Is slayer an option too? Because before I really started slayer I was 89 combat, now I'm 105 combat with 76 slayer. If it doesn't count add me to the melee group, which I think contains all people above level 80. Because unless you're pure or a lvl 3 skiller you're combat will be melee based since melee has 3 skills, while mage and range only have 1. Not trying to ruin your poll here, I'm just trying to point out that a melee based combat level is very hard to avoid.

I know I don't, having 81 agility means I've done enough exercise for a long long time and it also means I hardly ever have to walk anywhere (except when Karil drains my agility to 21 :-X ). If you really want to travel back to your newby days, do like I do: gather some people, get yourself a white apron, wooden shield, easter ring and a lightish red skirt (pink for normal people :wink: ), meet up in edgeville or varrock north gate and go in a train to the rune rocks or greaters. Then just wear your ring and sit there waiting for pking clans. Don't forget your rubber chicken :lol:

Man I've been so unlucky with those dam champion scrolls. I've killed thousands of Jogres and Hill Giants, hundreds of hobgoblins and goblins, whenever I see an imp I kill it and still no champion scroll :evil: :evil: :cry: But you did solve a question that was in my head: I wondered if you could have both a clue scroll and a champion scroll at the same time. You've shown that it is possible, so thanks. Oh, on more thing: before you got the champion scroll, had you been in the champion guild basement yet? Just wondering if it is necesarry or not.

I think you're wrong about #4 and #5. I got white mystic boots from cockatrice (3 pairs) but never from basilisk. I'm not sure which monsters drop the gloves since I never got them. Oh, and a side note: I don't think making money from white mystic is a good idea. First off the white mystic drops are very rare, secondly it's very hard to find white mystic buyers. Anytime I go to world 2 falador I try for 30 minutes to sell my white mystic, but all I see are sellers, not buyers.

I think I have some 6.7k of them, never crossed my mind to drop them. I also keep the probiscis from Tai bwo wannai minigame in my bank and the bird eggs. They will have an alternative use some day, I'm sure of that. For ecto tokens it could be weapons and armor from the eastern lands, with that eastern guy on the docks and all. I wonder if Oddfaery kept his, he must be the one with the largest amount of them around if he did.

Nah, what happened is that all the ess that people had in their banks when it was changed ran out. So the supply of pure ess was getting lower and lower by the day since hardly anyone mines ess on members (or used to anyways). Since people continue to craft natures, laws and deaths the demand for pure ess eventually got way bigger then the supply so the prices went through the roof. Simple supply and demand, that's all that happened.

Lleyta hands down, if you turn off both private and public chat you can pick 2k per hour there. The required quests are a downside though. If you don't want to pick the flax you could try and get it from Miscellenia after the Royal Trouble quest. If you put 100% to flax with 100% approval and spend 75k each day you get flax at around 40gp each. Downside to this is that you need to spend some money for the flax so you might need to make more bows to get your whip. Oh and spinning the flax into bowstrings is still done fastest in Seers in case you were wondering.

Let people play the game the way they want to. You want to skill? By all means go ahead, I know what it's like and love it very much. Other people like to merchant on a lvl 3 account, that takes skill too, you know. To all you people saying that merchanter ruin the economy... sure without skillers there would be no merchanters, but without merchanters skilling would be a lot less fun then it is now. What would you do with a d med drop if nobody would buy it? Put it in your bank and have it collect dust? No, you want to sell it and buy raw materials to go back to skilling. So merchanters and skillers depend on each other, much more then some people would like to admit. Play the game the way you want to, don't let some immature kid calling you names ruin your fun.

But at 55 construction you can build both an altar in your house and a canifis portal, all you need after that is to find someone with a mahogany eagle altar to make house tablets. With those barrows is incredibly easy (or at least the travel and restore prayer part of barrows :wink: ).

You need 3 dragon hides to make 1 dhide body, so you need to divide the high by 3 to get the max cost per hide. I think tanning is 20 gp per hide and you get the cost of a nature rune on top of that, so unless you kill your own dragons you will not make a lot of money.

Sadly you can't cut them :(

How is barrows not a minigame? Besides, you can't compare looking randomly around the world for a rusty sword that turns out to have been a mith long to fighting 6 90+ brothers that are very capable of owning you hard and can give you treasure worth millions.

You could try switching between Lost city and edge if your combat is under 100. But the best way to kill Turoth and Kurask is range and it's not such a waste of money as you would think. First off it's decent range xp, secondly Turoth drop a lot of seeds, herbs and sometimes clues and mystic bottoms. Kurask drop rune longs addy plates and clues. Don't buy your broad arrows all at once, just take 6k gp with you everytime you go for an assignment and buy as much as you can (~90). This will stack up untill you get an assignment in which you use them. About getting assignments you don't like: you're just going to have to live with it, everyone gets Iron Dragons assigned, hardly anyone does them. Just Burthorpe it quickly and hope for a good one.

I have estimated my bank value at 50M, but it goes up and down by the hour because of my santa, estimated poh value of 3M, current amount of cash is 15M, will be more after I sell some barrows drops and alch some magic longs. Oh if you're interested, my cb is 104. Goal: firecape, for which I'm currently growing snapdragons and will do my first try next week.
