Best clan names?
I'm going to go for Damage Inc. It just has all the connotations that DI needs.
-
MSSW4?
Allowing the CD regulars to speculate is harmless, so long as everyone is aware this is not the official topic. Topic opened.

Favorite arena to fight in at clan wars?
I'd rather you use this topic, since it asks a similar question to what you have.

What made you start?
Joined a clan to remedy my timidity in the wilderness: there's strength in numbers after all.

Kudos to Peter and Lordofrah for such open-mindedness.

Clan Chronicle - 2nd Issue
Interesting read, although the In the Clan Board this Week... section is unnecessary.

Clan names on profile.
Private clan forums were allowed her once, and still are I think, so it's not such a foreign idea to give users opportunities to form clans on TIF. And I think (or I'm maybe just speculating) that the usergroups on RSC are controlled automatically: that is, once you enter a clan in your profile, you are added to the clan memberlist without confirmation.

Clan names on profile.
You could do what RSC do. Their clan profile links to a memberlist on their forums, where all the members of a particular clan (who have declared their clan in their profile) can be seen. I don't know the mechanics of it and whether it could be done on this software; but it's perhaps something worth looking in to.

Clan Forum Suggestions
Would you like us to just repeat ourselves again? All the good ideas are spent. It is now up to someone to do something with them.

Clan Support Update Continued
And who is the leadership? What do they do/are doing/have done?

Clan Support Update Continued
Wrong. There are plenty of topics in the CIC forum which were full of ideas. Someone is needed who can look at these suggestions prudently and rationally, and then implement them if possible. The CD forum needs leadership, and the Admins are the only group who can install one. You've admitted that you are inexperienced and ignorant, so find someone - or, even, a few people - who can maintain the Clan boards and run them independently from the rest of TIF.

Clan Support Update Continued
There is nothing I can say that I haven't already said before about CD (either here or on the CIC forum). Plainly, someone has to take the ideas that have been given and do something with them. Until then, we're stuck.

Clan Support Update
Something like this was already tried, but failed: http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=547986

Clan Support Update
And what has your discussion and planning come to? A clan UN requires a lot of clans to work - not five.

Morrissey
Morrissey is the greatest: is there are a better cure to life's troubles than his lyrics? His new album is to be released around this time next year, and Russell Brand is doing a documentary to coincide with it. I can't wait.

Info wanted on Clan "Hax Unit"
I can't find anything on them. As far as I know TDM haven't had a sub-division since Lil Death Monkeighs, which died over a year ago.

Moderator Application Discussion Thread - Check your Inboxes
There has been too many broad-spectrum moderators and not enough moderators who are experienced in a given field. It's been like this for almost a year now. Sure, general and H&A is moderated well, but there are other sections that are now lifeless because of the lack of efficient staff. Graveyard is dull, the RSC forum has suffered since Vmser moved on and Forum Games has been neglected since Jak left. But I don't see how this new breed of application-moderators is going to remedy this. If a user has good ability, then they should have been spotted by staff already. This recruitment drive just makes TIF look desperate.

Moderator Application Discussion Thread - Check your Inboxes
It must be WoW: it's the only possible reason why a staff-member would want to leave TIF.

Desperate times indeed.
