It depends what type of game you prefer really. But Resident Evil, Castlevania, Animal Crossing and Metroid Prime are four I would thoroughly recommend.
  2. Risky fighting a PK Team. Good job nonetheless.
  3. We were both involved with the CTET idea. I'm disappointed to see it has descended into its current state. And no; I didn't resign because of the Clan section, the CTET or anything affiliated with it. I left because of blunders made by staff - none of whom are in the CTET.
  4. To Sheynara: I resigned about three weeks after suggesting the CTET. It was in very early stages - applications were about to be received - when I left. If you can see the Staff forum, then you'll know why. I loved working with the people in the Clan forums. I enjoyed improving TIF's Clan section. But the actions of some in other areas of the forums frustrated me. I hated to leave the Clan section like it was, but I couldn't work with certain people any longer. Not once was I contacted about the CTET idea. Not once. I was PMed about Clan-forum issues several times - by Bufoman, Grim_Jokes, Igna and Kill_Life. But, when it came to the CTET, no-one asked for guidance or advice. I have my solutions to some of the current problems; I have my ideas on how to improve. But I'm not handing them over yet. It's clear that there is no-one who has either the enthusiasm, experience or the patience to get things done. You cannot blame me or Satenza; neither of us were around for our own reasons. But there are others with opinions on TIF. And, although I haven't checked, I'm pretty sure you did not ask for constructive criticism prior to this topic. If you want to know why the CTET was created, and who we modelled ourselves on, then read all the topics by LadySarafina and I in the Clan Archives. "Doing well with what we had", is all very well. But that is not the recipe for success. You should have waited until you had the resources. The CTET has not fulfilled it's purpose. It should be scraped and re-done again. You've had your attempt at creating Clan events. Now let others get involved who can generate growth on TIF.
  5. Then have a poll created. Either you vote for it to stay the same, or for it to be restarted.
  6. I asked for some opinions. I didn't ask for the Admins to directly make a decision. We need someone to control this and make a decision - but that doesn't mean I'm pointing at you directly.
  7. Really, you're not doing yourself any favours. Influential Clans cannot simply be ousted by a batch of CTET-grown Clans. Anyone with an understanding of Clans can see that. Rapidly growing? Not so. If these Clans were indeed growing, then why hasn't the CD forum became more popular? Why hasn't more topics been posted? Why don't topics receive more replies than they did 6 months ago? Now who's trying to make people look like they don't give a rip? You "don't like to dwell in the past", is another way of saying "I don't know what happened in the past, or why we're trying to improve". You learn from the past, and you improve. And let's just be quite clear, I'm not trying to get rid of the smaller Clans that frequent Tip.It. I'm trying to get rid of a group who are not performing. You seem to think the "big Clans" are intent on crushing the smaller Clans. This is not the case. Just because someone can, doesn't mean they will. And that's one of the problems. You have not been given a clear purpose. The CTET were to create events, but also they were to encourage debate on the forums (that's why I suggested people who post here). But you have no idea what to do. Making events for Clans is a doddle, but making interesting events and making better TIF's reputation is something that should be left up to people who know what to do - people who are not motivated by the thought of a purple avatar. Stubbornness like yours was seen by Clan Staff here some years ago. Look at the section now. Your solution is to hide behind what you were 'told to do'; to be narrow-minded and deny the essential ingredients that would reverse the problem. And finally, I wish the Staff would give some opinions. We don't need thanks and praise for posting. We need someone to control this and make a decision.
  8. That has to be the most ignorant view ever. It's quite tragic really; everything the Staff - past and present - have tried to achieve with regards to encouraging bigger Clans can just be thrown out the window. If anything, your post has shown that you are not what is needed. It's not about GES. We're saying that you do not have the experience and enthusiasm in Clans to make this work. It's become an addition to the TET, and that's not what was intended. Even when we're discussing the future of the CTET, few CTET members have actually posted. What does that say about their intentions? They don't contribute, but they attempt to create events. Utter tosh. Scrap it, and start again; get the right people in, and do it properly.
  9. In a word: no. No more unnecessary forums please. The Skilling Recruitment Centre should never have been created; nor should the other two categories (90+ combat recruitment etc.). Have two sub-forums: one for recruiting for clans, and the other for individuals to join a clan. Two forums equals easy moderating and less confusion.
  10. I bought my membership back on Monday, and since then I've been alching. I did, however, manage to get a few levels. 78 Firemaking 67 Smithing 68 Smithing 69 Smithing And then: 97 Mage Now only 36k alchs until 99 Mage...I can hardly wait.
  11. How many of the current CTET posted here before the CTET's creation? I think the answer speaks volumes. And look now: how many of the current CTET post regularly on these forums? In my opinion, many have just saw this as a back-door into the TET. The only solution is to dump them. To LB: A Clan-discussion chat was discussed when the new chat-server was opened. But we really need to look at the core of this section before adding any peripherals.
  12. It's not enough just to be in a Clan. You have to be from the right Clan background with experience and contacts. If any of the current CTET members have this experience, then they're hiding it quite well. I'm sure they'll recover. The experience they have gained can be easily usurped by the experience of those who should have been in it.
  13. To TS's first post: Meetings in RS do not work. The time will have to suit everyone, it can be crashed, etc. Important discussions should take place on the forum; that way, it can be moderated, everyone can speak freely, as it's not instant more people can post and leave messages at different times, etc. Anything that has to be said about the running of the CTET can be done so on these forums. I agree that the events should be looked at. Currently, the events just seem to be on a large scale. There is nothing Clan-ish about them. They, instead, should be shaped for Clans. The Conclave idea sounds good - if we get the basics right first. It is vital that the CTET needs to be up and running, and there needs to be a sufficient amount of people willing to support it. A Conclave must only be founded after said stipulations. Thus, it cannot be created until sometime in the future. If a big enough group stand anywhere, people are curious. But that's not to say the group is a big success. It may have brought about friendships between a few Clans, but it's turning away the larger, older, more well-known Clans that Tip.It needs. Exactly. We don't need bigger versions of TET events. We need events for Clans. Satenza has hit the nail on the head. I discussed with Staff and we agreed a very clear list of active forum users who should have been in the CTET long before any applications took place. But none of them have been selected. The message is simple: scrap it and start again. And this time, do it properly.
  14. Are you sure you don't mean the Wanderers?
  15. There are some really good quality kills on your gallery. Good luck with your goal.
  16. Some really nice achievements there. Good luck with your goals.
  17. Impressive levelling. Good luck.
  18. I can only remember you vaguely. Why did the Clan die the first time?
  19. Adding a clan link to the profile was rejected, when I suggested the clan profile option, because the risks outweigh the benefits: it's not really needed, may pose a security risk, etc.
  20. Because of no interesting events, no advertising etc, the CTET is redundant. Just scrap it. You can spark debate in other ways.
  21. Are policing and reconnaissance now the same?
  22. If the government can afford to pay for someone to sit staring at a screen and barking orders, then why can't they afford to pay for an extra policeman on the street? It's utter madness.
  23. Rejoice? Why? Rockstar just churn out brain-rotting cabbage. The gameplay in their games is always awful and just follows the same repetitive nonsense.
  24. Hahaha, this doesn't even make sense! Care to elaborate on what you mean? How does it not make sense for example. I reported your post but it seems that the mods believe you made a good point. I *assume* you know we are talking about history though. Quite simply, you cannot compare Britain's history and success with a fascist dictator who murdered millions. You have completely missed the poster's argument; a country like Britain which has one of the most stable currencies and one of the strongest economies in the world, is having rules and legislation imposed on her. Britain is a super-power and does not need managed from Brussels. Hitler comparisons do not fit into this equation.
