  1. Rub it in why don't you 200+ chests done, only 1 real barrows item: dh helm. Why do they still bother handing out ahrims staffs, not a soul buys them and they only alch for 51k.
  2. Cooking is pretty fast, sharks at the rogues den is 300k an hour. Fletching is slow in the cutting part, fast at the stringing part, super fast in the addy darts making part (very expensive though). Cooking breaks even if lucky, especially with so many people going for that cooking cape. Fletching makes a profit, but only after alching which is very time consuming. 85-99 is 54k magic longs, so if you have 54M to spare fletching is probably the fastest 99 you can get.
  3. I never Burthorpe Irons since they lowered the quantity and made the slayer mask. They're so easy to melee now, I can do a 56 task in 1 trip easily. I sometimes Burthorpe steels, sometimes I mage them, I tried to melee them once, that didn't really work out.
  4. Just watching that vid irritates me :? I'd rather pray the entire time and end up with as much ranars as I used p pots then constantly clicking the prayer icon. Might be just me though...
  5. You really shouldn't. The best (and only) amulet you should use on aberrant specters is a salve amulet.
  6. Using prayer potions usually pays itself back because of the enormous amount of herbs they drop. I use 6-8 doses of prayer potion (not tested proselyte yet) for a ull load of herbs, which almost allways includes 4 ranars.
  7. Slayer is my favorite skill, lots of different tasks, amazing moneymaker. Second is farming because it just too easy to level. I get tree seeds from Miscellenia and herb seeds from slayer monsters. Every day I log on I harvest and replant all trees and herbs, then move on to slayer and do a round of herbs after every task. Now I'm 84 farming without really trying :P
  8. Hunting wont be anything like slayer, Jagex knows better then having 2 skills that are exactly alike. I believe (and hope) it will be based on the farming principle. You set a trap, which can't be seen by others, and wait for it to catch an animal. Especially the part where others can't see or affect your traps sounds great to me. I'm not sure whether your trap is supposed to kill the animal, but acquiring an animals fur without killing it sounds a lot more cruel then killing it. Traps are already in the game. Prime examples are those in the elf lands; pit, stick and wire traps. Pit would be used to capture larger animals, stick could be used to mortally wound an animal and allowing you to track it down, the wire traps feature poison arrows, wounding and killing an animal later. Traps are also found in our POH dungeons, but the only usuable in hunter would be the bear trap. The teleport trap would be awesome though I doubt they would implement it in hunting. Another thing possibly used in higher level hunting is camouflage. Maybe the rewards from lower level hunting include branches and furs you can craft together into a camouflage outfit. Wearing this you can hide in a hunting ground and catch your prey by surprise. The only thing that seriously worries me is that they are giving is 3 lines of bank space, but mention hundreds of new item  I'm cleaning my bank as we speak...
  9. Thanks :wall: Man I'm never one to complain about new quests, but making us wait a couple of hours for a willow tree to grow is completely unnecessary.
  10. 14 red, 14 blue, 11 green. Most come from miscellenia, I've been putting money in there for 6 months now, great farming xp. My god cape is zamorak, doubt it has anything to do with it.
  11. I'm still hoping it is a special willow that grows faster then normal *crosses fingers*
  12. I think castle wars is good the way it is. Usually the people that dislike the game came unprepared. If all you bring is full rune you can't expect to have any control over the outcome of the game. I allways bring all 3 forms of combat with me, so I can switch according to the situation. I don't fear ancient mages, they fear my 15+ hits with my c bow and the splashes on my karils/d hide. I don't fear flagholding teams since I'll keep coming back again and again, wearing down their bandages and prayer points. I don't fear losing a game, because I'm having good fun doing so and I'll have better luck next time.
  13. Good point, that would explain the "imp in a box" part
  14. *sets wolf iron in middle of falador square* CLOING!!! Oooh a party hat merchant
  15. A very big pebble? No they evolved because of that big pebble whiping out the dinosaurs a couple of million years earlier. Btw leinfo, nice info, but it comes straight from Wikipedia.
  16. Tip.it bestiary doesn't say they drop them and in a way it makes sense. It's a different type of skeleton, i.e. it drops big bones. Then again, champion scrolls seem to be extremely rare (2k of all champion types killed, still nothing :x ), so it just might be that nobody got one yet.
  17. You can keep icing the guy, even though he's frozen. For example, if I barrage in cw, people remain frozen for 20 seconds. But I'm not casting ice barrage once every 20 seconds, more like once every 4-5 seconds.
  18. Ice bursting the leeches seems to be a popular method. Personally I just take 4 items (d scimmy, berserk, rune plate and legs) and some sharks and melee the leeches. There's a spot to the west where no walkers or guardians can touch you and most leeches die on the first hit because of their low defence and 10 hp.
  19. Selling and buying items is all about location. In certain banks certain items or traded. For example, Varrock east bank is used for essence trades, because all the essence miners bank there. Cooked lobsters are usually sold in edgeville bank, because pkers are there to restock their supplies. The place to sell your ores would be Falador east bank, because it's very close to the mining guild. As for prices, iron goes for 80-110 ea, coal for 150-200ea.
  20. Yeah, there needs to be a 5 slot bank chest in there or something. I seriously doubt they will ever bring a bank chest in pohs. They didn't make your butler extremely expensive to just have you withdraw your planks from inside your house.
  21. If you want better monsters and drops just subscribe to p2p. Easy as pi.
  22. Even though your Caps Lock button seems to be broken, I couldn't agree with you more. Can any of you guys explain to me how you could ever make a halloween based event without it ever sort of looking like something that was done before in some movie/tv show/book. Do you go around your nearest mall with halloween shooting "omg that's so unoriginal, you so ripped that from Harry Potter!" By the way, how can you think the skull mask from Harry Potter is original in any way? People have been wearing skull masks since the freaking stone age and you claim the author of Harry Potter is the first to think of it =; Stop your whining. Jagex made a really good Halloween event and if all you can do is complain, go play another game.
  23. The outfit looks actually pretty good against a black background. Here's a picture in the cosmic altar:
  24. Weren't those things the top predator for quite a while in South America? Theory has it that they even hunted as a team, like modern-day lions and wolves. Can't remember what caused them to go extinct though...
  25. You used to be able to telegrab stuff from the mainland at two locations. I have no idea if they're still there though.
