  1. Just go up the ladder in the pub or the hairdressers shop (I forgot which one has a ladder) and look in the direction of the bank. Mystery solved
  2. Did you do a treasure trail with a zammy wizard?
  3. Both the fishbowl helmet and diving apparatus give +0 to all stats
  4. Madness... Pure madness  That's one thing in rs I know I'll never do :ohnoes:
  5. Wow, I just read your guide when a friend pmed me to go to barrows. I tried method 1 and it owns. Never though meleeing Karil would be so easy, when my specs are good he drops on the third  Big  and =D> for this guide, great job!
  6. Already answered: To mount a glory in your house you need a quest hall and 47 construction. You can mount the glory in the guild trophy spot and if you want it back you can simply remove it from the wall. All you lose are the teak planks necessary to mount it, the glory is returned. When mounted a glory has infinite charges. I'll add a picture:
  7. I've already read that article and it's of no help at all, it only gives a definition of the spell, no description of how to use it. I've send my question to Customer support, now let's hope I get an answer by someone that actually played this game before
  8. Shade burning :D Teletablets. Before you can make the teletablets that actually sell, you already spent millions. The little money the tablets make will not make up for that.
  9. Exactly, took the words right out of my mouth. Another weird thing is that if you max out 1 melee stat you get 4.3M hp xp, which is exactly one third of lvl 99. So maxing out all 3 melee stats gets you 99 hp, even with a range and mage level of 1. But this 99 def - 85 slayer thing is going to be a tough one. You can melee a lot of slayer assignments, but not all. Also you will want to use a cannon from time to time, or guthans (controlled style). I think you would reach 85 slayer before reaching 99 defence.
  10. If you use only a shield they can hit you up to 5 damage, if you use both a shield and potion you will take no damage at all. When the effect of the potion wears off you hear a distinct sound and you will take up to 5 damage from the next flame. If you drink your potion again you'll be fine.
  11. 20k rune ess is going to get you 80k airs (actually more). Lets say your brother bought all the essence at 30 each (most expensive price), it would cost him 600k. Now lets say he sells all the airs at 15 ea (pretty cheap), it would make him 1.2M. So you would be donating him at least 600k if you do this. If he buys the ess cheaper and sells higher even more, if he actually mines the essence you would be giving him millions for just some xp. I'd offer him 1 ess to 1 air, 1 ess to 2 airs if he runs them for/with you.
  12. Not true. If you fight the dragons with just an antifire shield the maximum they will hit you for is 5 damage. But since they can breath at you a lot this quickly adds up to lots of hp lost and you possibly dying. What I did when I had a Bronze dragon task was get monks robes and bring 6 prayer pots (4), 1 super att (4) and as much sharks as I could. I usually ran out of sharks before I ran out of prayer potions, but by that time my task was already finished. The maximum amount of Bronze dragons I killed with that set-up was 33.
  13. i dare you to make money with agility, i just dare you Siggiefied! Ahem, agility pyramid. Everytime you reach the top you get a gold item which you can sell for 1k each back on the ground. If you would have said I dare you to make money with construction, you would have been right, but with agility it can be done.
  14. The head you are thinking of is a camelhead which you can get during the quest Enakhra's Lament. The flippers are indeed from Mogres.
  15. This spell supposedly gives you the power to combine runes into combination runes without needing a talisman. But when I cast the spell I could not figure out any way to combine the runes. I tried it in a bank first with water and earth runes to make mud runes. Use water with earth rune... 'nothing interesting happens' Then I tried it with pure essence in my inventory. Use essence with water rune... 'nothing interesting happens'. Use essence with earth rune... 'nothing interesting happens' Ok I'll try it at the earth altar then. Use water rune with altar...'nothing interesting happens'. Use essence with altar... plain earth runes!?!? What is up with this spell? I simply can't get it to work. Did anyone try it and found how it works. Please explain to me how this spell works. P.S. I cast magic imbue before every attempt and used the items with each other before getting the message "your power to combine runes has disappeared"
  16. Get 94 mage and start owning every game of cw you get into. Buy a rare for some long term profit. Buy guthans and a cannon to train slayer. Buy bars and get smithing up. Buy a ton of pray pots and go barrowing. Get together a dag king group and spend the money on supplies. I like the cw idea best, but that's just me =P~
  17. The best way to mage them is chaos gauntlets with fire bolt. Bring your antifire shield and pots, cast a spell on one and stand 1 or 2 squares away from it. They don't come after you, they think their firebreath will get you. The antifire potion lasts about 5 minutes, which is 2-3 dragons depending on your mage level and luck. If you have a black mask, super att pot and 80+ attack you could consider meleeing them. I used to melee my bronze tasks too, without a mask, most of the time without an antifire potion. You can easily do 20 Bronze dragons per trip. The best way to range them is... not. You can try every one handed range weapon and even bring a cannon, they simply wont die to range.
  18. Man seeing these vids makes me want to gear up and freeze people 8-) 85 slayer has to happen before I get back to cw, whip drops will fund my ice bursts and eventually barrages :D
  19. or as you have 66 construction, you could make a eagle mahogany lecturn with a cup of coffee then making house tablets, it would save inventory spaces Using the house teleport to get back from the bank is very expensive. You would use 1 law per 24 planks, so if you want to do some major leveling (I did 6.7k planks in a couple of days) you would need hundreds of laws costing you a lot of extra money. Lyres on the other hand are cheap/free teleports since you can fish enough bass in an hour or so. Making teletablets is even more expensive since you need both the runes and the clay. The method of getting the planks you want doesn't really matter for using this method and you will need to have the logs turned into planks for this to work. Getting the planks needed to level is the easiest part, since there is a big market for them, you can pick them from spawn points or make them yourself. The actual turning planks into xp used to take either money or a lot of time, but with this method I hope people will find that you can do it for a lot less money in a lot less time.
  20. If you place your charged lyres in the bankspot right next to your planks it's no problem at all changing lyres every 2 trips. Ending up in Karamja without another way to teleport costs more time, so I prefer to bring a glory. Thanks everyone for the good comments \
  21. Don't think so, if people want to use the duel ring methos they will have to find their own source. To mount a glory in your house you need a quest hall and 47 construction. You can mount the glory in the guild trophy spot and if you want it back you can simply remove it from the wall. All you lose are the teak planks necessary to mount it, the glory is returned. When mounted a glory has infinite charges. Thanks :D
  22. Oh yeah, completely.. because its sister-skill fletching isn't one of the most profitable in the game.. I dont think fletching is profitable. I got 84 fletching and i dont think i made really any money from it :-k I make alot more money from Combat then Fletching. Fletching is very profitable if you do it right. When you buy all supplies it will cost you money, but if you make your own bowstrings and nats 99 fletching will make you 45-ish million gp.
  23. Introduction: Most people know that the cheapest way to level construction is using oak planks. But even if you make the planks yourself you find yourself with a difficult choice: will I pay a butler to bring me the planks or will I relocate my house to Yanille and walk from the portal to the bank and back. The first way is really expensive since you will need to pay your butler 7-10k every 100-150 planks (more if you send him to the sawmill aswell). The second way is a lot cheaper, but so much slower that it is not really an option. Now I present a third way that is cheap AND fast. What do you need: [*:2ttqk28g]# of planks of your choice [*:2ttqk28g]around 30 lyres (15 is the minimum amount I'd advise) [*:2ttqk28g]1 raw bass per 48 planks and a ring of charos (a) OR 1 raw shark per 48 planks [*:2ttqk28g]your house relocated to Relleka [*:2ttqk28g]a quest hall next to your kitchen or workshop (optional, if this is not the case you will need a lot of glories) Advised inventory and perfect house set-up: 24 oak planks to make 3 oak larders lyre to get to your house hammer and saw, needed to build glory incase you click karamja instead of edgeville (trust me, you will  ) You can see everything is close together. My exit portal is in the top left corner, short walk to the larder in the centre of the picture, easy glory access to the right. If you don't want to build larders your next best option would be to make flatpacked carved oak tables. In that case you're better off building a workshop where I built my kitchen. Since carved oak tables take 6 planks you can build 4 flatpacked tables from the advised inventory. How does it work: Here is the simple, step by step process that will get you 60k construction xp per hour without paying your butler. I have been using it from 66 to 71 construction and plan to use it for the 3k oak planks still in my bank. [*:2ttqk28g]get your inventory as advised and use the lyre to teleport to Relleka [*:2ttqk28g]walk south from the Relleka gates and enter your house in building mode [*:2ttqk28g]get to your kitchen and build and remove 3 oak larders [*:2ttqk28g]rub your mounted glory and tele to edgeville [*:2ttqk28g]get another load of planks from your bank [*:2ttqk28g]repeat If you don't have a mounted glory you will be forced to use either duel rings or normal glories. With duel rings it will cost you 1 ring per 192 planks, which is not much, but will add up when doing the bigger goals (lvl 73+). Glories will slow you down a bit because you need to recharge them every so often. How much it slows you down depends on how many glories you have. Obtaining and charging lyres You get your first lyre while doing the quest "The Fremennik trials". But one lyre is just not enough for this method. Getting more lyres is done in the same way as during the quest. First go to the swaying tree (red circle)and cut as many branches as lyres you want to make. Use a knife on them to make unstrung lyres. Next go to the troll Lalli (blue circle) to get golden fleece which he will sell you 1k each after the quest. Spin the fleece on a spinning wheel and use is with the unstrung lyres. Now it's time to go charge the lyres with teleports. This is done at the yellow circle. If you have an activated ring of charos, raw bass will be accepted as being a "very small shark". Without that ring you will have to use actual raw sharks to charge your lyres. Your lyres can also be charged with raw seaturtles and raw manta ray. Final words and Credits Well there you have it. My way to get a lot of construction xp per hour without making your butler so incredibly rich he can hire you :P Enjoy! If you have any advise on how to improve this method, found any embarrassing spelling/grammatical errors, please feel free to post. 24. It's just an "Oops, I coded this on Monday morning while still hungover from the weekend" thing. With so many lines of coding, who can blame them for letting one slip every so often.
