I realy don't have that much time these days (or months ?) yet consider my door (pm) always open for some help, if you have the patience to wait a bit since i might not check messages every hour :). I'm not the best around but i hope i'd be of some help.

Sometimes it's not just young people who get scared, older people and adults may also be disgusted by blood and gore. About the wip, looks great but I'll wait for the final piece before commenting further. :) I think it's allright to have a blood&gore rule on this forum. You can't prevent some1 that uses a sig to go post in different sections of the boards, and you can't prevent some1 that could get impressed by such sigs to accidentaly bump into one of those while, maybe, reading a Teletubbie (spelling?) thread... So i think that to respect all ppl (young and not) that doesn't like splattering images under their eyes the Blood&Gore rule is fine. Yet i think this shouldn't scare ppl from making something a bit "darker" in theme and to post it here with the appropriate warnings. About the sig...it will be a WIP for a pretty long time since university is killing me :evil: Cheers

I think this sig has been CCed enough when it was published, no point saying the same things over and over again. So please don't revive month old threads...

Everyone bows in front of the Cactus Master ! I'd go with what's been written carefully just above...What i realy start to wonder is... Don't you guys even try to improve your stuff before posting it ? I mean you have eyes...you surf this forum that's filled of first pixels and early attemps...so why don't you just consider those CCs, study them a bit...compare your stuff with theirs and the relative feedback...repair your obvious mistakes and try to work something more then 5 minutes before posting something ? Cause dam...if you look at the main forum a good 30% of it is "Rate my first pixel" or stuff like that, and if in the Sig guide from tip.it there's written "Don't post your first pixel" there might be a good reason. This probably isn't a first...but whatever...its quality doesn't go that far from first tries (actualy...some of them are way better). So please...please...spend some more time making a pixel sig...learn from other ppl mistakes (that's what those thousands of similar CCs left on threads like this shoul have been made for) and produce something better.This is nothing particulary aimed at you...but i had to post it somewhere.

The sig is something close to 600x300 so i realy can't put all the best detail in a secondary (yet kinda big) Character else i'll probably get the main guys kinda "lost" in the sig, if you get what i mean. Of course nothing has been finished yet and something here can (and probably will) be changed. THX

Well you know the way i work... I try to get the most solid yet real-looking shading off my sigs. So i kinda prefer those sigs of yours that had a pretty solid shading. Simple and all according to your cartoonish style (Textures would ruin these sigs imo). Plus sometimes 2 bright doesn't mean more funny...that's what i think at least. You've improved a lot under some aspects (for example the dynamics and the filling of the spaces) but, and this is mainly related to my taste probably, you've lost something along the way such as a more 3d-like look. Personaly there are 2 ways you could take now. Totaly move on a 2d-cartoonish style (and this implies a LOT of work on the bg/sky detail/colors to make it work) or try to reach a good balance between cartoon and phisics. And i say sorry cause i don't wanna look rude, yet sometimes my fast typing and laziness to go back and change stuff might give that feeling :)

I've always been a fan (the wirling one of course) of funny sigs even if i still love dark gory situations as well, if not even more. This enters the first class...so i should like it...as i actualy do. How much do i like it ? Unfortunately the answer is Not that much. Ok the style is fresh and cartoonish...but that's mainly all with the sig. First of all the concept is a little plain...it's just a normal trade...no real "Scam" going on or something particulary funny. The funny faces of yours kinda rise the sig quality but unfortunately that's the only graphical aspect that helps this sig go. The background is pretty embarassing...with cheap lineart and acid color choices, that make the desolated landscape even worse, if possible. The tree...yet having some dam solid borders and a flat 2d trunk, has a realy 3d look...that unfortunately fights with all the rest of the sig. The sun is shaded...but can a sun watched directly show any kind of shadows ? I mean...what gives the sun, the global lightsource....shadows ? :roll: I can't tell you to check it yourself in rl for obvious reasons... The character, on top of all the above, show sometimes lower detail than the background....and this means a lot...on the bad side. Plus their linework seems fastly made and not worked on. I Remember stuff from you, dated 2004 that was way better than this one... Sorry

I've been requested a very very bloody pking sig for another forum that allows some pretty huge sigs and this is a side element of the sig itself. Some1's fist is supposed to hold the hair in the future...whatever. Since i mainly post here and i actualy think nowadays we realy miss some evil productions.... here's the link WARNING : The image is very bloody, if you missed the warning in the title you can still stop here and not click on the link. :shock: Why my hand ? *OUCHIE* (i guess it's all about that foodslayer stuff mmm?) However if you can't draw outlines then...all you need is more practice or more time... If you can't shade all you need is getting veeeeery veeeeery friendly with RGB (or HLS) palettes, keeping an eye on whatever you can see in nature, expecialy the different reactions a certain surface has to certain light sources. Real life can teach you a lot of thing about arts in general, so it's never a bad idea to rip nature :)

I've stumbled upon your latest unposted sig, I could say the same about yours. 8) Looks like i'm not allowed to post it yet :evil: Whatever since i made it only cause it was a special request for a special event (you know i don't love "want it like this other" sigs, even tho Baldy's original was probably my preferred concept so far)...i guess i have to suffer a special delay lol... Sorry for the other rude post on the 1st sig, but i think that if you put the two of them one over the other...you'll notice what i was aiming to. Despite this has half the things that were going on in the 1st, i like it at least twice as much. Keep it up !!!
