A NEW PIXEL SIG after a while...
Thx, it actualy took me shorter than expected...around 5-6 hours overall, mainly cause anything went the right way...

My first few sigs....
Ok here's what i can say about your works... First thing i noticed, even earlier than the quality i'll speak about later on, is the total lack of a concept in your sigs...How can a granite maul in a green field make a sig on its own ? You must develop a kind of "story" or situation in your sigs, else it's just an illustration of an item or a place... On the graphical side you'r far behind the running standards of first tries in this board. Actualy all these should be allright for a 1st try but i can see you didn't make much progress from 1st to last, while the learning curve in pixels, at least for me, appeared to be very very fast at the beginning, so quite huge improvements should be noticed from 1st to last, unless you made all of them in a rush without stopping for a while to listen to some c/c or simply compare your works to those of the other ppls around here, pointing out what you were missing in each work.... For example in all these pieces you can notice a minimal palette, almost no shading and pretty odd anathomy in the chars, lack of detail, trembling linework...bla bla bla... In other words i think your works are a bit of an headhache on every aspect...so you should realy work harder next time you open your paint. Sorry

A NEW PIXEL SIG after a while...
Ok i made this for a friend who's getting RS married soon so i went for a romantic one this time... There will be 2 versions of this sigs, with inverted names so both of them can use their own at will... I'm very happy with the result however anything can be improved so please leave C/C if you want. Thx Note : The border is a simple slim black line since i still don't know my friend's preferences about it...so skip that part in C/C

Donnie Darko sig, gimme a rate!
The film was great, yet your sig doesn't work that much imo. It should be dark...and the highlight + text ruins this thing It should be something scary or twisted, but the simple presence of the Bunny doesn't realy help much in this way too. I'd personaly get rid of the gradient bg and the highlight/stroke around the bunny, going for a coming out the darkness look, if you get what i mean. In this case you should get maybe a pic with a different highlight that might help you a bit (for example one with light coming from right or left, so that playing with contrast&co you should achieve a nice result). As the Bg i'd go for a dark one of course, expecialy if you wanna save the text giving it an important role in the play, but maybe add something slightly noticable, like a film setting i.e the cinema, the bathroom or the outside of his house....

ATTEMPT AT PIXEL
Well all i gotta say is...Next one will be better 8) Just remember that: resizing pixels is a BAD idea working on the lineart is a SMART idea  Note : some1 just above, grow up please...

Please Rate... Im new to these forums.
isn't it a simple blending option over an abstract ? :?

First Pixel
It's highly suggested you test your sig before making a post like this... Edit : it works now yet you can't use it in these forums... You'r actualy breaking both rules that limit sigs here a) Sig limits are 300x150px x30kb B) No gore is allowed in sigs. sorry

lol
Looks like a posterize or polarize effect that tuned down the colors and complexity of a flamy bg or simply a couple colors set gif compression... You might had done that all by yourself, yet the result is very poor. There's nothing bad in making such a sig, after all, you simply need to spend a lot of time on good-turorials aquiring the needed basis to run your graphic programs decently. As well as you don't have to blame ppl if they rate you, ppl should avoid those kind of ratings you can see in this thread...

2 new sigs, my brushes
ditto 8) Yet, while first one realy gives a feeling of random brushing, the second one is very nice for the eye.

Edep's sig shop (^_^)'
Isn't the text offensive ?

I think you should realy care of the cape later on, even if i suggest a dark and poorly reflective one... About the character there's just one thing i'd like to point out. A Lich is supposed to be an undead mage so i think you should stress the highlights/shadows a bit more, making the face more ruined by time and evil :) if you get what i mean :)

My Own Brushes, Plz Rate.
I think what Nad and others who actualy MAKE some art (in its widest and mildest meaning) would like to say is that stealing (yes, i doubt you have the permission to use that drawing) some1 else's characters to make them the heart of "your" sig is something at least questionable... Brushing here and there with all the skills you want (i'm not saying these sigs can't be eye-pleasing) doesn't change the fact that 99% of "grunge" sigs and anime related ones are pure RIPS and in my opinion shouldn't be allowed on a board that fights against ripping. Just my 2 cents... About the brushes it's hard to rate them having no idea how you shaped the single brushes in the set, what i can say is that the overalll result is nice and the brushing is pretty interesting even if nothing that original. However the good thing of brushes is their time-saving ability so depending on how much time those made you save, you can get an idea of my rating :)

Pixville! Tip.it's pixel village
Just my opinion but if you plan to make something nice off a project like this you should at first give a template so that every1 uses the same isometric setup...Then actualy draw a city map that's itself isometric, in order to match the template... Pretend ppl to follow the isometric rules and , if possible, stay within the template and you'll have a nice result. To my eyes it's just another messy pixelvillage try...

im looking for a pixel sig partner...
Come on...stop the flaming...He's just asking for a partner...If you don't wanna team up with him just stay outta this post or save your bitter statements... He probably has an high consideration of his own skills but that's mainly his problem and evades from the Topic of this thread...

im looking for a pixel sig partner...
Link is the name of the guy in the sig...

That's cause Paint and Pngs with transparency probably don't go well together...however i suggest you use something slightly more performing that paint to brush this one...

Just sharing a fast linework about a Lich. Lines haven't been refined yet so if you plan to keep it this size you should fix it here and there. Yet if you plan to resize it down (remember to do that AFTER you color it) you won't need that much work since anything will fix automaticaly. Feel free to get whatever you want off it. Enjoy

Rate this new pixel sig
 Not going to waste other 2 words on the fact it's not a pixel or that the flashing thing is simply outrageous for eyes/taste, I think it's pretty hard to define this a brushed sig... Looks more like a lineart filling one... No offence, the overall look (again, if we forget about the flashing dude) is pretty nice and clean, but in my opinion lacks of all the details a brushed sig should have. (points at TTTIA sig for reference). A thing simple as this could have been nice with some vector graphics, but the trembling lineart realy messes it up a lot in the final appeal... (That's also the main reason i don't like "brushed" illustrations). So if you plan to improve the style i suggest you redraw all the linework so that it's clean and straight, giving the sig a taste of finished, hard worked on stuff. Keep it up :)
