  1. Og requires a gold bar, which I have already returned to him. I cannot speak to him again. He is located just north of that island.
  2. I started the watchtower quest like... over 2 years ago. I decided to finish it today - I was able to recover everything I lost from last attempt except for the 1st crystal gotten from 'Og'. I can't talk to Og, apparently he's busy. I have the last 3 crystals but can't finish the quest. Any help on retrieving this crystal?
  3. That can't be the sole reason - it was probably just the final straw.
  4. 1st picture: Ben Affleck (60%), Brad Pitt, and Chad Michael Murray 2nd picture: Keira Knightly (72% - that's awesome, even though I'm male :P), Tiger Woods, and Dirk Nowitzki Random :P EDIT: I tried a picture of Brad Pitt that was identical to the one shown on the face recognition site and it only registered 73%.

I disagree with your syllogism; The fact that you call the life support patients recovery miraculous is enough for me to say that the chance a foetus becomes self-aware is tons greater than a patient "miraculously" coming back into awareness. Furthermore, a patient on life support that gets removed is thus transferring resources over to more promising patients; when a foetus gets aborted, I don't see any freed up resources moving onto another more "promising" foetus.

The problem is, people don't take their views on abortion from their views on whether its a baby or not - they decide their view on abortion, and then use that to decide whether or not it's a baby - it works the other way around alot of the time. I've never heard of/spoken to a woman that has regretted giving a baby up for adoption. Are you calling the women that give their babies up for adoption instead of blasting their existence into oblivion people with serious mental issues? I think there's something seriously wrong with that.

I'm just curious, if you considered giving the child up for adoption? That way you wouldn't have to fork out money, and you wouldn't have to look after it yourself, but it would be alive. I'm not criticizing your decision, I'm just curious if you thought of adoption since you didn't mention it.
  8. You mean like, those moments where you can "feel the magic"? Like a gorgeous sunset or something? Zammo! Definately this, amongst others. Oh oh, I'm catching on. A first kiss - the electricity in the air feeling!
  9. I am definitely watching Saved by the Bell as I am reading your post... (Kelly fell in love with Screech! :o)
  10. Yes, finally someone that accurately describes Christianity! Instead of arrogantly thinking we have the ability to live a good life on our own, we humbly accept the fact that we suck and need someone higher to lead us. If Christianity is for the weak, then non-Christianity is for the arrogant, I guess, using your terminology. You mean like, those moments where you can "feel the magic"? Like a gorgeous sunset or something?
  11. Astra, that was one of the most inspiring posts I think I've ever read :D! Just today, I was out for a run. I went to the end of the pier (that runs into Lake Ontario), and by the time I got to the end, there was a sunset, with every colour in the spectrum over the lake. There were small ripples all across the lake from the wake from the motorboats. The water was reflecting the colour of the sunset, and the lake ran into a beach, which ran into a treeline. In the opposite direction, over the harbour - was a perfectly clear night sky, with stars, and, a full moon - peeking through the treeline and shining on the sailboats in the harbour. On one side - sunset, on the other side - starry sky and full moon. Sailboats, beach, pier, and trees all around :) It's a sweet coincidence I came home to this thread after!
  12. I'm with you Bubsa, but in a "religious" way (who'd of thought :P).
  13. Nah my parents thought it was hilarious! They kinda helped us do it. :P I meant Ghost's parents: They are one and the same ;)
  14. Ha-ha-ha-happy birthday!
  15. Yea, but uhh...You pay 70% of that to the Government, right? :P Not me! Students get all taxes returned. And it's not 70 :P it depends on your pay bracket, I think the highest it gets is 50%, and that's for those $300k/yr people.
  16. That's too bad =\ Move to Ontario! :P By this coming February, minimum wage will be $8.00/hr ($7.75 now)
  17. I know, I was speaking generally :P
  18. That works the other way around though; you'd have to be omniscient or have been there to claim that there is a hell - other than that it's just hearsay. I could also say that the burden of proof was upon you as you're claiming something which is not true prima facie. Not omniscient - just have enough knowledge to know it's there. To prove aliens exist, you just have to find one alien. To prove aliens do not exist, then you have to go through every molecule of the universe and show that there is no alien there. Proving a negative is much harder than proving a positive.

Unfortunately (for Rob Schneider), to do his (Rob Schneider's) absolutely abysmal acting skills, this is also good for Mel Gibson, as he will never have to deal with this sub-par actor bringing down a future movie that Mr. Gibson will be producing :P
  20. I was 8 =\ we were playing hide and seek at school and I was hiding in a corner and this girl wouldn't let me out until I kissed her. As for a real kiss, I was 15.
  21. Sorry, you're using an unallowed URL, as well as ignoring the advertising sticky :P Locked.
  22. They eventually come around (mostly) :) as hard as it is to believe right now, almost everybody grows up one day.
  23. I'd eat one :) no more than that though...
