  1. To create something off your own hands. No filters...no renders...You generate 37500 colored dots and, hopefuly, the result is something completely coming from your effort and sometimes has a certain artistic value too.
  2. :? I don't think i was after a Herblore Pshyco...
  3. This is a sig i made a while back but couldn't post since it's a RS wedding gift and the ceremony just finished... It's a step back to cartoony situations...what to say ? I wasn't sure i could be in the right mood to make good cartoony sigs anymore recently but...well...i realy love this one. Realy. Hope you like it aswell. and btw...CONGRATS BIOX & ELFADUNK !!!
  4. its name is actualy some numbers... 04b_X where X is different from version to version (there's like 5 of them i think).
  5. It looks pretty funny so far. Something fresh and original... Main problem is, as pointed out above, your kind of shading. Having no big contrast, not texturing (but this is kinda common so you can just go over it) and those strong highlights...make him look like wearing a silicon armor. To get an idea of what i mean...just take a couple comics...one with a Marvel superhero in it (fantastic 4 would also fit your color choice) and one with some medieval stuff in it ( Some Berserk arts would help a lot...but they'r not as easy to find as ff4...but Google is such a powerful tool). You'll notice that the most realistic part of the armor are the leggings, still lacking some contrast. Keep it up but remember it's always better to have a clear idea of what your sig will look like once finished rather than building it piece by piece.
  6. Yes that's what happens when you use Photoshop or similar things to do colors and shading in a "PIXEL" sig. Prove me wrong. The work on the characters and the stalagmite is good anyway...
  7. I see good potential here. Just be sure you give your drawing all the time they need, and don't rush anything. Background has good ideas for example, but has been rushed 2 much. Keep it up.

    New sig

lol the 860k dimension of this sig is kinda outrageous for any forum. Anyway it's pretty well done...most of the stuff on it is ripped...still pretty well done. Still pointless to post it here since there's noway you'll be able to use it on Tip.it
  9. Antialiasing is this : this has been made by hand in 2 mins. Photoshop has automated ways to calculate it ( another way to AA borders of a "crisp" level, is to use a soft brush as your rubber tool, and brush far from the border...a bit of the faded surroundings of the rubber brush will smooth your borders...)
  10. Feel free to pm me anytime you need some advice, within reason. Might take a while to answer anyway.
  11. ahah :D Anyway...CNN is probably a better source
  12. You probably follow Disney Channel News then OperationFl. Anyway this isn't the proper forum to discuss this about.
  13. Well, how about you give a reference (not sure it's the right word) to the image you used so every1 can see if it's free to use ? More or less how it works on Deviant Art when some1 uses stock photos, if you get what i mean.
  14. It actualy ruins all the sig...
  15. Nothing wrong with what you say. What i mean is that, since there's a lot of people here training their pixels art and looking for ideas or just a few cash, i think he could have saved the ULTIMATE bla bla bla contest, going for what it realy is. "Can some1 make me a pixel sig for 130k ?" This way it looks a bit like spam to me...and a big spam generator 2 (in the shape of LOL replies if you know what i mean). I'm not questioning about the fact he's paying 130k. Nor i'm saying no1 will make him one for that price (even if i still think that asking for a free one would have sounded better but that's just me). Just saying this topic sounds all wrong on itself. And yes...the concept is kinda...mehh :?
  16. Well it's very easy to shade if you use an HSL palette instead of a RGB one, cause once you set the desired Hue (base color) and the desired Saturation (a very useful bar to get good skin colors btw), all you need to shade is to play with the L (lightness ?) bar. You can notice different versions of the same color even with a step of "2" but it all depends on what kind of shading you'r after and how many colors you plan to use. It's all up to your taste and some attempts. Enjoy
  17. @ lvl 80 combat as he is, if he only has a friend they can easily make Barrows runs, share the loot, subtract their losses to arrange the trips @ their lvls (not much actualy) and keep the rest for themselves. Good enought to consider 130k something way far from ULTIMATE imho.
  18. LOL Sory...it's just that ... ehi .... how do you expect ppl to help you if it's impossible to say what the.... you have drawn on your sig ? And how could we help you if you don't say what you'r aiming for ? A guy fighting ? casting some spells ? Reading a newspaper on the toilet ? If you are that lazy to ask help before even trying, at least....please...try to make a less pointless post. :P
  19. You'd better add this to the title : Phr33 st0ff Pl0x  Anyway i suggest ppl try to add the arms themselves...i mean...he looks soooooooo sad without them (poor buddy). I'd say he's arms are covered by the mantle...but...make some tiny parts of them pop up somehow :P Keep it up
  20. wow...and i should think you shaded that manualy ? :P (anyway even if you did  it's a totaly wrong choice, you just made the whole guy look flattened that way, you'd better try to shade according to a realistic light/shadow balance, typical of the thing you'r woking on, following its supposed 3d shape)
  21. Dude i think you could have asked some1 to make you for free. There's a lot of ppl improving and in need of ideas and new subjects to work on. Of course you'r not getting the best sigs ever (but you actualy can't say), but you'd save yourself the cheep role you just played... Just my 2cents here.
  22. Let's see : at least 60% of the surface of the sig is covered by that guy's render. Now i higly doubt you made it yourself, so it's not your work. What did you do yourself in this sig then ? Some blending over an abstract whose quality is kinda pointless being the focus of the sig the shooting guy. I'm not gonna consider flaws or whatever in the sig. I gotta say it looks nice yet how can something living on some1 else work, be considere yours ? this on the other hand seems like something made by you 100% (with some premade brushes or not, i don't care). No need to say this abstract doesn't work. Sooo....it would help to give up using (ripping?) those 3rd party images and work on your own skills more, even cause you can't sell a single sig of these here due to size limits so you'll have to make new ones from 0.
  23. How did you make the bg ? :?:
