lvl requirements you can start the 2nd chapter for a bigger reward. I'm kinda hoping for a last chapter with some lvl 80 requirements even though I don't have that many lvl 80+ They just can't resist hinting at carpentry can they, keep the members hooked with the promise of a skill that has been promised for about five years now :?

Raise the GP Cap on P2P to 100 Bil
So when you go over the cap your money goes into negative  I wonder what happens when you try to withdraw 10 gp when your money is in negative. Maybe you'd have to pay interest over your debt  P.S. Would it be possible with other items aswell? *runs off to collect 2100M tinderboxes*

27 February 2006 - A Fairy Tale Part I - Growing Pains
please post all your different ingredient on this topic:http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=412789 My dear "wanna be a mod" henk333, if you look at the times of the posts, you'll see that I posted my message quoted above 2 minutes before you made the other post. So it was quite difficult for me to post in the "right" topic, wasn't it? Oh, I'm really sorry but it was not my intention to correct you, I just made my topic a minute earlier. By posting here I was trying to prevent people from further posting their ingredient on this topic but post them on the other topic instead. I'm sorry if I offended you, but 'wannabe mod'? No thank you, I am administrator to another forum, so I have no intentions to join this one.

Reward for new Quest (A Fairy Tale pt.1)
You need to talk to at least 5 farmers. I found that the varrock tree farmer is not in the G.A.G. Most of the bush, allotment, hops and fruit tree farmers are.

magic secateurs, what did YOU need to make them
This sucks, I can't get my sickle back because I got rid of it in one of many, many bank purges. the craft shop in al kharid sells sickle mould, use silver bar with furnace while having that mould in your inventory. To get it blessed again go the the nature spirit and use your sickle with the water basin thingy, inside the grotto.

Come on RS is a fantasy world, who says the sun can't rise in the west in a fantasy world. But I must say hats off to the artist, I'm short for words to describe how beautifull this is. *takes off his hat* - 27 February 2006 - A Fairy Tale Part I - Growing Pains
