  1. What ? *performs Power DDT on Terley* *Frog Splashes Terley* *1...2....3...OUT* :P Well i personaly think that it's always nice to have those little colorfull patches to make the threads a better place to surf into.... Moreover the owner can actualy express something about his personality...or since it's a game forum, his attitude/skills in game. Having a good sig maybe from a famous artist then might also increase your reputation but that's not the primary goal of sigs i think. Cheers
  2. It just seems to me that you miss a couple things. First of all i don't think there's a single sig i posted here as finished, that hasn't been changed by me after the CC's. Not a single one. I take into great consideration CCs since they help to fix the things, and those usualy are the smallest details. But the problem here is not the things you pointed out (correct, no doubt, and i'll fix those, thx) but the way you did, your attitude. I see no point in keeping on all this "As soon as theres a TJ sig or MXM everyone is like "omg sweet!!!!11;?}# 10/10" and doesnt provide any CC" cause it's not true and not respectful for the other ppl that posted here. Again this sig wasn't ment to be a graphical one and i didn't expect some graphical CC from the watchers, cause personaly that would have been marginal. You wanna leave your in-depht graphic CC on a concept sig making it look as the main thing on earth? thanks, cc recorded...will fix the flaws, but don't diss those who don't. That's just all i'm about, even concerning the "art" statement. It's all about your attitude, not how you actualy are. Just my 2 cents at least. On the other hand i realy don't get that other flame towards ppl in these boards accused to be rude against learners. Troublemakers act the same with any1 around here...but a lot of ppl do actualy try to help beginners. About me i personaly started when kinda no1 was making pixel sigs, so i had to find my own way even cause most of the audience wasn't that used to pixels and it was kinda harder to get good CCs. I think i came out decently anyway.
  3. -Looks like farming overcrowding messed up the server... got "couldn't post" message and of course....it did post...sorry-
  4. Mmm i gotta guess those black lines were only in the wallpaper that inspired me. Since i made it without direct reference but what seen on my neightbour's screen and my memories i guess i was wrong here. But...Mercifull, no offence but your capability to relate yourself to arts is kinda limited. If what you see in a sig like this are that kind of small details, then you'r probably missing the soul of the sig, that of course isn't a nice cloning of some South Park's graphics, but mainly an idea, a concept. Now you can feel proud of your CC and what you spotted there, but you'r just like a guy that's trying to clean a black spot on the floor in a house that's burning down...I don't think all the guys above liked the sig for the graphics. It's been dam easy to make it and it's probably the opposite of what i'm used to (that is pretty heavy detail on anything). I hope they liked the humor and the overall appeal...that's actualy what i was aiming to. Then there might be things that could be fixed to get it closer to the original (not that i'd care to but since they've been pointed out i'd probably fix), but the way you express it ... well..is just...pfff...read above .
  5. Well i wasn't aiming to make a perfect, maniacal copy of southpark's style. It's still my stuff afterall but if that disturbs you so much i'll fix it as i'll have more time. About the Grey line...well it's mainly some kind of AA since in Southpark snow fields have no lines dividing them from the BG. About the mountains. they DO HAVE THICK BLACK BORDERS on them in the cartoon. I just didn't like them so thick so i made them smaller. Yet that's in the original one. i'm 100% sure. Anyway i'll just consider the above stuff and again, once i have the required time, review those elements. Thx for the post
  6. Hint hint...don't even think to get into buddy sigs in this forum... Your reputation will suffer lol... I find them cute their special way .... *puts full dragon on* *hides*
  7. Loz...remove the old sig or you'll get in trouble :P
  8. That's a very good one CB...very good one !
  9. That's the biggest pudding i've ever seen there !!! You realy need to work on landscapes and faraway buildings. Also try to figure how a certain point of view can shape the above elements. In your sig all looks messed up. But it's a first try and it looks very nice under that light. Keep it up !
  10. Well i'm starting to get boring maybe but again... The girl expression perfectly matched the buyer's request, and since he told me the girl's real life apparence was very close to it, i'm VERY VERY satisfied of that and i see no point why i shouldn't be or why i should change it. I still do pixel sigs for my costumers, and since i get paid from them they have all the rights to decide what they want. I just try my best to fit their taste. On the other hand the Skin is the way I wanted it to be. Soft and smooth, and yes...cartoony so not textured and stuff, leaving to the hair the rule to put it in a more 3d way. Not gonna change it or consider it flawed. I tried a normal shading and this one, since i spend a lot of time on whatever i make, i decided this one was the best choice for what i was aiming for. I personaly think that way of shading works great cause else we'll be in front of a "realistic" char that wuold have required a total different color choice and global shading...that's not actualy what i was after. And about the birds...who says they'r flying over the city ? :? Think outside the box :P Anyway i love long and good CC's like yours, Quer, they'r the best way to talk about the sig in a deeper way. Thx
  11. I never liked the symbol on the chain...it actualy messes up with any kind of jewel-amulet you put on it...so...removed :)
  12. *checks the title* *checks the sig for sale* *checks his actual sig* Ok nice joke. Some1 close this.
  13. Ouch that's harsh. All referred to the 2 Mechs. Read above.
  14. Not going to open another sit-in about 3rd-party renders...so w/e... The text is totaly off... I don't like the font that doesn't match Tekken at all, the animation and the underline...Plus it's 2 big imo if your going for a simple looking sig (at least that's what the plain bg suggests). The color choices are allright...even if i'm not totaly sure about that highligthed stuff in the bottom-right corner. The image is good...i'm a Tekken maniac since the original one on Ps (came along with console the 1st day it was out in my country...ahhh...old days).
  15. And you made the moon highlight by yourself ? Cause i personaly find it odd when zooming in and checking colors with HSL you see variations on all the 3 main bars... You still might have done it yourself...but would have been a waste of time and actualy...i can't see any "human" logic in that shading... Anyway that halo fights with the dithered like shading of the foreground level, and with the kinda plain color of the background land. In other words...The sky is gradient like (or just, more directly a radial gradient...whatever) The background is a basic color with some noise on it...the foreground is a 3 color wanna be dithered one...and the Body is a pixel-by-pixel shaded thing...Now there's something pretty wrong with all that. The sig is allright...a bit boring and plain...with nothing going on and a pretty poor landscape that doesn't help at all, being it the main subject of the sig itself. keep it up
  16. Well...i was in a good mood last night... Tried something different... Hope you like it
  17. Biox sent me an in-game pic with a red hat and told me the grin fits her more than he expected. Hope he was right :D
  18. Basicaly that i don't think the addition of those 2 renders made the sig any better...
  19. Tecnicaly great. Artisticaly poor. In other words: I admire the idea and realization, but it realy doesn't work as a sig. The text position is obviously flawed too.
  20. Same as on RV. Not sure it's worth to be posted. Maybe go practice some more before posting something that obviously needs a so extended feedback that would probably lead you to nowhere. The forum guidelines suggest not to post 1st pixels. There might be a reason afterall. Keep it up
  21. Well we were actualy talkings about Renders that do help the sigs to look better...
  22. I'm not saying and i'll never say filters are bad (same for renders). I'm just saying why i prefer to make pixelart rather than digital art. I just feel the result more mine (sounds ugly but i can't find better words sorry). Same with didital painting...yet i don't get the same good feeling as i do while pixeling, but that's just me. Don't go easy assuming that a pixeler automaticaly dislikes other forms of rapresentation. I've tried a lot of stuff before setting down with pixels and i know how filters can give great results in the right hands. Of course as any other tool (lately i'd say pencil tool in paint) given to some1, they can be misused but i don't think this was the subject of my post by far.
  23. Just old...
  24. i fixed a little disharmony in the upper lip that gave it a lil weird look. The smile is intended to be saying "Ehi i'm smart" ... not "ehi i'm cute" ... But i won't change it more cause the buyer noted how much he loves it this way... Btw Ryan...what happened to the sig that developed together with your avvy ? i can't get your rotator to show it...Does it hate me or did you remove it ? :x
